1.教学内容

新课标小学英语第六册Module5 Unit1 It’s big and light.

2教学目标

1 )语言知识目标:学会heavy, light,broken, pocket等单词,并会使用。学会用英语描述事物的特征。初步感知句型It’s big and light.

2).语言技能目标;

运用所学过的形容词,能用 It’s big and light.等句型来描述事物的特征。

3) 情感态度目标;

有兴趣听说英语,做游戏,乐于开口,敢于模仿

4)学习策略目标;

积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务,积极运用It’s big and light.等句型进行对话交流,能根据录音模仿听说英语。

3教学重点难点

1.掌握单词:light broken heavy pocket

2.新授句型:It’s big and light. It’s got two pockets.

3 难点:学会用英语描述事物的特征。

4教学准备:

教师单词教学卡片,课件,包(2个),彩色卡片, 破洞的纸,断的尺子, 字典 5教材分析;

本课要解决的主要知识点是“It’s big and light”和 “It’s be easy

for you”两个句型。并通过一系列的课堂活动,创设语境巩固、运用着两个句型。

6 教学过程 :

StepⅠ Warming up

1. Greeting

T: hello! Boys and girls!

S: hello! Mrs Guo.

T: look at the screen, what a beautiful picture! There is a rainbow.

There are some colors of a rainbow. Ok. Let’s say something about

colors.(利用颜色卡片复习颜色单词)(评价)

2. Chant

T: OK! Wonderful! The rainbow is long. (带领学生说一遍)The tree is

tall. (带领学生说一遍)let’s say a chant and do the actions with the

music. For example, I say big, you say small. Ok? Let’s go.

课件背景音乐

T: I say big. big. big. I say small. Small. small.

设计意图:活跃课堂气氛为学生创设英语学习的情景,把学生带入热烈的学习氛围中,让学生在课一开始就动起来,有效地复习了形容词和颜色单词,同时有意地渗透用形容词来描述事物,让学生对于本课学习的重点初步感知,为下面的学习做铺垫,学习单词easy, light.

StepⅡ Leading in (guessing game)

T: OK. Stop! You all did a good job. I am very happy too. Look at

the screen. What’s this? Can you guess? (先猜yellow desk , 再猜

green pencil.)

T: The last one. What’s this?

S: It’s a bag.

T: that’s right! What color is it? It’s a red bag.

T: Very good. Look carefully, what’s the matter with the bag?

S:

T: It’s broken. (音标教学法教学broken,单词卡片先读四遍,请一排学生朗读,{评价})

T:点击课件出示 It is broken .(课件)齐读

T: 出现实物(一张破洞的纸,一把断的尺子)it’s broken.(要求学生一起说出来)

T: 板书 broken (要求学生进行拼读,写完后齐读一遍)

设计意图:创设英语学习情景,通过图片学习新单词,形象易懂,直接导入,简单明了切入本课的对话背景。

StepⅢ Presentation

1)listen to the text (the first time) T: Ling ling’s bag is broken too. She will go back to China. Mrs.

Smart will buy a new bag for her. Let’s have a look. (课件出示)Next

listen to the text then answer the following questions:

1. How many bags did they see?

2. What color are the bags?

2) Check the answer

T: OK. Good! You all listen carefully! Let’s check the answers. Look

at question 1. Where did they go? (如不清楚用中文解释)you can say

it in Chinese.

T: Department store. (简单教学Department store,齐读两遍 用图片展示)

En. Mrs. Smart and Ling ling went to the Department store buy a new

bag. Questions 2 how many bags did they see?

S:

T: What colors are they bags?

T: They are (用课文的图表示三个包,the black bag ,the green bag, the

blue bag)

3) Learn the words pocket

T: Look at this green bag. (点击课件出示包上两个口袋)what’s this ?

T: pocket (课件出示单词pocket)出示单词卡片,音标教学法(四遍)

(指着身上的衣服说,one pocket two pockets 动作慢 语言清晰)

T: Count your pockets请3-4个学生说one pocket two pockets T: (教师指着自己身上的衣服说)It’s got two pockets. 点击课件出示(It’s got two pockets.)

5)listen and repeat

T :(课件出示)listen and repeat the text then answer the following

question.

1. Which bag does ling ling choose?

2. Why?

6) Check the answer

T: Which bag does ling ling choose? (课件出示答案,用图片表示,ABC三个选项)

S:

T: Why? (用中文解释为什么?)

S:

T: Look at the screen. The green bag is small. The black bag is big.

The blue bag is big too. But the black bag is heavy. (课件出示it’s heavy) The blue bag is big and light. It’ll easy for ling ling.

设计意图:问题的提出,能有效地检查对课文内容的理解。图片的演示能清晰地使学生对课文的内容再次地梳理,让学生直观地感受到heavy and

light 这对相对应的词,,有效地初步感知It’ll be easy for you这个句型。 StepⅣ Practice

1.look at some pictures and say sentences.

出示图片练习说句子,

Eg; The yellow pencils are broken .

The blue pencils are new .

练习描述身边的物品。

2. choose one or two bags for some students.为山区的小朋友们选书包献爱心,并用英语描述一下你选中的书包。

设计意图:语言的学习最终要达到能运用于生活交际的作用,整个操练和拓展环节能够充分联系了生活实际,实现“学中用,用中学”的教学理念。练习的方式既有个人也有全班性的两人小组合作,既有口语的表达也有书写练习,方式多样丰富,让学生在用英语交流合作中体验了自主学习、乐于学习,带来的成功喜悦感。

课后反思:

教学方法是决定课堂教学成败的关键。为提高教学效率, 我主要采用游戏活动法进行目标语言的练习与巩固,以合作促进学生之间的互助与交流,以听说训练法培养学生的听力及纠正学生的发音,初步培养学生的语感。

以这三种方法加上直观教学法,让学生将抽象的单词与形象的动作,神态,图片及实物相结合来学习单词及语句。始终以游戏贯穿始末,其它方法与其相辅相承,实现了教学目标。

本节课的教学内容和教学目标是:帮助学生学会使用相关形容词(heavy,

light,broken…)以及运用句型“It’s big and light. It’ll be easy

for you.”开展交流,表达情感和意见。这节课我主要从以下几方面设计:

1.在教学中培养学生交流、合作、互助及自主学习的能力。因此,本节课,我给学生提供一分钟的小组讨论与交流的时间,这体现了小组合作学习的新课程理念。学生对身边的事物特别感兴趣,举手的同学特别多,课堂气氛特别活跃。

2.深化教学内容,让学生学会运用知识。在教学的最后,考虑到如何让学生能更主动、更好地运用本课的语言,所以,我将知识编成了一首琅琅上口的儿歌。

3.这节课从导入和热身开始就有意识地引入和练习了部分形容词。如通过歌曲及游戏带领学生说“fat, thin, cute, big,long, short, …”。因此,我的整节课都围绕这些形容词展开。
