各位专家、各位老师、各位朋友：大家好！我们又见面了，感谢您如此耐心地坚守在电脑前。本节课教学内容为人教版新目标初中英语七年级下册Unit 5

Why do you like pandas?的第三课时（Section B 1a-1d），课型是探究课。关于我收到中央电教馆录课任务时给本次录课做的目标定位，关于我30余年的教学和教研生涯积淀的教学追求，在录制第一课的说课时已经具体说明了，在此不再重复。

常规的说课流程包括以下八个方面，本次我增加了“教学追求”。鉴于教学追求、教材分析、学情分析、教学重难点、教学方法及手段等内容在《教学设计》和本说课的PPT里面已经明确了，所以在此也不再赘述了。

本课的教学内容在本单元起着桥梁和纽带的作用。本课内容要承上：即要对前两课所学的动物名称、特点、产地和喜好进行综合性运用。同时，本课内容又要启下：即要初步扫清下一课语篇教学中的词汇和动物介绍等方面的障碍。可见，本课的教学内容既重要又平淡无奇，常规的教学方式会导致课堂索然无味。为了在这种条件下也能够达到提高学生英语素养的目的，我尝试使用了耶鲁大学新倡导的，风靡全球的创造力培养方法Design Thinking，试图通过听说实现以下三方面的突破：通过探究和写作小诗的过程建立相互关联的语言、思维、文化、策略有机融合的活动，实现对动物名称、特点和习性的分类认知，培养学生的创新能力；运用电子词典、在线电子图书、在线电子报纸、邮件、双师课堂等现代信息技术手段拓展学习渠道，丰富学生视野。按照外语学习的认知规律，在教学中落实学生思维品质的培养。
