Play the song “ The Sun Is Rising”.
The students can enjoy the song and sing with it
gently.. (Stop the song and show a picture of
spring) Free talk
T: “Do you like the song?” “What’s the song
about?” “What’s the weather like in spring?’
“How about the temperature?” “How do you feel
about the air?” Ss give the answers. Ss describe
spring in English
Step 2: Word learning
1. a. melt (Show a picture) T, “The weather is
warm in spring. So the snow is melting.” Ss
guess the meaning and read the word.

1. 了解字母组合ir, oi和ur在单词中的读音变化,学习其发音规那么。
2. 通过完成Part C局部的活动,对本单元所学的有关季节的词汇和功能句进行全面复习和检测。
3. 通过各项复习稳固活动,提高语言运用能力。

教师准备:
1. Let’s chant和Read the words局部的教学音频。
2. Let’s learn局部的词汇卡片。
3. 服饰类单词卡片。
三、教学方法建议
课程导入(Leading In)
(1)Let’s chant
教师播放Part B Let’s chant局部的录音,请学生跟着节奏打拍子说唱歌谣,通过朗朗上口的歌谣,带着学生进人英语学习气氛中,并复习有关季节的词汇。
(2)眼疾手快
把四季的卡片贴在黑板上,然后每次选出4-6位学生一起站在黑板前,教师在一旁用每个季节特有的活动发指令,学生听到后立即将手按到相应的季节卡片上并说出应在的季节;教师在发令的间隙,可以视情况任意抽取其他学生说出相应的答案为调节气氛,教师可以成心延长语凋或突然加快语速,游戏也可用淘汰制进行每次动作最慢的同学出局,最后选出反响最快的同学。如:
T: I often plant trees.
Ss:〔学生立即将手按到spring上〕In spring.
T: I often swim. Ss:〔学生立即将手按到summer上〕In summer.
T: I often pick apples.
Ss.〔学生立即将手按到autumn上〕In autumn.
