【学习过程】背景知识(你知道吗?)英国学校每一学年6个学期,学期之间即为例行的假期、一年的假期有6个。
假期分布一般来说有三大三小,三个大假期是12月份的圣诞节假期、3、4月份的复活节假期、7、8月份的暑假,在两个大假期的中间都有一个为期一周的小假期,称为Half Term。
美国的学校一般实行3学期制,每个学期当中一般都会有短暂的休假,时间在9天—2周左右。
美国有三大假期:1、圣诞假期(相当于我们的寒假),每年12月下旬起,长度在3周左右;2、复活节假期(相当于春假),每年4月中旬起,长度在3-4周;3、暑假,每年7月起,中小学为2个月,大学为3个月。
课前准备1、在课文中划出下列新词汇:mixed, French, foreign, language, during, discuss, in class, offer, end, baseball, win先听录音,然后注出词义。
