接省去to的动词不定式作宾补,表主动,表动作经常性,或已经过去。
接doing, 表主动,表动作正在进展。
接过去分词,表被动,表动作已经过去。
e.g. His neighbour observed a stranger go/going into his house.他的邻居看到一个陌生人进入他家。
She observed a monkey eaten by the chimps.她观察到一只猴子被黑猩猩吃掉。

Unit1 Women of achievement-grammar学案Unit1womenofachievement-grammar学案一、主谓一致主谓一致有许多原则,概括起来不外乎三种一致原则,即语法形式一致,概念一致(语言内容上一致),毗邻一致(谓语动词的单复数形式和紧位于其前的主语一致)。
.语法形式一致:按主语的语法形式确定谓语的形式(1)单数主语、单个动词不定式、动名词短语以及句子作主语,谓语动词要用单数形式。
复数主语,用and或both…and连接的动词不定式短语、动名词短语以及主语从句作主语,谓语动词则用复数形式。
例如:)Theperformancewasveryfunny.2)Servingthepeopleismygreathappiness.3)whetherwe’llgodependsontheweather.4)manynaturalmaterialsarebecomingscarce.5)BothyouandIarestudents.6)whatIthinkandwhatIseekhavebeenfairlyreflectedinmy paper.注1:在what引导的主语从句中,如果主语补语是复数时,谓语动词用复数形式。
例如:whatwehavetolearnarethepiecesoflanguagethatproducei nversion.注2:修饰语对主语的数不起影响。
例如:Theperformanceofthefirstthreeclownswasveryfunny.(2)由aswellas,with,alongwith,like,togetherwith,rathertha n,except,but,including,accompaniedby,plus,besides,i nadditionto,nolessthan等引起的结构跟在主语后面,不能看作是并列主语,该主语不受这些词组引导的插入语的影响,主语如是单数,其谓语动词仍然用单数形式。
Unit 1 Women of achievement主谓一致一、名词作主语时的主谓一致1.只表示复数意义的名词people,police,cattle等,形式上是单数,而意义上却是复数,谓语动词要用复数形式。
The police are searching for a tall dark man with a beard.警察正在搜寻一个留着胡子、皮肤黝黑的高个子男人。
2.集体名词crowd,family,team,group,government,committee,class,union,firm,staff,public等作主语时,谓语动词的数要根据语言内容而定。
强调整体,谓语动词用单数形式,强调各个成员,则谓语动词用复数形式。
As far as I know,his family is a big one.(强调整体)据我所知,他家是一个大家庭。
When I visited them yesterday,the family were having dinner.(强调成员)昨天当我拜访他们时,他们一家人正在吃饭。
3.只作不可数名词的集体名词clothing,furniture,baggage/luggage,scenery,jewellery,equipment等作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。
His luggage is very heavy,and he needs someone to help him.他的行李很重,需要有人帮他一下。
The scenery of this mountain area is beautiful,which has attracted manytourists.这个山区的风景很美,吸引了很多游客。
4.单复数同形的名词means,sheep,deer等,根据其表达的单复数的意义而定。
All possible means have been tried,but none of which is perfect.所有可能的方法都试了,但是没有一个是完美的。
Book4 Unit1 Women of achievement语法:主谓一致主谓一致(Subject- Verb Agreement),指谓语动词与其主语在“人称”和“数”方面的一致关系可分为:语法一致,内容一致,就近一致.(一)语法一致原则该原则要求谓语动词必须与主语在语法形式上保持一致,即主语是单数形式,动词用单数形式。
主语是复数形式,谓语动词用复数形式。
1.确定倒装句谓语的单复数要找准主语:1)On the wall ___ (hang ) two large portraits.2)Seated at the front ____ (be) some VIPs from the company at the meeting yesterday.3)Here__ ___ (be)some envelopes and paper .4)South of the city ___ (be)a large stadium .5)In front of the girl ___ (be)some flowers .2.不定代词either, each, one, another, any-/ no-/ some-/every-合成词做主语时,谓语动词用单数,none 做主语指代可数名词时,谓语动词单复数均可。
指代不可数,谓动用单数1)Everyone ___ (arrive) so far.2)Nobody __ ___ (know) exactly how many species of plants and animals there are on Earth.3)Each of the students __ (have) strengths and weaknesses.4)The students each___ _____ (have) strengths and weaknesses.5)None __ (permit) to enter the building yesterday.6)None of his money ___ (leave) the other day.3.主语后跟with, as well as, no less than, rather than, together with, along with, but, except, besides, like, including, in addition to,等短语时,谓语视主语而定。

一、语法形式一致原则:即主语是单数形式,谓语动词用单数形式;主语是复数形式,谓语也用复数形式。
语法一致体现在以下几种情况:1. 划出下面句子的主语和谓语Going out for a walk after supper is a good habit. To see is to believe.Whether we’ll go depends on the weather. This bookis worth reading.Water is very important for life.归纳:当__________, ________, ________单数可数名词,不可数名词,作主语时, 谓语动词常用单数形式。
动词不定式(短语) 动名词(短语) 单句从句翻译以下句子:1)学好英语并不容易。

相同用法的不定代词还有something, someone, anything, anybody (即由every,some,any,no等构成的不定代词) 或由each, every构成的__________短语,如each student, every book等。

两个并列的名词前如果有each, every, no, many a 等修饰时,谓语动词仍然要用_____(单数/复数)形式。

归纳:分数或百分数+of …,the rest of …, the majority of …,half of …, some of …,all of …,most of …等作主语时, 谓语动词的形式通常与of 后面的名词或短语保持一致。

归纳:主语The teacher和He后面分别接说明主语的修饰语with some students 和as well as I,但谓语动词不受修饰成分的影响,仍保持与主语一致的关系。
这种修饰语还有along with,together with,like,than,but,except,besides,including等。
