【英语】英语阅读理解(时文广告)题20套(带答案)及解析一、高中英语阅读理解时文广告类1.Choose the one that fits best according to the information given in the passage you have just read.Once again DC Comics and Warner Bros. have divided fans and critics over their latest superhero film. There had been worrying news about Justice League in the months before its release, with a lot of reshoots of scenes, a new director being brought in to finish the film after original director Zack Snyder's tragic loss of his daughter and, of course, a lot of talk about Ben Affleck's future in the role of Batman. Some people are saying that Justice League is another big disappointment, that it could have been incredible and instead fails to really entertain. Others say that Warner Bros. have finally got it right and that the future for the League looks bright. My opinion lies somewhere in the middle. The film was by no means a disappointment: it was exciting, funny and a lot of fun to watch. There's something special about watching the heroes from your childhood brought to life on the big screen and maybe that is affecting my opinion. However, I will say that a lot of work needs to be done if the producer wants to make a great success. Although the film was good, it was obvious which scenes had been reshot and how the characters had been changed. I also have to mention the several scenes in which the special effects were very badly done; these are the kinds of problems that you don't expect to see in a film with such a big budget.Another point to add is that it is good to see the producer making Superman slightly a brighter character and adding some jokes to the plot to keep things fun. But the producer must be careful not to make the mistake that another film producer—here, not mentioning the name—is coming very close to doing: turning all of the films into bright and colorful shows and losing a lot of seriously good stories. In the end, Justice League is not a perfect film but it is definitely not a terrible one. A lot of work is still to be done but I hope that DC does not completely lose its darker side.(1)Before the release of Justice League, many people showed their ______.A. pity for the director, Zack SnyderB. concern about the film's qualityC. higher expectation of the new directorD. support for the actor, Ben Affleck(2)According to the author, what's special about Justice League?A. It advocates social justice.B. It brings lots of fun to the audience.C. It has some brave heroes.D. It brings back childhood memories.(3)In Paragraph 5 the author mainly wants to express his ______.A. views on the film's weaknessB. advice to the film's directorC. love for the filmD. expectation of the film's sequels(4)The author mentioned another film producer to ______.A. stress the importance of fun in a filmB. show Justice League's lack of a serious plotC. serve as a warning to the producer of Justice LeagueD. set an example for the producer of Justice League【答案】(1)B(2)D(3)A(4)C【解析】【分析】本文是一篇应用文,介绍了作者对《正义联盟》这部电影的看法。

Look for grass snakes in the lake. A snake called ‘Hissing Sid' is regularly seen lying in the heat of the warm sun.Byron's PoolMany stories surround Lord Byron's time as a student of Cambridge University. Arriving in 1805, he wrote a letter complaining that it was a place of "mess and drunkenness". However, it seems as though Byron did manage to pass the time pleasantly enough. I'm not just talking about the pet bear he kept in his rooms. He spent a great deal of time walking in the village. It is also said that on occasion Byron swam naked by moonlight in the lake, which is now known as Byron's Pool. A couple of miles past Grantchester in the south Cambridgeshire countryside, the pool is surrounded by beautiful circular paths around the fields. The cries of invisible birds make the trip a lovely experience and on the way home you can drop into the village for afternoon tea. If you don't trust me, then perhaps you'll take it from Virginia Woolf—over a century after Byron, she reportedly took a trip to swim in the same pool.(1)According to the passage, there is a small charge for ______.A. seeing an exhibitionB. learning life drawingC. working with local artistsD. attending the masters' class(2)"Torch Aloe" and "Venus Flytrap" are ______.A. common insectsB. rarely seen snakesC. impressive plantsD. wildlife-enthusiasts (3)In the passage Byron's Pool is described as a lake ______.A. owned by Lord ByronB. surrounded by fieldsC. located in GrantchesterD. discovered by Virginia Woolf(4)What is the passage mainly about?A. 最新英语阅读理解(时文广告)题20套(带答案)一、高中英语阅读理解时文广告类1.阅读理解If you have never been on a cruise (乘船游览), it can seem like its own world—with its own rules and secret language. So here we are going to lay out the very basics of going on a cruise.Do I need a passport to go on a cruise? You may need a passport, but you should take one anyway. Besides the fact that you are going to need an ID card to board the ship in the first place, a lot of ports require one.How much luggage can I take on board? For the most part, cruise ships aren't like planes—there isn't a strictly regulated amount of luggage you can take with you, and you are not going to be charged for bringing too much. Keep in mind that cabin storage space can be tight. Everything, including your empty luggage, is going to have to fit inside and you don't want to be tripping over it for your whole vacation.Things like guns and knives are banned, but regulations vary from ship to ship about things like irons (generally a no) and hair dryers (generally a yes). Some ships allow you to bring a bottle of wine, but nearly all ban bringing your own hard alcohol. What's the process for boarding a cruise ship?Boarding a cruise ship is like boarding a plane—there are regulations or when to arrive, how to check-in, and what security you have to go through. Most cruise lines have transportation available from the airport; otherwise they normally own a paid parking lot where you can leave your car.(1)What will you have to show when you board a ship in the first place?A.
