教学过程Step 1 Revision1.让几个学生读出他们给S.T.Zhang写的回信。
2.用“Where would you like...?”“I'd like to...”等重点句型编对话。
3.让学生说出他们想去的地方和不想去的地方,并说出原因。
教师可给学生一些提示,如:I'd like to visit the Great Wall this summer, because it's the longest wall in the world.Step 2 Self check 11.让学生用所给单词进行填空,再用这些词语分别造句,最后老师核对答案(1.provide 2.cook 3.saving 4.pack 5.hope)。

二、教学向导四、主题思维图及任务型活动这是一个具有挑战性的任务,可先让学生根据已有的经验总结那些非常吸引人们旅游的城市的特点,把这些特点列出来,然后结合这些特点再去粗取精添加新内容,之后模拟建一个旅游城市,看看它能否吸引其他同学。
任务二:让我们将旅游胜地归类世界上有名的旅游胜地非常多,但是它们有各自不同的特点。
让同学们总结这些地点的特点并把它们分类,并总结它们的相同点和不同点。
任务三:向来咨询的旅游者介绍新线路假如同学们是旅行社职员,参与了旅行社开辟新的旅行线路的考察,请大家综合地理学、生物学、文化等各方面知识向来旅行社咨询的旅游者介绍新开辟的线路。
任务四:制作综合旅行手册小组同学或是全班同学合作制作一个综合的旅行手册。
手册的内容尽量要全面,至少要包括下面这些方面:旅游景点的自然地理情况;人文情况;气候特点;生物特点;旅游景点的交通状况;旅游者去该地点旅游时的注意事项等。
