Unit1 SectionA(3a-3c)

【教学目标】

1. 掌握本课时重点单词passenger, trouble, himself, onto, hit

2. 掌握本课时重点短语get off, right away, to one’s surprise, get into trouble, fall down, agree to do

sth.

3. 掌握以下重点句式

1) A woman next to him was shouting for help.

2) Thanks to Mr. Wang and the passengers, the doctors saved the man in time.

3) The old man had a heart problem and needed to go to the hospital right away.

4) The bus driver, 24-year-old Wang Ping, stopped the bus without thinking twice.

【教学过程】

Step 1情景导入

Let the students enjoy a story. Befor it, the teacher ask the student a questionabout:

T: When you see someone lying on the road because of illness or being hurt, will you leave or send

him/her to the hospital? Then ask the students to talk about it.

T: Let’s read the passage on Page3.

【环节说明:由现实生活中常常发生但又敏感的话题入手,引起学生的思索,同时又引出要学的内容。】

Step 2完成教材3a—3b的任务

1.阅读3a短文,根据短文内容,回答问题。“Do you think it comes from a newspaper or a book?

How do you know?”

2.认真阅读短文,标注出故事中所发生的事情,完成后让学生展示自己的答案,教师点拨。

3.再次细心阅读短文,分段完成相关的任务。

【环节说明:通过阅读分析文章,学生的阅读分析能力在这一环节得到提升。】

Step 3完成教材3c的任务

1.认真阅读3a短文,思考3c中的问题。

2.小组讨论发表自己对三个问题的观点。

Step 4 情感教育(一边听音乐,一边谈论)

1. Help others, help ourselves!

2. Help others, I’m happy! 3. Help others,......

教学反思

本课时以现实话题入手引起学生讨论,采用短文阅读和练习方式加强学生阅读能力,并加入角色扮演练习,让学生达到学以致用的效果。
