英语中如何把陈述句变成一般疑问句和否定句
一、
一般疑问句
什么是一般疑问句 : 用 Yes 或 No 作答的疑问句叫一般疑问句。 要将陈述句变成一般疑问句，可以遵循下列步骤：
1. 句子中有 be(am is are was were ) 动词、情态动词( can
would may )、will 时，只要直接把这些词置于句首，句末改成问号。
例： It is rainy today. →Is it rainy today?
Tom's father can play the piano → Can Tom's father play
the
piano?
2. 如果句中没有 be 动词、助动词或情态动词，则根据谓语动 词的形式借助 do 的相应形式放在句首，必须在句首加上助动词 Do 、Does (单三)、Did (过去式)加上这些助动词后，句子中 谓语动词必须用原形。
英语中如何把肯定句变成否定句
例： They go to school by bike. →They do not go to
school by bike.
二．肯定句变否定句
1. 句子中有 be(am is are was were ) 动词、情态动词( can
would may)、 will 时，只要直接在这些词后加 not. 例： It is rainy today. →It is not rainy today.
Tom's father can play the piano → Tom's father can not
play the piano .
2. 谓语动词是行为动词时， 必须在动词前加上动
don't 、doesn' t （单数第三人称） didn ' t （过去式） , 句子中谓语动词用原形。 例： They go to school
by bike. →They don 't go to
school by bike.
注意： 1. 在把肯定句改成否定句或一般疑问句的时候 , 要注意 句 thing 、 somebody 等词，如果有也必须进行改变， already 要 改成 yet ，some 、 something 、
somebody 等分别改成 any 、 anything 、anybody 等。
例： There is some water on the playground.
→ Is there any water on the playground?
2. 在改成否定句的时候注意把 too 改成 either, both 改成
neither, all 改成 none 等 .
3. 在改成一般疑问句的时候，常常把第一人称 I/we 改成第二人称 you, my /our 改成第二人称 your, me/ us 改成
第二人称 you 。
例：I usually have lunch at school →Do you usually have
lunch at school? My father is playing soccer. → Is your father playing soccer?
三. 一般疑问句的回答 一般疑问句往往采用简短回答，共由三部分（三个单词）组成，对
这三部分（三个单词）的确定可以概括例下：
1. 第一个词： 不是 Yes 就是 No 。（有时根据语气的不同， Yes 可 由 Sure, Certainly, Of course 等代替 .
2. 第二个词： 问谁答谁。 即答语中的主语须与问句的主语一致 （但 必须用主格代词）。
例： Does she clean her room every day? Yes, she does. Is
Anna ′s father a doctor? No ， he isn ′t.
Are you a student ? Yes, I am .No, I 'm not
如果主语是 this that, 回答时用 it 代替，如果问句中主语 these, those,
回答时用 they 代替。
3. 第三个词：用什么问，用什么答。即沿用问句中的引导词。
Can Jim play soccer? Yes, he can.
Does Mr Bean speak English? Yes, he does.
4．用 No 开头作否定回答时 , 结尾要加上 not 。因为回答必须是 三部分，所以否定回答必须缩写，而肯定回答不能缩写。
Is Lin Lin in Class 3? Yes, she is. / No, she isn ′t. 或（ No, she′ s not ）
