Last Sunday, I watched a movie called The Butterfly Lovers. It was about Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai who were regarded as the Chinese Romeo and Juliet. The movie was so sad that I couldn’t help crying. Because I was deeply moved by the moving story.It was a sad but beautiful love story. The story happened in the Eastern Jin Dynasty(东晋). Zhu Yingtai was a beautiful and intelligent young woman from a rich family of Shangyu, Zhejiang. At that time women weren’t allowed to go to school, so Zhu dressed up as a young man to attend school. During her journey to Hangzhou, she met Liang Shanbo from Kuaiji (Shaoxing). After studying together for three years, Zhu gradually fell in love with Liang. Unluckily, Zhu’s parents asked her to marry Ma Wencai from a rich family. Liang was heart-broken when he heard the news and became badly ill and died at last. On the day of Ma and Zhu’s marriage, a mystery happened. Liang’s grave(坟墓)opened with a clap of thunder. Without further hesitation（犹豫）, Zhu threw herself into the grave to join Liang. Their spirits turned into a pair of beautiful butterflies flying out of the grave. They flew together happily as a pair and were never to be separated（分离）again.。
