般过去式
语法讲解
1. 一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,常与
a minute ago, two days/m on ths/years ago, yesterday, last year, in those days, just now , in 1990 等表示过去的时间状语连用;一般过去时也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。
(1) 过去存在的状态 。
My father was at work yesterday after noon.
(2) 过去某个时间发生的动作 。
I got up at 6: 30 yeste rday.
(3) 过去经常或反复发生的动作。
He always went to work by bus last year.
2. Be 动词在一般过去时中的变化:
⑴am 和is 在一般过去时中变为 wa&( was n ot=wasn ' t )
⑵ar e 在一般过去时中变为 were 。
(were not=weren ' t )
⑶带有was 或were 的句子,其否定、疑问的变化和 is, am, are 一样,即否定句在 was 或were 后加not ,—般疑问句把 was 或were 调到句首。

4. 动词过去式变化规则:
(1) .规则动词一般在动词末尾直接加-ed,如:pull-pulled, cook-cooked play-played
(2) . 结尾是e 力口d,女口:taste-tasted move-moved
(3) .末尾只有一个元音字母和一个辅音字母的重读闭音节,应双写末尾的辅音字母,再加-ed ,
女口:stop-stopped plan-planned trip -tripped
(4) .以“辅音字母+y”结尾的,变y为i,再加-ed , 女口:study-studied
(5) .不规则动词过去式:
am/is-was, are-were, do-did, see-saw, say-said, give-gave, get-got, go-we nt,
come-came, have-had, eat-ate, take-took, run-ran, sin g-sa ng, put-put, make-made,
read-read, write-wrote, draw-drew, drin k-dra nk, fly-flew, ride -rode, speak-spoke,

5、其他用法
(1) 在时间和条件状语从句中,用一般过去时表’过去将来时’
He said that he would tell us if he heard the n ews.
(2) used to + 动词原型表过去经常,现在不了He used to smoke.
(3) would 表过去 "经常”The man would go there on foot.
used to 与would do 均表示过去经常,但有区别
used to do 既可表示动作又可表过去存在的状态,
而would do 只能用于过去反复性的动作,如:She used to be a quiet child.( V) 就不能换为:She would be a quiet child.(X)。
