1. Six Little Teddy Bears

Six little teddy bears, sleeping in the bed…Three at the foot and three at tht head.

He pulled and he pulled and he pulled some more. Two little teddies went BOOM! on the floor.

Four little teddy bears, sleeping in the bed…Three at the foot and one at the head.

One teddy said, “This bed is too full!”

He grabbed the blanket and started to pull.

He pulled and he pulled and he pulled some more. Two little teddies went BOOM! on the floor.

Two little teddy bears, sleeping in the bed…

One at the foot and three at tht head.

One teddy said, “two is just right!”

Two little teddy bears said, “Good night!”

2. Puppy’s Tail

Why does puppy need a tail?

Fish needs a tail for swimming.

Monkey needs a tail for climbing trees.

Cow needs a tail to swish away files.

Puppy needs a tail for wagging.

He’s very happy to see you!

3. The Big Turnip

An old man grows a big turnip.

It’s very, very big.

He pulls the turnip.

The turnip doesn’t move.

He sees an old woman. “Come and help!”he says. “I’m glad to!”she replies. The woman pulls the man. The man pulls the turnip. The turnip doesn’t move.

They see a boy.

“Come and help!”they say. “I’m glad to!”he replies. The boy pulls the woman. The woman pull the man. The man pulls the turnip. The turnip doesn’t move.

They see a girl.

“Come and help!”they say. “I’m glad to!”she replies. The girl pulls the boy. The boy pulls the woman. The woman pull the man. The man pulls the turnip. The turnip doesn’t move.

They see a dog. “Come and help!”they say. “I’m glad to!”he replies. The dog pulls the girl. The girl pulls the boy. The boy pulls the woman. The woman pull the man. The man pulls the turnip. The turnip doesn’t move.

They see a cat.

“Come and help!”they say. “I’m glad to!”she replies. The cat pulls the dog. The dog pulls the girl. The girl pulls the boy. The boy pulls the woman. The woman pull the man. The man pulls the turnip. The turnip doesn’t move.

They see a little mouse.

“Come and help!”they say.

“I’m glad to!”he replies.

The mouse pulls the cat.

The cat pulls the dog.

The dog pulls the girl.

The girl pulls the boy.

The boy pulls the woman.

The woman pull the man.

The man pulls the turnip.

They pull and they pull and … the turnip moves.

They eat the big turnip.

It’s good.

They are happy!

4. Ollie’s Jar

Ollie is an eel.

He likes his home in a jar.

When he comes out he swims over his jar.

He swims under his jar.

He swims through his jar.

He swims around his jar.

When he has finished, he swims back into his jar. Now there are two eels,Ollie and Izzy.

When Ollie and Izzy come out they can swim over, under, through, around, and back into their jar together.

5. Round Bird Want to Fly

Round bird is not like the other birds. He has a big round body and little wings.

He can not fly but he wants to play with other birds more than anything.

Every day in many ways he tries to fly. Then he tries again.

But nothing works.

Then he thought it might be better to use the tree.

Round bird is determined to fly.

It is very hard for a little bird to do, but he climbs the tree!

He sits on a branch and takes a deep breath before…HE JUMPS!And flaps his wings. And flaps more but they don’t work!

Good thing he made sure there was a pile of leaves!

He scrambles out of the leaves and sits and thinks a bit.
