My Family's Rules

Hi friends! Today I want to tell you all about the rules in my

family. Every family has rules, right? Rules help keep things

organized and make sure everybody knows what's expected. In

our house, we have quite a few rules to follow. Some of them are

pretty typical, but others are kind of unique to my family. Let me

explain!

First up, we have the basic rules about behavior. My parents

always tell me and my little brother that we need to be respectful.

That means no rude language, no talking back, and always

saying "please" and "thank you." We also can't fight with each

other or be mean. Even if we're mad, we have to use our words

nicely to explain why. Acting out or throwing tantrums is a

no-no.

Keeping our room clean is another biggie in our house. My

My Wonderful Summer Vacation

Yay, summer vacation was here at last! No more waking up

super early and rushing to school. I was so excited for all the fun

things I would get to do over the next few months.

The first couple of weeks, I just relaxed at home. I slept in

late every morning until my mom yelled at me to get out of bed.

Then I'd stumble downstairs in my pajamas and plop down on

the couch to watch TV and play video games all day long.
