1. make a difference有作用;有影响
make a difference意为“有作用/有影响”,make some/no difference (to sb.
/sth.)意为“(对某人/某物)有些影响/没有影响,对(某人某物)有作用/没作用”。difference前还可用much, big等来修饰。如:
Does that make a difference?那有什么影响吗?
This will make a difference.这会改变局势的。
2. I’m in Grade 7 and I love going to school!我现在七年级,我热爱上学!
句中的love是实义动词,表示“喜爱,热爱,喜欢”,love有强烈的感情色彩,相当于like...very much,其后可以直接接名词、代词、动名词或动词不定式作宾语。如:
My friend Bill loves to listen to music.
=My friend Bill loves listening to music.
我的朋友比尔爱听音乐。
love还可以作名词,意为“爱,喜爱”。在句中可作主语、宾语和表语。如:Mother’s love for children is very great.
母亲对孩子的爱是很伟大的。
3. Last year, I wanted to give up my studies.去年,我想放弃学业。
want作及物动词,意为“打算;希望;想要”,后常接名词或不定式短语作宾语,还可以接复合宾语,即want sb. to do sth.意为“想让某人做某事”。
如:She wants a holiday.她想要一次休假。
The teacher wants you to do it again.老师想让你重新做一'遍。

1. Your dad and I are away for three days. 你的爸爸和我要离开三天。
be away意为“离开”,表示状态,后面常接介词from,表示“从……离开”。
如:He has been away from home for a long time.他离家好长一段时间了。
leave为动词,也意为“离开”,为非延续性动词,不可以与一段时间连用。
如:一When did your father leave for Beijing? 你父亲什么时候动身去北京的?

2. I put your new jacket and your favorite shorts on your bed.
我把你的新夹克和你最喜欢的短裤放在你的床上了。
on your bed意为“在你的床上”。
如:There is a coat on your bed.在你床上有一件外套。
in bed, on the/one’s bed辨析
(1)in bed表示“躺在床上;卧病在床”,短语中的bed不指具体的床,其前面不用冠词,in也不能改为on。
如:Reading in bed is bad for your eyes. 躺在床上看书对你的眼睛有害。
(2)on the/one’s bed 表示“在某张/某人的床上”,也可以改为in the/ one’s bed。
如:Her skirt is on the bed. 她的裙子在那张床上(放着)。
3. Don’t watch too much TV.不要看太多的电视。
too much意为“太多的”,用来修饰不可数名词,表示超过某种程度。 如:There is too much rain in the south. 南方雨水太多。
(l) too many意为“太多的”,修饰可数名词复数。
