Unit 9 My favorite subject is sciencePeriod Two课型: Reading and Speaking方法: Interactive approach目标: To get information from the reading material about personal preferences 教具: Tape recorder, pictures ,OHP.教学步骤:Step 1 Grammar Focus复习和巩固语法部分,让学生做问与答的练习。
Step 2 Warming-up目的:本活动可以起到衔接上一课时的作用,通过问答练习,既复习上一堂课所学内容,又可以为接下来的阅读提供信息支持。
操作:方案1:要求学生两人一组进行问答练习谈论个人偏好。
学生到前面展示。
方案2:教师总结上一堂课学习内容,并用投影仪或多媒体展开复习内容。
教师可以用幻灯片谈论某人的个人偏好。
例如:展示一幅课时活动图,点两名学生问与答:—What’s his/her fav orite subject?—His/Her favorite subject is...Step 3 Pronunciation目的:本活动目的在于使学生掌握疑问句的语音和语调。
例如:1) — Is she your sister?—Do you like math?2) —What’s your favorite subject?—Why d o you like math?Step 4 Reading(3a)目的:本活动的目的是训练学生阅读理解有关个人偏好的对话,以学生能够掌握what、who 和why的区别于基本用法。
建议:本部分分为两个步骤进行:第一部分为展示与讲解。
第二部分为补全对话。
第一部分:展示目的:看图/幻灯片演示,解释基本句法并带读操练。
操作:演示解释带读反馈方式:学生齐声朗读,看朗读效果;由一名学生朗读。
