黑布林英语阅读Gulliver’s Travels教学设计1.文本解读本书是上海外语教育出版社出版的《黑布林英语阅读》初三年级系列，全书约为2.2万词。

（1）[What]本书的主题是“人与社会”，展现了主人公Gulliver在小人国、巨人国、浮岛国、慧马国等一系列虚构的国家所发生的离奇经历，映射了英国当时的社会现实。

（3）[How]黑布林版《格列佛游记》一书共有15个章节，本节课所讲述的巨人国的故事涉及到本书第六、七、八、九四个章节。

其中第六、七章是故事的开端和发展阶段，介绍Gulliver由于海上暴风雨误入巨人国，被一位农民带回家，与农民九岁的女儿结下深厚的友谊，但却被农民当做赚钱的工具。

第八章是故事的高潮，介绍Gulliver而后又被带入皇宫，沦为皇室的宠物，但他又与国王的政见不同。

第九章为故事的结局，讲述Gulliver从巨人国逃离。

作者文笔朴素简练，主要运用一般过去式，用第一人称的口吻展开叙述，向读者娓娓道来，用My dear reader, you can imagine, you may think这样的语言拉近作者和读者的关系，令读者平添亲切感，也增加了故事的可信度，还有利于读者体会人物情绪，引起共鸣。
