Ensure the holes are drilled perpendicular to the fixing plane and that they are sufficiently deep.a. If using the 80mm bolts, drill the holes to an80mm depthb) Use the small dustpan to catch the dust from the drillingor tape a plastic back to the wall underneath where the holes will be drilled to catch the brick dust.c) Sweep brick dust into a polythene bag for use duringdeinstallation when filling holes and colouring filler.3 Installing the BoltsStep Instructions Picture 3.1 Use four bolts and washers, fix the Lockbox to the wall.a) Install the top two bolts first by sliding the box up in theslotted top holes to its highest position (to allow for easyaccess to the bolt heads).b) Screw them down to within one turn of being tight, butdo not fully tighten at this stage.3.2 c) Let the lockbox drop down in the top slotted holes now,and then install the bottom two bolts. Tighten themcompletely.d) Go back to the top bolts and tighten them completely,using the swivel flex drive if necessary.e) Check that all four bolts are tightened and firmly secure.WARNING: It is imperative when tightening the bolts that theprocess has not deformed or twisted the vault box. Theinstallation surface must be flat.4 Reassemble Lockbox4.1 Reverse the disassembly process.a)Re-insert the metal Space Plate, ensuring it sits flush andlevel. Ensure it does not sit on the bolt heads or washers,but covers them.b)Re-insert the Latch Mechanism (if necessary, by pushingthe door latches in slightly to get them around the latchsupports.
