Unit 8 Detective storiesReading设计说明教学反思首先通过复习Murder in Sun Town引入Murder in West Tow n。
通过图片和相关介绍呈现生词,导入新课,然后根据读前、读中、读后设计不同的任务来引导学生逐步理解课文,逐步通晓阅读的技巧,最后解决课文中的重要知识点,扫清障碍、更好地掌握课文。
教学目标通过本课时的教学,让学生达成以下目标:1.知识目标掌握单词和短语: confirm, victim, crime, somewhere, contact, wound,bleed, enemy, single, well-paid, charge, system, suppose, only, witness, report,breathe, heavily, reward, arrest, break into。
2.能力目标(1)能够读懂关于谋杀案的新闻报道;(2)能够从短文中提取有效信息。
3.情感目标培养学生良好的个人品质,遵纪守法,做守法公民。
重点难点重点:学习并掌握本课时的单词和短语,理解文章大意,掌握重要句型。
难点:灵活使用短语和句型,如:break into, lead to, be wounded with, beguilty of, be charged with等。

Unit 8 Detective storiesTask教学反思设计说明首先复习谋杀案和绑架案,学生们自由复述,然后呈现图片,导入偷窃案的情况,通过谈论图片内容、填空、讨论、续写等任务来完成有关偷窃案的问题,然后再根据图片提示,学写侦探故事,通过谈论如何写、写的时候该注意什么,让所写的故事更生动有趣,之后学生练习写作,写后分享,并学会改错。
最后讲解几个知识点,完成巩固练习。

具有很多优点,但由于学生认知水平的发展具有规律性和局限性,教师只有充分认识和掌握这种规律,并结合教学实际合理设计教学程序,充分发挥学生的主体作用,教学相长,才能使教学效果最优化。
二、教材分析1.【教学内容分析】本单元的中心话题是“volunteer”,内容涉及参加志愿者活动所做的事和提供建议等。
要求学生能谈论想做的事和建议等。
语言技能和语言知识几乎都围绕“志愿者活动”这一中心话题设计的。
本节课主要通过学习表示短语动词的词汇,要求学生能够准确地用英语来表达提供建议。
2、教学目标(知识与技能)1)学生会掌握短语动词和生词:clean up; hunger, homeless, cheer up, volunteer, bank, food.达到听、说、读、写四会要求。
2)学生能围绕志愿者活动中心话题自由的表述想做的事;学会给别人提建议。
3.教学目标(情感与态度)(1)培养学生自主学习能力,根据需要进行课前预习和准备。
(2)引导学生学会在小组中积极与他人合作,培养学生的团结协作的精神。

Step 4 Listening1. Call the students’ attention to the two lists in the box in Activity lb. Ask some students to read the eight sentences on the lists to the class. Explain any new words and phrases in it.2.Make sure that all the students can understand the meanings of the eight items. T: we will hear four conversations. You will be asked to fill in the missing words while listening. So pay more attention, please.3. Play the recording for the first time.Task2: Divide the whole class into four or five groups and hand out a piece of paper to each group. Ask the students to choose a volunteer job they might like to do and draw a picture of it. They can draw a picture like the posters in the textbook. They can also add a sentence describing the job. And then discuss it with their own group.
