新加坡根底教育(jīchǔ jiàoyù)优势：新加坡根底教育(中、小学)世界领先，其教材被欧美等兴旺国家普遍引用。
双语言环境，学生自幼能同时承受到与世界接轨的英式教育和中华文化的传统教育，其重于素质教育，注意引导以及培养孩子的特长，开展自己的天赋和兴趣爱好，开发自己的潜能，学习实用技巧而不是考试技巧。
毕业于新加坡公立小、中学，凭会考成绩更容易入读世界知名大学。
新加坡中小学政策支持：新加坡非常欢送来自中国的学生，是全世界唯一允许6-16岁外国中小学生进入政府中小学国家，政府中小学每年的学费低廉，仅为2-3万元左右/年(人民币)。
不仅如此，政府允许16周岁以下外籍学员的母亲或祖母陪读，陪读妈妈、祖母均可申请陪读工作准证，陪读母亲在新加坡既可照顾孩子(hái zi)，又能工作赚钱。
新加坡政府中小学介绍：新加坡的公立小学六年完成学业，公立中学四年或五年完成学业。
其课程内容多元化，包括英语、母语(华文)、数学、科学、人文学科，公民与道德教育、体育、音乐等。
中学生升上中三时，可以根据自己的才能及兴趣选修科目，这些选修课程有文科、理科、商科、和工艺科。
校方也提供各种辅助课程和活动以迎合学生的不同爱好和才能，让学生在体育活动、视觉及表演艺术、信息科技、科学研究等领域中都能发挥所长。
公立中学除了注重学生的课业外，也非常重视学生的全面开展，即“德、智、体、群、美〞(简称“五育〞)。
除了在课堂上传授知识和灌输正确的价值观，学校也会举办各种活动，如训练营、社区效劳方案、义卖会、外国短期进修方案等。

今天就为想去新加坡留学的小白们准备扫盲贴主要介绍各年龄段留学新加坡的教育体系一起来看看吧！1. 幼儿教育/学前教育（3-6岁）新加坡的小孩也是从一出生就要和同龄人竞争，3岁懂事到6岁上小学之前需要在幼儿园完成学前教育，培养独立自主能力和英语学习能力。
新加坡幼儿园教育从3岁开始，分为Nursery和Kindergarten两个不同阶段：启蒙班Nursery（小班）：3～4岁幼儿园一年级K1（中班）：4～5岁幼儿园二年级K2（大班）：5～6岁新加坡的幼儿园多数为民间开办，如宗教团体、私人机构、商业机构、社团等，需要在教育部（MOE）注册，由教育部学前教育司直接管辖。
新加坡的幼儿园采用统一教材，双语教学（英语+母语）。
每年4个学期，每学期10周，每周上学5天。
通常来说，政府基金幼儿园的费用为700-900新/月，私立幼儿园为1000-1500新/月不等，更高级的国际幼儿园则需3000新币/月以上。
很多家长为了培养孩子更多技能和兴趣，在幼儿园阶段就会报各种课外补习班，比如画画、跆拳道、英语班等等。
这些都可以在进入有名的小学时加分。
2. 小学教育（6-12岁）新加坡教育法规定：“小学教育的目的是使学生掌握一定水平的英语、数学和母语，按照每个学生的不同能力进行教育。
”从这项规定很明显能看出新加坡教育体系设计的思路——按照学生的个人能力因材施教，也就是“让适合的人做适合的事”。
新加坡的小学教育从6岁开始，一共6年，采取的是半天制教学。
虽然小学生只需要在学校上半天课，但是为了从激烈的竞争中脱颖而出，课外还会一直参加各种补习班，否则就会被别人甩在后面。
这6年可以分成两个阶段：小一到小四的基础阶段；小五小六的定向阶段。
基础阶段的重点是基本的读写能力与计算机技能，核心课程是英语、母语和数学三门，占用80%的学习时间。

宜居城市中心由新加坡国家发展部和环境水利部于2008年联合成立。
次年，其与市区重建局联合设立了被喻为城市规划界诺贝尔奖的“李光耀世界城市奖”。
