死亡诗社400字观后感英文Watching "Dead Poets Society" was a powerful experience. The movie captured the essence of youth, rebellion, and the search for meaning in life. The way the students were inspired by their unconventional teacher, Mr. Keating, was inspiring. He encouraged them to think outside the box, to express themselves freely, and to embrace their unique individuality. One moment that stood out was when the students stoodon their desks and looked out the window. It was a simpleyet profound act that symbolized their breaking free from the constraints of society and embracing their inner voice. That scene was a reminder to always stay true to oneself. The movie also tackled the topic of conformity and rebellion. Many of the students faced pressure to conformto their parents' expectations and societal norms. However, Mr. Keating taught them that it's okay to be different, to question authority, and to follow their own path.Overall, "Dead Poets Society" is a moving film that resonates with anyone who has ever felt constrained by society or their surroundings. It encourages us to be brave, to speak our minds, and to live life with passion and purpose.。

死亡诗社英语观后感死亡诗社英语观后感篇一:死亡诗社观后感 (Dead poets society about it)The movie is one of the most wonderful films I haveever watched. To be honest,I finished the film with tears. When the boys stood on the desks one by one,and shouted:"Oh, Captain, my Captain."I could not help crying. It was really touching my heart. The story happened in a school which had 4 pillars----Tradition,Honor,Discipline,excellence.Mr Keating,a new teacher who wanted to change the way in teaching. He told his studentsto do what they like to do and to enjoy themselves;to do thingsnot just obey the books, but to look at some-thing in anotherway,to consider own their minds and find new ground. With thefluence of Mr Keating, some of his students founded their own "dead poet society".Neil came to stage to do what he liked to do without hisfather's agreement, for his father do not allow him to act.Tod told the girl who had boyfriend that he loved her so much, and wrote her a poet. They did what they liked to do, and they were happy. But other teachers and students' parents were not happy about that, exspecially Neil's father. When he found his son went to act a buffoonwithout his agreement, he was so angry. He wanted Neil totransfer to another school, for he thought it was Mr Keating'sfault. But, Neil didn't want to. Then, one night, Neil killedhimself. Neil died. Mr Keating became the one to be blame. And he was fired. Before he was leaving, he smailed. Because heknew his students imbeded his mind deeply into their thoughts. That's worth it!"Poetry, beauty, romance and love, these are what we staylive for", yes, we are just a person, not a product. We live on the earth with our own passion. Without do what we like to do, I perfer I have never lived. So, Neil choose to die. Neil wasnot born to be a doctor as his father thought, he like acting. He killed himself in the end, in fact, it's his father killedhim. Just like the actor's lines in the 3 Idiots:"It's notsuicide, it's murdered". Parents regarded the school as heaven, but to the students, it's hell. Parents always think things usetheir own minds. They never think for their chindren: Are they like it? what they like to do? They always think that become adoctor or engineer will be much honour. They never considerthat their children might be not like it. They just know thatbecome a doctor or engineer will earn a lot of money and have agood life. They always think they are right. But, sometimes, they are wrong. Absolutely wrong!Mr keating, the captain, who wanted to change theeduation system of the school and change the mind ofparents, but failed. For me,I think he did not.I think it will come true one day, also in my conutry. It is a valuable moive for us to watch, and to learn.篇二:死亡诗社观后感(Dead poets society about it)Is Mr. Keating a good teacher? Frankly speaking, I am not sure about the answer this time. Before the movie started, I thought it’s easy to answer, because I had watched it twice in recent years.I believe that most of us, have taken Mr. Keating as a hero of freedom, a warrior against conservatism and a romantic with hope and enthusia sm. So it’s needless to say that I was inspired and convulsed again, but at the same time, which is different from the former, I felt sad and frustrated without rhyme or reason, and in the end of the movie I can’t help sobbing and feeling awful in some sen se because I’m not familiar with the others and after all I’m a man and most of all, an adult. All of these bad moods make me feel that Mr. Keating is not a good teacher, although he is a good person, an excellent poet and a brilliant ideologist. He succeeded in evoking the original sensation to freedom, individuality and love not only of most of the students in the WALE? School, but also of most of us, but the costs are tremendous, which are already out of his control and even some of which are out of his imagination. Kick lost his life, Nowanda lost his future and Keating lost his career, his favorite career, maybe his confidence and happiness were taken away together, and I lost my former position, which made me realized that I am not better than the headmaster. He and I are birds of a feather flock together, which really made me feel pathetic and helpless.I don’t know when it happened, that I got used to living in tradition and discipline, which I still believe can bring me safety and a bright future. I really want to “Yawp” together with Anderson and walk my own steps, taking the road of life as my own courtyard, even though Mr. Keating is Mr. Cheating or Mr. Kidding. After all, he helped us enjoy a scene of movement, which is in a powerful and unconstrained style. It is paradoxical that I love the progress and hate the end.。
死亡诗社观后感中英文Who are you? What are you doing? What do you want? Many of us are losing ourselves because of the reality, frustration, the pressure or the authority. In fact, we are just like a chess, for others have arranged all for you. We spend a lot of time in t hose things we do not like. However, we are immature. We choose sil ence or choose to force ourselves to like it. We ourselves never da re to say "NO" loud, or never master our life in our hand. Perhaps, you will defend for yourself, "This is no other way todo "; Perhaps you will say, "Now that everything looks the same, ca n I be unique ";Perhaps you will say, "This is the reality, and no one can beat it"; perhaps, very likely, you will become one of them and establish the authority of parents to educate your childre n. You have become a loyal defender of authority. There is an old golden Chinese saying: No one can exist who resists me However, all in all, cannot it change?《Dead Poets Society》tells me that nothing is impossible. At that time, nothing is more important than yielding. What you have to do is to obey discipline and authority. To Rebel means no good results. In that old church s chool, in the solemn opening ceremony, taught by anold-fashioned and strict teacher, with the hope of the parents who h ave paved the road for them, they lose themselves. That "Tradition”"honor" "discipline "" excellence " quells them.“Oh, captain, my captain! Where are you?”Fortunately, they met wit h Mr Keating. To help more young people to find his own, Mr Keating choseteachin g.He taught students to live. Students set up "Dead Poets Society" to release themselves. He taught students not to blindly comply with authority. He asked ea ch one to tear up the wrong page that others take as authority. He encouraged the students to listen to the sound of heart. Then Knox read love poems to a girl, expressed his love bravely. He encouraged the students to see the world with a new vision. He let everyone stand on a chair to watch the world. He helped students overcome psychological barriers. And then Todd fina lly dared to express himself in front of everyone. Also, finally, It was he who first stood up and told the truth.Oh, captain, my captain. We are so lucky to have you. Because of you, we lead a new life from now on.Sad with the death of Neil. Neil put off all the clothes before th esuicide and went away, naked, which meant he did not want to be under restraint. Neil's death is a tragedy. However, to win the war, something must be sacrificed. I was impressed by the scene. Finally, students stood one by one on the desk to speak for Mr. Keating. Though Mr. Keating would not be back again, his impact on students will exist forever. I think that their life will certainly become unusual and significant from now on.At last, I want to dedicate some words to you. It is when Mr Keating led the students to find the meaning of life when reading Thoreau's poetry:I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, I wantedto live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, and not whenI had come to die, discovered that I had not lived.Carpe Diem!To me,seize all to find out the meaning of life and one day the world will be different because of you.《死亡诗社》你是谁?你在做什么?你想要什么?我们中的许多人正在失去自己的现实,沮丧,压力或权威。

Peter Weir's 1989 masterpiece follows a group of students at the prestigious Welton Academy, where they are forced to conform to the rigid expectations of their parents and teachers. However, their new English teacher, the charismatic and unorthodox Mr. Keating, played brilliantly by Robin Williams, ignites a spark of rebellion and individuality within them. One of the film's greatest strengths lies in its ability to capture the essence of teenage angst and the desire to break free from societal constraints. The students, initially driven by a thirst for knowledge and self-expression, form a secret club called the "Dead Poets Society," where they can explore theirpassions for literature and poetry without fear of judgment. It is in these clandestine meetings that they truly come alive, reciting verses with fervor and embracing the ideals of carpe diem –seizing the day and living life to the fullest. The performances in "Dead Poets Society" are nothing short of remarkable. Robin Williams delivers a tour de force as the unconventional Mr. Keating, whose infectious enthusiasm and unwavering belief in the power of poetry inspire his students to question the status quo. His iconic line, "Carpe diem, seize the day, boys, make your lives extraordinary," has become a rallying cry for generations of young people seeking to break free from the shackles of conformity. The film's supporting cast of students is equally impressive, with each character undergoing a profound transformation as they discover their individuality and learn to embrace their unique voices. From the shy and introspective Todd Anderson (Ethan Hawke) to the rebellious and free-spirited Neil Perry (Robert Sean Leonard), each student's journey is a poignant reflection of the struggles and triumphs of adolescence. However, "Dead Poets Society" is not merely acoming-of-age tale; it is a powerful commentary on the importance of nurturing creativity, independent thought, andthe pursuit of personal fulfillment. The film's tragic climax serves as a harsh reminder of the consequences of suppressing one's true self, and the need for a educational system that encourages self-expression and individuality. In the end, "Dead Poets Society" is a timeless classic that transcends its era and speaks to the universal human experience. It is a poetic ode to the power of literature, the importance of non-conformity, and the enduring spirit of youth. As a student, I am forever grateful for this film's ability to inspire, challenge, and remind us all to seize the day and make our lives extraordinary.篇3When I first watched "Dead Poets Society," it struck a chord deep within me. Mr. Keating's passion for poetry and love of life were contagious, inspiring me to seize the day and live life to the fullest. His teachings challenged the rigid conformity of the elite Welton Academy, urging us students to think for ourselves and embrace our individuality. Although the film had a tragic end, Keating's impact on his students was profound and long-lasting. This film reminded me that the most important lessons aren't always found in textbooks, but in the way we approach life itself. "Carpe diem" has become my personal mantra, a daily reminder to make the most of every moment."O Captain! My Captain!" – The powerful words from Walt Whitman's poem echoed through the halls of Welton Academy, igniting a spark of rebellion and free-thinking among the students. "Dead Poets Society," a cinematic masterpiece directed by Peter Weir, is a poignant exploration of the transformative power of literature, the importance of individual expression, and the enduring impact of a truly inspirational teacher. At the heart of this film is John Keating, played by the remarkable Robin Williams, a newly appointed English teacher at the prestigious Welton Academy. From the moment he steps into the classroom, Keating challenges the traditional, conformist teachings that have governed the school for decades. With his unconventional methods and unwavering passion for poetry, he encourages his students to think independently, to question the status quo, and to embrace the richness of life.Keating's teachings resonate deeply with a group of students who form the titular "Dead Poets Society," a secret club dedicated to the appreciation of literature and the pursuit of intellectual freedom. Together, they gather in a secluded cave, where they read and discuss the works of great poets, allowing the words to ignite their souls and awaken their spirits.Through Keating's guidance, the students begin to shed the shackles of conformity and embrace their individuality. Neil Perry, a shy and reserved young man, discovers his true passion for acting, defying his father's authoritarian demands and pursuing his dreams. Todd Anderson, a timid and introverted student, finds his voice and learns to express himself with confidence. And Knox Overstreet, a romantic at heart, summons the courage to pursue the girl of his dreams, breaking free from societal expectations. However, the film is not merely a celebration of nonconformity; it also serves as a powerful commentary on the dangers of stifling individuality and the consequences of blind obedience. The tension between Keating's progressive ideals and the traditional values upheld by the Welton administration builds throughout the narrative, culminating in a tragic event that forces the students to confront the harsh realities of their world. The film's climax is a poignant and heartbreaking moment, as the students bid farewell to their beloved teacher, standing on their desks and defiantly declaring their unwavering respect for him. This powerful scene encapsulates the profound impact Keating had on his students, inspiring them to embrace theirindividuality and never surrender their passions to the demands of conformity."Dead Poets Society" is a cinematic masterpiece that transcends its era, resonating with audiences of all generations. Its themes of self-expression, intellectual freedom, and the power of literature to transform lives remain as relevant today as they were when the film was released in 1989.Through its captivating storytelling, rich characters, and powerful performances, the film invites us to embark on a journey of self-discovery, to question the status quo, and to embrace the beauty and richness of life. It is a poignant reminder that true education extends far beyond the confines of a classroom, and that the most profound lessons are often found in the pursuit of passion, individuality, and the unwavering belief in one's dreams."Carpe diem," Keating's resounding mantra, echoes through the ages, serving as a rallying cry for all those who dare to seize the day and live life to the fullest. "Dead Poets Society" is a timeless masterpiece that will continue to inspire generations of students, reminding them to never surrender their individuality, to embrace the power of literature, and to always, always, seize the day.。
《死亡诗社》观后感英文版五篇电影《死亡诗社》观后感英文版<一>There are certain films that can heavily shock your soul, then elicit your thinking, and finally change your life. No doubt Dead Poets Society is one of these infrequent films. It is a film about a teacher and his students. It is a film about perseverance and change. It is a film about love and cruelty. The film is set in the United States in 1959. It shows us a series of things which happened to Mr.Keating and the young boys in Wilton Preparatory School.Mr.John Keating is certainly the main character of this film. He is a respectable teacher with a high self-cultivation. He has an advanced conception which is different from tranditional educatin. The other two main characters are Neil, a boy who is keen on performing, and Todd, a boy with a little shyness. From Todd, I see how a boy grows into a man.The film starts with the opening ceremony of Wilton Preparatory School. Todd, a shy boy, starts his school life with his roommate, Neil. On the first lesson, their taecher, Mr.Keating, just told them ‘Seize the day, make your life extraordinary’. He reads Whitman’s poet Oh Captain! My Captain. He taught the students to swim against the steam and to be themselves but not to perform. Students regard Mr.Keating as a different teacher.Neil rebuilds the ‘Dead Poets Society’. The menbers fall in love with poets, as well as Todd. When Mr.Keating asks students to try writing a poem, Todd has no idea. Mr.Keating is quite angry. With Mr.Keating’s stimulation, the youngster first time shows great talent, reading his own poem loudly. On the evening of Todd’s birthday, he talks about hisbirthday present which is the same every year and his brother ,who is so excellent that makes him feel inferior, with Neil, with sadness and a little self-mockery on his face. Neil encourages him a lot. Finally, T odd breaks up the disgusting present. Todd smiles to Neil, from the bottom of his heart.Neil has a sading ending. After performing on the stage, Neil’s father takes him home and warns him again. He just wants his son to be a doctor. Feeling despairing, in the midmight, Neil commits suicide with a gun. Both Neil’s parents and the school think that Mr.Keating is the only reason for Ne il’s death and decide to fire him. A second before Mr.Keating leaves the classroom, Todd stands up on the desk for his captain, with the menbers of Dead Poets Society followed. At that time, Todd throws out his recreance and becomes a real man. That is the end of this film. I have to say that Neil’s death is a certain event, whether there is a ‘John Keating’ or not. It is not hard to see the long distance between ideality and reality. What Mr.Keating said and taught just strengthens the conflict between Nei l’s heart and traditional conception. Neil despairs, but Todd doesn’t. We can see that Todd learns a lot from Neil and Mr.Keating, such as optimist, perseverance, courage and many other qualities which he doesn’t have before. So he stands up, and dares to shout what he thinks.I love the boy named Todd and his growth. I love the teacher called Captain and his freedom. I love the beauty of dream, as well as the cruelty of reality. The film is not only a profound story but also a sincere advice. Seize the day, make your life extraodinary. We just need to be ourselves and grow up step by step, with a clear conscience and a tenacious spirit, like a boy grows into a man.电影《死亡诗社》观后感英文版<二>The movie is one of the most wonderful films I haveever watched.T o be honest,I finished the film with tears. When the boys stood on the desks one by one,and shouted:"Oh, Captain, my Captain."I could not help crying. However, every time I mention this film, I have to answer most people's quizzical looks with “It's a beautiful little 80s film that stayed in the 80s.” After seeing it for the 24th time since I first saw it 5 years ago, on my 13th birthday, I can gladly say that this movie went far and beyond the 80s, and the power and inspiration of the message can be felt every day.Dead Poets Society is a most underrated film by a most underrated director whose inspiring, uplifting and moral tales firmly grounded in reality are not nearly as appreciated as they should be. Here, we see one of his very personal and cradled projects, and he shows the visual style and concentration on characters in which he is so affluent. His control of the camera and the characters are very strong and very smooth. The cinematography is near perfect, with every shot, along with the editing, seamless. Also very compelling are the color-tones in every scene, perfectly matching the mood and events of the scene. Could you say this is art? Absolutely. Then we have the performances. Robin Williams continues in stride as one who has to-date remained the most touching, heart-wrenching, awe-inspiring comedians with inarguable acting talent (he still remains my most favorite performer on the film screen)。
死亡诗社观后感英语作文1The film "Dead Poets Society" has left an indelible mark on my mind, provoking profound thoughts about the educational system and individual pursuits. In the movie, the protagonist's struggle and rebellion against the traditional educational pressure are palpable. Trapped within the confines of strict rules and expectations, he yearns for freedom of expression and the exploration of his true passions. His resistance is not only a cry for personal liberation but also a mirror reflecting the flaws of an inflexible educational framework. The teacher's unique educational approach is a refreshing contrast. By encouraging students to think independently, appreciate poetry, and embrace their inner voices, he ignites the spark of creativity and self-awareness in them. This serves as a powerful reminder that education should not be about rote learning but about nurturing the spirit and fostering individuality. When comparing the growth paths of different students, it becomes evident how education can shape their destinies. Some students conform to the established norms, while others dare to break free and follow their hearts. This variance showcases the diverse impacts of educationalmethods on individual development. In conclusion, "Dead Poets Society" compels us to question the status quo of education and to strive for an environment that allows students to blossom into their fullest selves. It emphasizes the importance of balancing discipline with inspiration, and of providing the space for students to discover and pursue their own passions. Only in such an educational setting can true growth and self-actualization occur.2"Dead Poets Society" is a film that leaves a profound impact on the viewer's mind. It presents a powerful exploration of freedom, dreams, and courage. In the movie, one character, Neil Perry, stands out as a symbol of the struggle for one's dreams against all odds. Despite the strict expectations and restrictions imposed by his parents and the school, Neil's passion for acting burns bright. He bravely steps out of the boundaries set for him, showing an unwavering determination to pursue his artistic dream. His story serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of following one's heart and having the courage to break free from societal constraints. The film also showcases how poetry becomes a medium to ignite the students' inner passion and longing for the future. The recitation of poems in the cave creates a sense of liberation and inspiration among the students. It allows them to express their innermost thoughts and emotions, awakening a spirit of rebellion against the mundane and oppressive educational system. The message of "Dead Poets Society" is clear: Freedom is not something to be taken for granted, but a precious commodity that requires constant fight and assertion. Dreams are the guiding stars that lead us through the darkness of uncertainty, and courage is the fuel that propels us forward on the path to achieving them. This film serves as a call to arms for all of us to embrace our true selves, to have the audacity to dream big, and to stand up for what we believe in, no matter the obstacles that lie in our way.3The film "Dead Poets Society" has left a profound impression on me, provoking deep thoughts about the current state of modern education. In the movie, the unconventional teaching methods employed by the protagonist Mr. Keating were both innovative and somewhat limited. The innovation lay in his encouragement of students to think independently, express their emotions freely, and pursue their passions. However, the limitations were evident when these actions collided with the strict school rules and traditional educational concepts. One of the significant issues raised in the film is how to balance the rules within educational institutions and the individuality of students. Rules are necessary for maintaining order and discipline, but when they suppressstudents' creativity and unique thinking, they become a hindrance. In reality, educators should strive to find a middle ground, allowing students to develop within a framework while also giving them the space to explore and express their true selves.Furthermore, the film emphasizes the importance of cultivating students' independent thinking and creativity. In modern education, often dominated by rote learning and standardized tests, students' ability to think critically and create is overlooked. To address this, educational systems should incorporate more activities that encourage students to question, explore, and come up with original ideas. This could involve project-based learning, discussions, and real-world problem-solving tasks. In conclusion, "Dead Poets Society" serves as a powerful reminder that education should not merely be about imparting knowledge but also nurturing the souls and minds of students, enabling them to grow into independent, creative, and passionate individuals.4"Dead Poets Society" is a thought-provoking film that presents a profound exploration of the conflicts between education and societal values. In the movie, the parents' unyielding insistence on their children's future plans starkly contrasts with the educational philosophy of the school. They have a fixed notion of success, often forcing their children into paths that they deem right, without considering the children's true passions anddesires. This reflects a common phenomenon in society where the definition of success and happiness is often narrow and one-dimensional.The societal pressure to conform to these predefined notions of achievement has a significant impact on education. It limits the creativity and individuality of students, hindering their potential to pursue their true interests. Just as in the film, the students were initially confined within the boundaries set by traditional education, but under the inspiration of their teacher, they began to break free and seek their own voices. This film reminds us that education should not be a mold that shapes everyone identically. Instead, it should encourage diversity and foster the unique talents and passions of each individual. True education should enable students to think independently, question the status quo, and pursue their own paths to happiness and success, rather than being forced to fit into a predefined mold determined by society. Only by doing so can we cultivate truly fulfilled and creative individuals.5"Dead Poets Society" is a thought-provoking film that leaves a profound impact on viewers, especially when it comes to the significance of education in shaping an individual's personality and influencing their life choices. The characters in the movie undergo remarkable transformations throughout the story. Take Neil Perry, for instance. Initially, he was obedient to his parents' expectations, but his encounter with poetryand the teachings of Mr. Keating sparked a rebellion within him. This newfound passion led him to pursue his dream of acting, a bold move that defied his father's strict plans for his future. However, the tragic outcome of Neil's story also highlights the harsh realities that can arise when one's personal desires clash with societal and parental expectations.Another aspect worth considering is the diverse reactions of different age groups to the educational concepts presented in the film. Younger viewers might be inspired to question conventional norms and follow their hearts, seeing the value of self-expression and creativity. Older audiences, on the other hand, may reflect on past experiences and perhaps regret missed opportunities for personal growth and exploration. The film serves as a powerful reminder that education should not merely consist of rote learning and conforming to established rules. It should encourage critical thinking, individuality, and the pursuit of one's true passions. 观看电影死亡诗社英文观后感范文3篇关于观看电影死亡诗社英文观后感《一》First of all, this is movie is my all-time favorite, out of all the hundreds of films I have seen. However, every time I mention this film, I have to answer most people" s quizzical looks with It" s a beautiful little 80s film that stayed in the 80s. After seeing it for the 24th time since I first saw it 5 years ago, on my 13th birthday, I can gladly say that this movie went far and beyond the 80s, and the power and inspiration of the message can be felt every day.Dead Poets Society is a most underrated film by a most underrated director whose inspiring, uplifting and moral tales firmly grounded in reality are not nearly as appreciated as they should be. Here, we see one of his very personal and cradled projects, and he shows the visual style and concentration on characters in which he is so affluent. His control of the camera and the characters are very b and very smooth.
死亡诗社DeadPoetsSociety观后感第一篇:死亡诗社Dead Poets Society观后感Dead Poets Society is a 1989 American drama film written by Tom Schulman, directed by Peter Weir and starring Robin Williams.Set in 1959 at the fictional elite conservative boarding school Welton Academy, it tells the story of an English teacher who inspires his students through his teaching of poetry. The film Dead Poets Society is a film that explores the idea of “Carpe Diem”(seize the day). It’s about an inspirational, unconventional English teacher and his students at “the best prep school in America” and how he challenges them to question conventional views by such techniques as standing on their desks. It is, of course, inevitable that the brilliant teacher will eventually be fired from the school, and when his students stood on their desks to protest his dismissal, I was so moved. There are some very depressing scenes, but they are very artful, and teach you of appreciation for those brave members of society that dare stand up for their beliefs.I thought T odd Anderson gave a true life twist to the film, Mr.Keating added an element of excitement, and Neil Perry added passion that leaves you mesmerized.I just saw this film in English class, but I immediatly fell in love with it, as I know you will.第二篇:《死亡诗社》观后感美国的片子《死亡诗社》,它的故事发生在1959年的威尔顿预备学院,那是一个扼杀个性的年代,也许我们今天仍处在这个时代中。

死亡诗社英语读后感(中英文版)**English Review: Dead Poets Society**"Dead Poets Society," a thought-provoking novel by NancyH.Kleinbaum, is more than just a story; it"s a philosophical journey into the essence of carpe diem and the struggle against societal conformity.Adapted from the film of the same name, the novel captures the spirit of the movie and extends it into a written narrative that resonates deeply with readers. The plot, set in the conservative environment of a 1950s boarding school, follows a group of students who are inspired by their unconventional English teacher, Mr.Keating, to re-form the "Dead Poets Society" –a secret club where members celebrate life, literature, and individuality. The novel explores themes of self-discovery, the power of words, and the courage to stand up against the status quo.The characters are vividly portrayed, each representing a different aspect of the human psyche. The boys, initially bound by the rigid rules of their school and societal expectations, begin to unfold as they embrace the ideas of Romantic poets and the concept of seizing the day.Mr.Keating"s influence is transformative, challenging the students to question authority and live authentically. The novel"s impact is profound. It prompts readers to reflect on theirown lives and the constraints that society often imposes. It asks whether it is better to live a life of passion and risk, or one of safety and conformity. The story is a reminder that literature and poetry can be a catalyst for change and a vessel for expressing one’s true self.In conclusion, "Dead Poets Society" is not just a narrative about youthful rebellion; it"s a call to arms for all who seek a life of meaning and purpose. It encourages us to break free from the chains of mediocrity and to courageously embrace our own individual "carpe diem."**中文读后感:《死亡诗社》**《死亡诗社》是南希·H·克莱因鲍姆所著的一部发人深省的小说,它不仅仅是一个故事,更是一场关于把握当下、反抗社会同化的哲学之旅。
死亡诗社反思英文作文英文:As a fan of the movie "Dead Poets Society", I have to say that it really made me reflect on a lot of things. The movie has a powerful message about the importance of following your dreams and not conforming to societal expectations. It also emphasizes the need to think for yourself and not just blindly follow authority figures. One of the most impactful scenes for me was when Mr. Keating, the English teacher played by Robin Williams, tells his students to stand on his desk to see the world from a different perspective. This scene really resonated with me because it reminded me that sometimes we need to break free from the norm and look at things in a new way. It's easy to get caught up in the expectations of others, but it's important to remember that we have the power to shape our own lives.Another scene that stuck with me was when Neil Perry, one of the students, decides to pursue his passion foracting despite his father's wishes for him to become a doctor. This ultimately leads to a tragic ending for Neil, but it serves as a powerful reminder that we should never give up on our dreams, no matter what obstacles we may face. The movie also made me think about the role ofeducation in our lives. It's easy to get caught up in the pressures of school and forget to truly learn and grow as individuals. Mr. Keating's unorthodox teaching methods, while controversial, ultimately inspire his students tothink for themselves and pursue their passions.Overall, "Dead Poets Society" has made me reflect onthe importance of living life to the fullest and not being afraid to take risks. It's a reminder that we should always strive to be true to ourselves and not let the expectations of others hold us back.中文:作为《死亡诗社》的影迷,我不得不说这部电影让我对很多事情进行了深刻的反思。

死亡诗社英文影评第一篇:死亡诗社英文影评Life is there for us to enjoy After watching the movie Dead Poets Society, my eyes were full of tears. What could not be removed from my heart is that these young men finally learned the way to look at things from different ways from Mr.Keating.Seize the day, when you notice this point, it is never too late to start to do something. In Welton School, four pillars were set for the students to obey: tradition, hour, discipline, excellence. But what the school leaders performed left them an image as hypocrisy, and the school like a place of hell. Not until the day John Keating came, did they find some new meaning of life.I still remember on Keating's first class, one boy copied every sketch Keating drew on the blackboard, and then was told all that was nonsense.Keating told them to rip off the very page about theory on poetry, which may restrain their free thought about poetry. Then standing on the desk, he showed the young men they could look at things from different angles.“Carpe Diem, seize the day, boys, make your life extraordinary.” In order to make them realize the true meaning of life, Keating disguised as one of the precursors on the picture, whispering to them. When I heard this sentence, I began to think about my own life.Being a senior student faced with graduation, we are pushed to believe that every second is a inseparable part of life to become a step near to success. That is to say, for almost every one of us, to seize the day means to be successful, it is same with me.Not until a piece of news on the Internet shocked me some other day—Kaifu Lee found himself suffering from cancer. In my eyes, he is always positive, ready to give job hunters tips for searching jobs. What'smore, I took for granted that such a person could live a happy and healthy life. The truth is that I was wrong.Hence, I have been reconsidering about life.To pursue success on career is one kind of passion, but life is not only made up of fame and profit, there are many other things for us to do, such as find a job you are interested with. Thus, a task is finished, though you may feel a little tired, you are filled with joy as well.To seize the day, not only means to make full use of time,to become successful, but to live a meaningful life. When we grow old, we will not regret that nothing has been done, and will thank ourselves for the passion we once had.Neil committed suicide when he is forced to obey what his parents had arranged for him.Failed to find the reason, the school leaders believed it is Keating's fault.Keating had to quit the job.Back to the classroom to pack his baggage, the boys could not help to show their respect to Mr.Keating in the way their captain taught them. The young men finally learned how to look at things in different ways, to solve problems in free will. There are certain films that can touch our hearts,Dead Poets Society is such a film which can make us know about how important free will means, and to think over our own life.We could get the same courage when we saw Todd overcome the fear and dared to express his ideas in the front of the class. Finally he told the girl who had boyfriend that he loved her so much, and wrote her a poet.Everyone of us has our inner side, what we lack of is confidence and courage to break out of the traditional ideology and to find a new self.Dead Poets Society was a group of young men John Keating set up when he also attended Welton School.T o John Keating poem is like his life, so he founded a group with his partners in which they could express their ideas.Thoreau said in Walden:”I went to the woods because Iwanted to live deliberately.I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life.To put to rout all that was not life, and not, when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived.“It is good for one like Mr.Keating know what he himself wants to do,same with everyone of us.Whatever the results are, when you do something your heart told you, you will not regret in the future. We are dust, and we will go back to it, so we have precious little time to make a difference. That we have a moral obligation to”seize the day, and make our lives extraordinary".In daily life, being independent in thought is critical in making a society progress gradually. It is what matters most for every one of us, for the nation.Once a person's thought become independent, can he perceive the world actively, and gets to know himself better. As a modern college student, I told myself over and over again that I want to live with a soul, but not one day regret of wasting time all my life.Just as it is said, life is so far to continue, I would rather do something to make myself happy every day than be sad if something bad happened.Life is there for us to search, pack up and be ready to enjoy the sceneries along the roadsides. What is better for us youth is that, our parents and teachers are more open-minded.We are free to do something as we like. This is a democratic era for people to search his soul, to live a better life.Being a part of the human race, you never know what the limit of your potential is.In a democratic society, do as your heart tells you is the process of enjoying life is best way to live a happy life.It is also what Mr.Keating want the young men to do in the film. 第二篇:死亡诗社英文影评Busy living or busy dying--the view after seeing “Dead Poets Society”What does life mean?Life is like poetry.Life is like music.Lifeis ambition.Life is freedom.A person should have confidence and independence, which leads you, inspires you to seek true youth and noble beliefs. In this key school with top graduation rates and a history of more than 100 years, it purports four pillars: tradition, honor, discipline, excellence. But when the students shut the door, the four pillars are turned into: hypocrisy, terror, decadence and impurity. They also give it a name: hell.Mr Keating's existence is a bunch of sunshine but also a dagger. He is their wisest “captain”, the most fearless spirital guide. He brings them to an imprisoned situation step by step. But when the children see light, they also smell death. When we are young, we can chase for lofty ideal and glorious death.Between unromantic living and regretless death, I will always choose the latter because “people are great for dreams”.After seeing the “Dead Poets Society”, I realize the value of living.Life is just a stage for us, not important in itself. What kind of role and content we select on stage is of importance.Whatever drama, poetry, tragedy, drama, mime or opera...Even a hideous mess or an empty-headed can be shining. The principle is: make your choice and pursue it in you life.“I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately.I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life!To put to rout all that was not life. And not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”“O Captain!my Captain!”英师1班吴侃璇 forces competition. This movie is one of the most wonderful films I have ever watched.T o be honest, I finished the film with tears. When the boys were standing on the desks one by one, and calling the leaving teacher: “Oh!Caption, My Caption.” I could not help crying. It was really touching my heart.Campus drama in the history of the screen has been performed many times, do not dare to say all that we get the shock of the soul, but at least let us understand that we can have a diff erent future.“Dead poets society” once again reminds us that everyone of us is the only thing in the world, the most out of the ordinary, also the genius of the one and only.Do we want to do, take the bull by the horns, no pressure, no doubt, fear nothing, brave starts our pace, and shout out our true feelings to the world loudly.“Dead poets society” the story occurred in a school named Wilton college preparatory high school in the last century fifty's.The enrollment rate of good school has one hundred years of history and good reputation. The purpose of school is called the four pillars: tradition, honor, discipline, excellence. When the students shut the door, the four big pillars became: hypocrisy, horror, decadence and filthy. At the same time, the students also gave it a very vivid name: hell.A prologue and lens of depressive manifestations express strong deterrent and confining force of this“ hell” on students', it is like a little heat and emotional color machine, and every students into qualified products processing are consistent. But all of this changed because Keating, the alien teacher.Mr.Keating's first appearance in the school's opening ceremony, with refined and courteous smile, likes a warm easy-going character of middle-aged men. This pair of decep tive appearance contrasts with his series of “shock thecommon customs” performance in sharp contrast color. In Keating’s first class, he led students away from the classroom with a light humming ditty, which discard the classics and rebel against orthodoxy on the surface, but against life.He asked the students to stop the impetuous pace, to face the old yellow photos, to listen to“ card horse Dean” the silent advice, to feel that the time is short and the life is dying.“Captain” led the students one by one to stand on the table and let them look down around. He told them, “Change an angle to have a look the world, you'll find different things.” “Captain” let the students walk around on campus, and do not follow others' pace.Because when you are walking with other people in the behind you will discover how easy obedient is, and how difficult sticking to your own personality is.“Captain” let classmates exercise on the playground with reading poems loudly, because the passion of exercise is most touch to the essence of life. With the influence of Mr Keating, some of his students founded their own “dead poet society”.Neil came to act without his father's agreement.T od told the girl who had boyfriend that he loves her, and wrote a poem for her. They did what they like to do, and they were happy. But other teachers and students' parents were not happy with that, Specially Neil's father. When he found his son went to act a buffoon without asking him, he was so angry. He wanted Neil to transfer the school, for he thought it was Mr Keating's fault. But, Neil didn't want to.Then, that night, Neil killed himself.Neil died.Mr Keating became the one to be blame. And he was fired. Before he left, he smiled.Because he knew his students imbedded his mind deeply into their thoughts. That's enough!“Poetry, beauty, romance, loving these are what we stay live for”, we are just a person, not a product. We live on the earthwith our own passion.Without doing what we like to do, I think I have never lived. So Neil chose to die.In fact, it's his father killed him.Parents regarded this school as heaves, but to the students, it was a hell.Parents always think things using their own minds. They never think for their children: are they like these majors? What are they like to do? They just know that becoming a doctor will be very honor. They never consider that their children are happy or not. They just know that becoming a doctor will earn a lot of money and have a good life. They always think they are right, do well for their children.Actually, they are wrong.Absolutely wrong!Mr Keating, the captain, who wanted to change the education system of the school and change the mind of parents, but failed. But I think it will come true one day.Maybe the life is a kind of torture! As long as you live you have to face everything in life! But this “torture” not only bring you pain!If there is no evil, will you know warmth and happiness? In fact, you could turn a look, maybe you'll find out everything is not so confusing!第四篇:死亡诗社英文影评(推荐)Dead Poets Society After watching Les Choristes, I continued to watch Dead Poets Society.Immediately, I found that both of them had the same theme.I even felt that I didn’t need to spend more time finishing it.At this time, the teacher’s words came to my mind that it was homework for that week which no one could delay, so what I could only choose was to move on.The result proved that my reluctant choice was right.I gradually became moved and couldn’t help shedding tears.Especially, when I watched the last five minutes--the moment the boys standing on the desks one by one called to the leaving teacher “oh, captain, my captain” in the saddest voice, almost no words coulddescribe my true feeling.Although it doesn’t tell us what will happen to Mr.Keating and at the same time it gives us a very big room to imagine with our own thought.Everything is summed up in the few words put over in the scene and Mr.Keating’s final “Thank you, boys.”Yes, the respectful teacher was their captain in their whole life.He interested them in the poets, but in fact in life.It also helped me to see and understand the precious feelings between human beings better.Neil Perry, the hero of the movie, was a fighter to old forces. He was a lovely and clever young man, with good marks ,handsomeappearance.Maybe he was one of the best example of perfect students. He tried to do what he wanted, but his father stopped him.His father asked him to be a surgeon and go to Harvard. If he did as his father ordered ,he may be a famous surgeon and live a simple life. But he couldn’t,because he m et Mr.Keating.He wanted to find his own voice and fly in his own blue sky.At last,he couldn’t bear the pressure from his parents and killed himself in a freezing winter night.Neil’s story proved that how important it is to stand one’s ground no matter how hard it may be.T odd Anderson, another important role in the movie, wrote down “seizing the day”in the first class. At first sight,he was a student who just knew to learn and obeyed whatever his parents told him.He threw his pencil box which his parents gave h im as his birthday present with Neil’s encouragement.Mr.Keating asked and encouraged him to describe what did Hetman look like in his imagination. With the help of Neil and Mr.Keating ,he gradually became a fighter, standing in the opposite of the old forces. After Neil died ,he had to accept his parents’ and the schoolmaster’s authority and was forced to admit that Mr.Keating was the mainreason for Neil’s death. At the end of the movie ,he firstly stood up on his desk to say goodbye to Mr.Keating.Before he stood up,hehad already known what was the result of his action, but he still did as he wanted to.He has been a true fighter then. After seeing this movie,I couldn’t calm down for a long time.It reminded me of my experience from my primary school to my univercity. When I was a child at school,my teachers were very strict to us.In our classroom,we must pretend to be the obedient sheep, not like in Mr.Keating’s class where his boys can be the free wolves. We were told that the answers in the teachers’ hands were standard.I want to ask what on earth is the standard answer.Everything has many aspects.Defferent people, different view, different answers.I think I’m so lucky that my family members have never give me any pressure in my study, but I always feel a kind of invisible pressure behind me.So I always work hard because I want to see the beautiful smile on my parents’ face when they know that I get the best marks. But many of my schoolmates were unlucky comparing with me.They lived an unhappy life because their parents gave them too much pressure that they can’t bear. They were always in sorrow because they would be blamed if they got bad marks. One day,if I have a child,I won’t give him or her any pressure, the one thing I will give him or her is that wings which belonging to them.Let him or her fly freely in his or her own sky.At the same time,I want to tell all the parents all over the world that don’t give too much pressure on your children and let them take their own decision,or you will get nothing. When it comes to here, I have to say that Dead Peots Society is one of my favorite movie I have ever seen.I’m very impressed by many things fromthis movie. Now I want to share my favorite words in this movie.“I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately...I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life!T o put to rout all that was not life...And not when I came to die, discover that I had not lived...”These words definitely moved me and made me think of my favorite quote-seize the day, and make our lives extraordinary.I always believe strongly that if we all really do like this, the world, basically will be ours.As we all know, the only limitations are within ourselves, and we owe it to us to fight, to rebel against conformity, to change what we hate and keep what we love.In fact, living in this world is a beautiful responsibility, and only cowards dare not to change it for the better. The fact that the cast was basically my age, and was passing through the same dilemmas and situations I was facing made it all so much more powerful.I know I haven’t seized the day completely, but I will keep on trying.第五篇:死亡诗社英文影评Dead poets societyThe movie which the first time I heard is recommended by my friend, because the movie is so old that I didn’t want to watch it.But this time my teacher also recommended it, I think it must be a good movie. After watching it, I felt a little sad, not because of its end, but think o us today. There was much to think about in the film, maybe different people have different ideas. The film tells us a story of the U.S.wilton elite school in 1959.it’s a traditional and old fashioned school which like a prison. The ancient bells ushered in new semester and also ushered in a new teacher Keating. He calls himself the captain. The captain like a lighthouse will lead students through the gloom.Inhis classroom, he encouraged his students to stand on the desk, with a new perspective to observe the world around. He introduces many thoughtful poetry to students, even allow students to tear up those dull textbooks. On the other hand they were encouraged to search the beauty and the real life in the poetry.Neil made me the deepest impression, he was fond of poem and the performances, but he was asked to become a doctor;he was the first one to compre hend Keating’s thought, but also he is the first one to reconstruct” Dead Poets Society“.on the stage he found his target, but strict father didn’t care about what he thought.Neil did not want to become a father expect people, but also unable to become a real himself, he chose to end his own life.Todd this closed and timid child, he never dared to show true himself, he was afraid that others evaluate him.Under the guidance of the teacher, he slowly began to bloom his own ideas.Neil's death made him grew up, when Keating was dismissed, he is the first one to stand on the table and shouted: Oh, the captain, my captain!Under his leadership other students also stand on the table, the moment was very impressive.I have learned many things from these two kids, the most difficult is to choose in our life. When reality and the ideal have contradiction, what kind of choice you will make? There will certainly be a gap between in reality and the ideal, but how we should do? The answer is to be the master of life, not the slave of life. When we have goals we should be bold to pursue.Carpe diem.Seize the day, boys.Make your lives extraordinary.Do real ourselves, as the film said, ”I went to the woods because I wanted to the live deliberately.I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life!To put to rout all that was not life. And not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."。
DeadPoetsSociety死亡诗社观后后感英文第一篇:Dead Poets Society死亡诗社观后后感英文Dead Poets Society“Dead poets society” is a very outstanding youth film, the film is directed by Peter Will , tells the story happened in the United States a male university preparatory school story, this school has a long history, but not lose one's vitality, and the youth division.A group of students in the new teacher under the leadership of Keeding, again find the courage to live. The film start personal perception can be divided into two scenes, hall and dormitories. The auditorium is full of youthful spirit show the relationship between the students and a simple traditional old school, is through a new Congress for such an event performance.Youth will be the school survival four pillars-“tradition, honor, discipline, excellence” as “mock, terror, decadent, excretion,” to show their school stodgy ethos and learning atmosphere of discontent.“Dead poets society” is a film of many figures, and have their own characteristics and personality, so everyone has their own orgasm, for example Anderson Knox class poetry, the pursuit to the beloved girl, dead poets club party scene etc..In the climax of the film in the Neal home, is the quarrel with Neal and his father and Dutch act as the main story of Neal. The film selected items is also very clever: Hat represents the ideal, door handles and feet on behalf of protest action, the key and the gun represents the ultimate destruction. This section does not appear in a drop of blood, one surface of the lens, it will show people the destruction of life, the life of Neal light, afford much food for thought. Then, Neal's father's action by China, found that Neal's death is simply to agun, a hand, a wisp of smoke to replace, the climax of the vertex is the last of the upgraded lenses, emotion to the apex, regret will come very naturally out of the show. The core scene at the end is the classroom.Students in order to protect and betrayal, butyl teacher became the scapegoat was dismissed, everything seems calm, but this time the most calm to the outbreak of the most sincere feelings. The end of the film is trying to express is a kind of for the sake of freedom struggle, this is the true meaning of dead poets club, is the essence of poetry.I always thought, “dead poets society” for those who don't understand poetry children opened a door to freedom, though it is only open in the darkness of night.I always believe that, poetry is the operation knife, cut out the idea of tumor, but also refined the long silence of the heart.I just want to say: Okay, the children met butyl teacher in legitimate youth!Fortunately, I met “dead poets society in the pursuit of life”!第二篇:死亡诗社观后心得电影《死亡诗社》是一部关于传统教学和以人为本的反传统教学冲突的影片,很有观看意义。
《死亡诗社》观后感"Dead Poets Society" is a film that has left a profound impact on me, inspiring me to question the norms and seek my own path in life. The film tells the story of a group of students at a prestigious preparatory school, who are introduced to the world of poetry by their unconventional English teacher, John Keating. Through his passionate teaching methods and encouragement, the students begin to question their own beliefs and pursuits, ultimately leading to a tragic outcome. The film starts with the introduction of the strict and conventional headmaster, Nolan, who believes in the rigid structure and discipline of the school. On the other hand, John Keating, the English teacher, enters the scene as a breath of fresh air. He challenges the students to think outside the box, to question everything they are taught, and to embrace their individuality. His passion for poetry and his belief in the power of self-expression inspire the students to explore their own talents and interests. One of the most memorable scenes in the film is when the students are asked to stand on their desks and see theworld from a different perspective. This simple act symbolizes their break from conformity and the beginning of their journey towards self-discovery. Another powerful moment is when Neil Perry, one of the students, performs a poem he has written for his father, who does not approve of his son's passion for acting. Neil's performance is a powerful testament to the power of poetry and self-expression, but it also ends tragically when he commits suicide due to the pressure and expectations of his family and society. The film raises important questions about the role of education and society in shaping individuals. It challenges the idea that success is solely measured by grades and achievements, and encourages us to pursue our passions and dreams. The death of Neil Perry serves as a sobering reminder of the consequences of ignoring one's inner voice and succumbing to external pressures. However, the film also offers a hopeful message through the character of Charlie Dalton. Initially afraid to embrace his love for poetry and afraid to stand up to his abusive father, Charlie transforms throughout the film. Hefinds his voice through poetry and ultimately stands up to his father, choosing to follow his own path. This arc represents the film's central theme of self-discovery and the importance of following one's passion. In conclusion, "Dead Poets Society" is a film that encourages us to question the norms, to embrace our individuality, and to follow our passions. It reminds us that success is not solely measured by external factors, but by the fulfillment and happiness we derive from following our own path. The film's powerful message and emotional storytelling make it a timeless classic that continues to inspire and challenge audiences around the world.**《死亡诗社》观后感**《死亡诗社》是一部对我产生深远影响的电影,它激励我质疑常规,寻找自己的人生道路。
死亡诗社英文影评(英语视听说)[优秀范文五篇]第一篇:死亡诗社英文影评(英语视听说)Film Critics of “Dead Poets Society”What is life? In the movie“ dead poets society”, life is a poem, life is music, drama is most the brilliant chapter;life is ideal, life is free, a person should have full confidence and independence;it will guide you, encourage you, inspire you to death and living the courage to the pursuit of true and noble faith of youth.Dead Poets Society tells about the story of students at the Wilton Academy, which is a famous preparatory school in Vermont. The plot centers on how Mr.Keating, a young and exciting teacher, who is determined to teach his students to live life with absolute passion, tutors his students to challenge the institutions around them.“Captain” led the students station to the table down around four, as he tells us, change an angle to have a look the world, you'll find out different things. Thus odd the brave learned to face, he was aware of the meaning of life.Knox ultimate pursuit to his most loved the girl, he learned that life is wonderful.Neal's dramatic dream in the snowy night successfully staged, his heart with passion and crazy beats, he was like a teacher said, do you really want to do.However , Mr.Keating’ existence is also a dagger. When the childen see light, they also smell death.Neal's rebellion, pale and weak force him to be driven into a corner.Radical teacher Keating was framed with Neal's death, the result is: leave.Children are collective station onto the table, watch their captain. Here, no regret, because children already realized he taught everything! The movie is one of the most wonderful films I have ever watched.T o be honest,I were always thinking that there were few movies orstories that could indeed touch me from the bottom of my heart. We have been limited since we were born. There are a great many rules and judgement around us which we are asked to do everything in accordance with.We all have a great need for acceptance, which lead us to act like all the other people regardless of ideas of our own.But life is short. Each and every one of us is one day going to stop breathing, turn cold and die.We don’t have to perform.Just make it for ourselves.Just like what Mr.Keating tells th e students,we don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute.We read and write poetry because we are members of humen race. And human race is filled with passion.Seize the day.“ Neal can be proud to say:” I lived, I was free to live!“ Neal, you have led us to a revival of” dead poets society“, in the night in the cave, we repeat the poem:” I went to the woods, because I wanted to live a meaningful life, I wanted to live deep, learn the essence of all life.Let's all give up all that was not life, and not when I return to the earth, but I found that I had not lived.“Dead poets society” reminds us, everyone of us is the only thing in the world, is also the most out of the ordinary, the genius of the one and only.Do we want to do, take the bull by the horns, no pressure, no doubt, fear nothing, brave starts our pace.life is a contradictory process, think of it very easily, not easy to be yourself in a real hit.Growth should be full of joy and happiness, but the cruel reality always relentless break our dream wings. The school built high walls, no body warmth, tortured people's social environment, wave after wave will drive us to the abyss of suffering, to accompany our only dark day, there is no dawn sun, cold air, and the pressure on the body of the mountains. If there is no evil, you will know how painful experience the warmth and happiness? Anyhow, just as thefamous sing goes “ When I was alive, I will be the master of life, not be its slave.”第二篇:死亡诗社英文影评Busy living or busy dying--the view after seeing “Dead Poet s Society”What does life mean?Life is like poetry.Life is like music.Life is ambition.Life is freedom.A person should have confidence and independence, which leads you, inspires you to seek true youth and noble beliefs. And not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”“O Captain!my Captain!”英师1班吴侃璇 100111045第三篇:《死亡诗社》英文影评My feelings after watching the film----Dead Poets Society“Dead poets society” is old.It is a film about conservative and innovation, realistic and romantic, new and old two forces competition. This movie is one of the most wonderful films I have ever watched.T o be honest, I finished the film with tears. When the boys were standing on the desks one by one, and calling the leaving teacher: “Oh!Caption, My Caption.” I could not help crying. It was really touching my heart.Campus drama in the history of the screen has been performed many times, do not dare to say all that we get the shock of the soul, but at least let us understand that we can have a different future.“Dead poets society” once again reminds us that everyone of us is the only thing in the world, the most out of the ordinary, also the genius of the one and only.Do we want to do, take the bull by the horns, no pressure, no doubt, fear nothing, brave starts our pace, and shout out our true feelings to the world loudly.“Dead poets society” the story occurred in a school named Wilton college preparatory high school in the last century fifty's.The enrollment rate of good school has one hundred years of history and good reputation. The purpose of school is called the four pillars: tradition, honor, discipline, excellence. When the students shut the door, the four big pillars became: hypocrisy, horror, decadence and filthy. At the same time, the students also gave it a very vivid name: hell.A prologue and lens of depressive manifestations express strong deterrent and confining force of this“ hell” on students', it is like a little heat and emotionalcolor machine, and every students into qualified products processing are consistent. But all of this changed because Keating, the alien teacher.Mr.Keating's first appearance in the school's opening ceremony, with refined and courteous smile, likes a warm easy-going character of middle-aged men. This pair of deceptive appearance contrasts with his series of “shock the common customs” per formance in sharp contrast color. He told them, “Change a n angle to have a look the world, you'll find different things.” “Captain” let the students walk around on campus, and do not follow others' pace.Because when you are walking with other people in the behind you will discover how easy obedient is, and how difficult sticking to your own personality is.“Captain” let classmates exercise on the playground with reading poems loudly, because the passion of exercise is most touch to the essence of life. He wanted Neil to transfer the school, for he thought it was MrKeating's fault. We live on the earth with our own passion.Without doing what we like to do, I think I have never lived. In fact, you could turn a look, maybe you'll find out everything is not so confusing!第四篇:死亡诗社英文影评(推荐)Dead Poets Society After watching Les Choristes, I continued to watch Dead Poets Society.Immediately, I found that both of them had the same theme.I even felt that I didn’t need to spend more time finishing it.At this time, the teacher’s words came to my mind that it was homework for that week which no one coulddelay, so what I could only choose was to move on.The result proved that my reluctant choice was right.I gradually became moved and couldn’t help shedding tears.Especially, when I watched the last five minutes--the moment the boys standing on the desks one by one called to the leaving teacher “oh, captain, my captain” in the saddest voice, almost no words could describe my true feeling.Although it doesn’t tell us what will happen to Mr.Keating and at the same time it gives us a very big room to imagine with our own thought.Everything is summed up in the few words put over in the scene and Mr.Keating’s final “Thank you, boys.”Yes, the respectful teacher was their captain in their whole life.He interested them in the poets, but in fact in life.It also helped me to see and understand the precious feelings between human beings better.Neil Perry, the hero of the movie, was a fighter to old forces. But he couldn’t,because he met Mr.Keating.He wanted to find his own voice and fly in his own blue s ky.At last,he couldn’t bear the pressure from his parents and killed himself in a freezing winter night.Neil’s story proved that how important it is to stand one’s ground no matter how hard it may be.T odd Anderson, another important role in the movie, wrote down “seizing the day”in the first class. At first sight,he was a student who just knew to learn and obeyed whatever his parents told him.He threw his pencil box which his parents gave him as his birthday present with Neil’sencouragement.Mr.Keating asked and encouraged him to describe what did Hetman look like in his imagination. With the help of Neil and Mr.Keating ,he gradually became a fighter, standing in the opposite of the old forces. After Neil died ,he had to accept his parents’ and the schoolmaster’s authority and was forced to admit that Mr.Keating was the main reason for Neil’s death. They were always in so rrow because they would be blamed if they got bad marks. One day,if I have a child,I won’t give him or her any pressure, the one thing I will give him or her is that wings which belonging to them.Lethim or her fly freely in his or her own sky.At the same time,I want to tell all the parents all over the world that don’t give too much pressure on your children and let them take their own decision,or you will get nothing. When it comes to here, I have to say that Dead Peots Society is one of my favorite movie I have ever seen.I’m very impressed by many things from this movie. The fact that the cast was basically my age, and was passing through the same dilemmas and situations I was facing made it all so much more powerful.I know I haven’t seized the day completely, b ut I will keep on trying.第五篇:死亡诗社英文影评Dead poets societyThe movie which the first time I heard is recommended by my friend, because the movie is so old that I didn’t want to watch it.But this time my teacher also recommended it, I think it must be a good movie. After watching it, I felt a little sad, not because of its end, but think o us today. There was much to thinkabout in the film, maybe different people have different ideas. The film tells us a story of the U.S.wilton elite school in 1959.it’s a trad itional and old fashioned school which like a prison. The ancient bells ushered in new semester and also ushered in a new teacher Keating. He calls himself the captain. The captain like a lighthouse will lead students through the gloom. In his classroom, he encouraged his students to stand on the desk, with a new perspective to observe the world around. He introduces many thoughtful poetry to students, even allow students to tear up those dull textbooks. On the other hand they were encouraged to search the beauty and the real life in the poetry.Neil made me the deepest impression, he was fond of poem and the performances, but he was asked to become a doctor;he was the first one to comprehend Keating’s thought, but also he is the first one to reconstruct” Dead Poet s Society“.on the stage he found his target, but strict father didn’t care about what he thought.Neil did not want to become a father expect people, but also unable to become a real himself, he chose to end his own life.Todd this closed and timid child, he never dared to show true himself, he was afraid that others evaluate him.Under the guidance of the teacher, he slowly began to bloom his own ideas.Neil's death made him grew up, when Keating was dismissed, he is the first one to stand on the table and shouted: Oh, the captain, my captain!Under his leadership other students also stand on the table, the moment was very impressive.I have learned many things from these two kids, the most difficult is to choose in our life. When reality and the ideal have contradiction, what kind of choice you will make? There will certainly be a gap between in reality and the ideal, but how we should do? The answer is to be the master of life, not the slave oflife.
Dead Poets SocietyWho are you? What are you doing? What do you want? Many of us are losing ourselves because of the reality, frustration, the pressure or the authority. In fact, we are just like a chess, for others have arranged all for you. We spend a lot of time in those things we do not like. However, we are immature. We choose silen ce or choose to force ourselves to like it. We ourselves never dare to say "NO" loud, or never mast er our life in our hand.Perhaps, you will defend for yourself, "This is no other way todo "; Perhaps you will say, "Now that everything looks the same, can I be unique "; Perhaps you will say, "This is the reality, and no one can beat it"; perhaps, very likely, you will become one of t hem and establish the authority of parents to educate your children. You have become a loyal defe nder of authority. There is an old golden Chinese saying: No one can exist who resists me However, all in all, cannot it change?《Dead Poets Society》tells me that nothing is impossible. At that time, nothing is more important than yielding. What yo u have to do is to obey discipline and authority. To Rebel means no good results. In that old church school, in the solemn opening ceremony, taught by anold-fashioned and strict teacher, with the hope of the parents who have paved the road for them, th ey lose themselves. That "Tradition” "honor" "discipline "" excellence " quells them.“Oh, captain, my captain! Where are you?” Fortunately, they met with Mr Keating. To help more young people to find his own, Mr Keating chose teaching. He taught students to live. Students set up "Dead Poets Society" to release themselves. He taught students not to blindly comply with authority. He asked each one to tear up the wrong p age that others take as authority. He encouraged the students to listen to the sound of heart. Then Knox read love poems to a girl, expressed his love bravely. He encouraged the students to see the world with a new vision. He let everyone stand on a chair to watch the world. He helped students overcome psychological barriers. And then Todd finally dared to express hims elf in front of everyone. Also, finally, It was he who first stood up and told the truth.Oh, captain, my captain. We are so lucky to have you. Because of you, we lead a new life from n ow on.Sad with the death of Neil. Neil put off all the clothes before thesuicide and went away, naked, which meant he did not want to be under restraint. It is when Mr Keating led the students to find the meaning of life when reading Thoreau's poetry:I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, I wanted to live deep and suck out all th e marrow of life, and not when I had come to die, discovered that I had not lived.Carpe Diem! To me,seize all to find out the meaning of life and one day the world will be different because of you. 《死亡诗社》你是谁?你在做什么?你想要什么?我们中的许多人正在失去自己的现实,沮丧,压力或权威。

'Dead Poets Society' is one of the finest movies you'll ever watch. An inspiring, tear-jerky and moving story told in the most strict manner. Filmmaker Peter Weir knows he's a legend, he knows his "Type" of Cinema touches a chord. He has achieved so much.'Dead Poets Society' is the story of every human being. Free-Will, Confidence, Love and Hope... isn't this all we heed for? I sure do, and that's the reason why I weeped in my seat while watching this acclaimed 1989 film. It's a film that brings back your good-old Study Years in you, those moments, aha, life was "WOW" then. Carpe diem, indeed!Peter Weir makes astonishing cinema in 'Dead Poets Society'. Sure, 'The Truman Show' remains as his and cinema's finest film to date. But, let's not forget this came way before 'The Truman Show'. Weir, you are simply an inspiration! The Cinematography is wonderful, so is the editing.Robin Williams delivers a very fine performance. But the show-stealer in here is, Robert Sean Leonard. As a youngster named as Neil Perry, he pitches in an incredible performance from start to end.On the whole, 'Dead Poets Society' has everything working on it's advantage.《死亡诗社》是一个最好的电影你看。
