课堂讲解一、知识讲授1、more than(1)、more than + num.,意为“超过,多于”,相当于over。
eg:It’s very hard to concentrate like that for more than half an hour.(2)、more than one + n.(单数)意为“不止一个……”,在语意上虽为复数,但作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。
eg:More than one girl holds such a view in this school.(3)、more than +n.,意为“不只是,不仅仅”。
eg:Her speech was more than good. It was perfect.注:more than修饰名词、数词、动词,还是修饰形容词、副词、分词以及整个句子,都要放在被修饰成分的前面。
