Ⅰ. Analysis of the text

The text is selected from the 4th volume of PEP primary English books.It’s a

story about classroom.This part pays attention to the understanding of the story which

have happened in the classroom.

Ⅰ. Analysis of the students

The students of grade 4 have a knowledge of the classroom..After learning

English for years, they have some basic English background knowledge and grasped

the reading skills,so It is not difficult for them to understand and read the

content ,they are eager to show themselves and express their feelings.

Ⅰ. Teaching aims and demands

1.Knowledge aims

a.Students will be able to read, recognize these words: bee,fan ....

b.students will be able to read and understand the story.

2.Ability aims

a.Students will be able to say what have happened in the classroom.

b.Students can master some basic reading methods.

3.Emotional aims

a.Students will have more passion on English study.

b.Students will learn to clean their classroom and study hard in class.

Step 1: Pre-reading

1.Greetings..

2.Play a game: golden eyes .

What’s this? It’s ......(classroom),lead into the song: In the classroom.

3.Sing a song:In the classroom.

Step 2:While-reading

1. Show the classroom in the song and ask students :what’s in the classroom?

Review the words about classroom and lead into a bee.

2. Teach the word:bee.

3. Look,where is the bee?(呈现flash ),It’s in/on/under...

4. The bee is missing, where is it? Read the story and answer the question.

5. Listen the story.

6. Let’s chant.

There is a bee in the classroom.

Where is it now?

It’s on the fan.

Where is it now?

It’s in the desk...........

7.Let’s read.

Step 3:Post-reading.

1. Role play.

2. Play a game:find the bee.(学生根据大小声说出蜜蜂的位置)

Make a new chant.
