1. How is college different to high school?
There’s a big different between high school and college in spare time. In high school, I had little spare time. I studied all the time. Doing the exercise all the time. I couldn’t do things what I like. All the things I was forced to do are to prepare for the college entrance examination. But in the college, I have much spare time. College life is colorful. There’re many activities for us to take part in. I can read books what I like in the library.
In addition, studying in college is much different from that at high school. We study in college is to promote accomplishment, to prepare for the future job. Last but no least, we live in school’s dormitory in college with classmates.
2.Have you ever had, or would you like to have, a pet?
Yes. I had a dog. Dogs are lovely and they are the friends of our human beings. Keeping dogs would be a method to take care of the disabled in some families. Moreover, dogs could guard our house, and they could company with us .
3.How does your family usually celebrate Chinese New Year?
During the spring festival, we use red lantern and Spring Festival couplets decorate our house. People usually put on all kinds of new clothes. We are all together eat delicious food with relations. The children are looking forward to receiving red envelope money, and together playing the fireworks. And CCTV will held the Spring Festival Gala Evening.
4.Have computers improved our lives?
Yes. Computers has become a necessary part of our life. People work with computer, study with computer and play with computer. It is manifest that computers improved our life so much. Firstly, by using computer, we could chat with our friends who are far away from us. We could send e-mail to each other. It makes our life much more convenient. Secondly, we can buy everything what we want at computer.
Thirdly ,because of the Internet, we get information more immediately.
5.What motivates you to study?
I want to study because study can rich my knowledge. By reading, I can know a
lot. I’d like to get some preparations for my near future, I’d like to live a better life with a good job and an acceptable salary, Iwant to have a cozy dwelling in a city what I like. So I study hard because it’s now a way for all above things within my reach.
6.What do you like about China?
I think China is great. I like Chinese culture, Chinese food and Chinese people. Firstly, Chinese culture told me to have humilityand be moderate. That’s very useful in modern times.Our ancestors taught us keep learning something from others all the times.
Secondly, I enjoy Chinese food every much. There’s a hit documentary named a bite of China shows the delicious food around China, which makes my mouth watered every time when I watch it.
Finally, I really enjoy be with Chinese people, though everyone may have some kind of shortages. Most of Chinese people are friendly, caring, helping.
7.Would you like to own a car? Why or why not?
Actually, I don’t want to own a car .First, once buying a car, I will devote unlimited m oney to it. Next, for our country, the car will release the air pollutant doing harm to th e environment .What’s more, driving cars
sometimes is dangerous. If inconvenient, we can take a taxi for a change.
8.In your opinion, what qualities are important in a friend?
In my opinion, friend is someone who would accept me as what I am and who I am. None of us is perfect as we are human beings not angels. So friend is the one who accept me as it is, point out my weak points and also help me to improve them.
The important thing is, he or she should be honest. I hate people lie to me, I think it’s essential for friends to communicate with honest. Should rich people help poor people?
9.Should rich people help poor people?
yes，they should. Because it is our tradition that we should help others who are in trouble. The rich should try to give money to the poor by face to face instead of raising their money for some charities. Or they can just open some schools in the poor area to provide them a better education.
10.Who was your favorite teacher in high school, and why?
My favorite teacher is my Chinese teacher, Mr. Lui. She is a middle-aged woman .Unlike other teachers, she can not only teach us the necessary knowledge, but also tells us how to conduct ourselves in society and care us so much. Till now , I sometimes go back to the school to see she ,and talk with she about what happened to me.
11.When did you last go on a holiday? What was it like?
On the last summer vacation, I went to Xiamen with some of my friends.
We went there for rest and relaxing myself.
It is a beautiful place with blue sky, white cloud and blue sea. We went to Gulangyu. It is really a beautiful place. We blew sea wind, and relax ourselves.
The trip was so interesting.
