Ⅱ. Show the teaching aims

Knowledge aims:

Master the use of the new words,phrases and the drills in the passage.

Ability aims:

Read and understand the passage.They are supposed to get some information by reading it to

improve the students’ reading skills.

Feeling aims:

Problems and worries are normal in life. We should brave to face our problems. If you

share your problems, you’ll feel better.

Ⅲ. Before reading

Learning new words

T: Now check the pronunciation of these new words mand phrases.Pleaes read them freely one by

one. Can you follow me to read these words? (Lead the class to read the new words and phrases of

this part together.)

T: Can you read it again and try to catch the meanings of the words and phrases? (Given 2 minutes,

the class read the short text in silence and try to catch the meanings.)

Then call some ones to tell the meanings of them.

Order: 在语境中突破单词,加深对词汇的理解。

Reading stratagy:

Let your eyes “Skimming” (粗读或略读)the text quickly to find details(细节) that you are

looking for. You can find information quickly without reading the whole text.
