四川大学2012年“自觉自信自强——我是川大学子”大型主题演讲比赛决赛于5月22日晚上在四川大学江安校区水上报告厅隆重举行，此次大型主题演讲比赛由学校教务处、宣传部、学工部、团委和马克思注意学院联合举办。

出席此次演讲比赛的嘉宾有：校长谢和平院士、副校长步宏教授、校党委副书记李向成教授，学校教务处、宣传部、学工部、校团委、马克思主义学院等相关部门负责人。

校长谢和平院士发表了题为“做自信的川大人”的演讲。

谢校长在演讲中告诉同学们，要成为自信的川大人，我们应有自己的梦想和追求，应学会欣赏，把川大的精神内化为每一位同学的气质；要成为自信的川大人，我们应有强烈的精英意识，实施精英教育，为国家和社会培养栋梁之才；要成为自信的川大人，我们应对川大的文化有强烈的认同。

同时，四川大学也正在创造各种条件让同学们成为自信的川大人。

我们在教学中推进“323+X”的教育模式，将为每一位希望成才的同学提供一个良好的平台；我们开设的人文大讲堂等第二课堂，将为同学们人文底蕴的提升，创造一个适宜的外部环境；我们在努力全面改造我们的学习环境，将使同学们的学习条件更优越；我们也在积极推进的国际化教育，这将有助于提升川大在国际上的影响力和拓宽同学们的国际视野。

最后谢校长总结到：川大有历史、川大有人物、川大有精神，还有什么让大家感到不自信的呢？四川大学马克思主义学院院长蒋永穆教授代表主办方致辞并介绍了比赛举办的前期过程。

他说，主题演讲比赛是我校思想政治理论课教学改革的活动之一，今后我们将继续加强协作，继续深入推进教学改革，积极开展第二课堂教学，把思想政治理论课建设成为“学生真心喜爱并终身受益”的课程。

马克思主义学院郑晔教授对比赛做了精彩的点评，充分肯定了参赛者的演讲水平。

此次主题演讲比赛覆盖了本学期“毛泽东思想和中国特色社会主义理论体系概论”课程，有80个教学班，共1万多名学生。

对此次活动，广大同学表现出了极大的热情，老师们付出了辛勤的劳动。

校长谢和平院士2019开学典礼的讲话：川大的学生要有真学问亲爱的新同学们、老师们、家长们：大家上午好!今天，我们在这里隆重举行XX级本科生开学典礼，迎接来自全国各地的新同学。

首先，我代表学校党委、行政和全校师生员工，向各位新同学表示最衷心的祝贺和最热烈的欢迎!同时，也向始终支持同学们成长成才的家长和亲友们，表示最亲切的问候和最诚挚的敬意!同学们，从今天开始，你们即将步入自己人生中最美好、也是最重要的大学生活。

大学之大，在于大学有精神、大学有文化，大学文化的本质和精髓就是求真。

中国儒家传统经典《大学》中讲“大学之道，在明明德，在亲民，在止于至善”，就是说，大学的本质、大学的治学之道就在于启民向善求真，就是要追求真学问、真道理、真本事。

几个月前，在北大勉励广大青年学生，首先要做到勤学，努力求得真学问。

我想，这也就是总书记对广大青年学生们的基本要求和期望。

所以，同学们进入川大，不应仅仅是简单地为拿文凭、拿学历而来，而应是来读书、来求学，是来求得真学问、来练就真本领。

只有求得真学问，才能成就自己美好的人生。

北宋大文学家欧阳修曾讲过：“立身以立学为先”。

面对未来竞争激烈的社会，真学问、真本事才是我们每个人的长久立身之本，才是每个人未来真正的竞争力。

同学们应该想明白，现在成绩的高低、家庭经济条件的好坏都是一时的，自己的真才实学才是一辈子的。

我们只有靠大学四年的努力获得真学问，才能增加自己学养的厚度和思想的深度，实现独立而有尊严的生活;我们只有靠自己的真本事、真学问，才能提升视野的宽度和境界的高度，改变自己人生的格局，迎来自己光明的前程。

只有求得真学问，才能真正担当起对国家、对社会的责任。

作为当代的大学生，你们正处于我们国家全面建成小康社会的关键时期。

modern oral medicine.In 1936, SCU began to enroll graduates and became one of the universities which firstly enroll graduates in China.In 1953, SCU created the first polymer professional and achieved SCU to all of you.Sichuan University has become one of the top-ranking China's universities with complete subjects, the largest scale and the best quality and benefit.The number of doctor conferrable spots for first level discipline from 12 in 2000 increased to now 27 and among the top-4 of national universities;doctoral program increased from 65 to 213, master degree program increased from 135 to 330 and ranking 6th and 3rd among the national universities respectively.All of these have realized the important index of increasing several times over for the discipline construction.At the same time, the teaching level and quality has obviously improved.In 2005, we attained two first prizes of the state level teaching achievement prize and nine second prizes, in the forefront of the university.SCU’s scientific research has made great-leap-forward development.From 2000 to 2005, during the five years, scientific research funds rose from 172 million yuan to 701.5 million yuan, nearly 5 times growth;the number of “State Three Awards” achievements increased from 3 to 15 and improved five levels;the number of science and technology and social science research achievements of ministerial or provincial level added from 36 to 401 with 10 times growth.And in the past three years, we have taken three “zero” breakthrough of the academician, the national key laboratoryand the 国家空管自动化系统技术重点实验室3月1日上午，国家空管自动化系统技术重点实验室揭牌仪式在四川大学隆重举行，这标志着国家空管自动化系统技术重点实验室正式落户四川大学。

总参作战部副部长、国家空管委办公室副主任孟国平，国家空管委办公室副局长邢书元，四川大学校长谢和平院士、常务副校长李光宪教授，林祥棣院士，四川大学杰出教授游志胜教授，四川大学校长助理、研究生院长徐唯临教授出席揭牌仪式。

谢和平校长表示，挂牌成立的“四川大学国家空管自动化系统技术重点实验室”不仅是教育部直属高校中唯一获建的国家空管重点实验室，更是我国空管科技创新体系的重要组成部分。

2009年四川大学工会工作大事记一月1月份，校工会会同学校相关部门一起积极开展了“送温暖工程”慰问活动。

此次活动共慰问了全校129名困难教职工、汶川地震中受灾的教职工及32名困难外聘员工会员、30名省部级以上劳模。

二月2月18日，校工会召开了科以上干部办公会议，对新学期校工会工作进行了全面研究部署。

校党委常务副书记罗中枢教授和校工会主席蒋润书、副主席唐宏光、蒙慧玲，兼职副主席刘亚丁、张永丽以及工会全体科级干部参加了会议。

会议就今年上半年的工作要点，按月逐项作了具体的讨论研究与计划安排。

2月25日，校工会向各部门工会发出通知，要求各部门工会开展“节能减排，建设节约型校园”活动。

2月，校工会女教职工委员会召开了2009 年女工工作会议。
