四、语法点
1.用来表示动作频率的，但程度上有区别的副词叫频率副词：always, usually, often,
sometimes。
★★★★★always—He always does his homework at weekends.
★★★★usually—Her mother usually does housework at weekends.
★★★often—Helen often watches films with her friends at weekends.
★★sometimes—Mike sometimes goes to the park with his family at weekends.
Sometimes Mike goes to the park with his family at weekends.
(1)按发生的频率程度高低排列为：always（100%）> usually（85%）> often（75%）> sometimes
（20%）> seldom(15%）> never(0%)。
(2)频率副词通常放在be动词、情态动词、助动词之后，实义动词之前。sometimes也可放在
句首、句中或句末，often也可放在句末（一般不放在句首）。
如：She is sometimes very busy.她有时很忙。I often go there early.我经常早到那儿。
Sometimes she writes to me.= She writes to me sometimes.她有时给我写信。

What does your mother do at weekends?—She often plays table tennis.3.关于in, on, at的用法：
在周末，用at,如at weekends在几点钟，用at,如：at seven
在夜里，用at，如：at night
在上午、下午、晚上，用in the...如：in the morning
在星期几，用on,如：on Sunday
上、下午、晚上和星期几同时出现，用on,如：on Saturday morning
在某个季节，用in,如：in autumn
4. eat a lot的用法
He always eats a lot too.他也总是吃许多东西。
(1) a lot of, lots of, many,much都可以表示“许多”，其中a lot of, lots of，即可以修饰可数名词
也可以修饰不可数名词，即后面跟可数名词也可跟不可数名词。
(2) many只能修饰可数名词，much只能修饰不可数名词。(3) a lot也表示“许多”，修饰动词，后面不跟名词，修饰动词时放在动词后面。
如：There are a lot of flowers in the park. = There are lots of flowers in the park.
= There are many flowers in the park.
There is a lot of water on the ground. = There is lots of water on the ground.
There isn’t much coal on Earth.
He often drinks a lot.他经常喝很多酒。
5.给某人看某物：show+某人+某物= show +某物+ to +某人
如show us your flowers =show your flowers to us
6.with “和……一起”with后+宾格
如：chat with me
