一、The Analysis of Teaching Content
本节课属于小学生英美儿童文学选读课范畴。以“The chronicles of Narnia”为本节课学习内容，纳尼亚传奇是一套七册的奇幻儿童文学，由英国作家C·S·路易斯在1950年代所著，为英美儿童文学经典之一。故事的开始讲述一个小男孩和一个女孩偶然进入了一个异世界，称为纳尼亚，并在那里经历过一连串的冒险，及看到那个世界的创造。本节课以纳尼亚传奇的第一部为线索，以电影片段的方式讲述《The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe》的故事，内容生动有趣，反映了每个儿童心中都有一个美丽的童话，符合六年级儿童的心理年龄和学习特征。
二、Teaching Objectives
1．知识与技能
（1）通过《纳尼亚传奇I》这一故事，让学生学会基本的单词，如：“Father Christmas,lion,witch,wardrobe”等等。
（2）通过电影中形象生动的情节，进行模仿、角色扮演、配音等方式感受这一美好的童话，并且提高学生的英语语感和语言素养。
2．情感与态度
（1）通过设置丰富的问题情境，鼓励学生从多角度思考、探索、交流，激发其学习英美文化的兴趣。
（2）对儿童文学产生兴趣，学会对自己的生活进行思考和反思，对未来的生活充满信心和希望。
三、T eaching Keys and Difficulties
教学重点：让学生通过图片等形式对《The chronicles of Narnia I》的故事情节大致掌握，并能够复述其内容，对作品本身有初步的了解。
教学难点：认识到中西文化的差异性，对于这部文学作品的写作背景和涉及的文化内涵进行简单讲述。
四、The Analysis of Students Characters
本节课的学习者特征分析主要是根据教师平时对学生的了解而做出的：（1）对象是小学六年级学生；
（2）大多数学生课前看过这部电影，对于《The chronicles of Narnia I》有了
初步的了解；
（3）学生对于英美儿童文学作品尤其是童话故事兴趣浓厚；
（4）学生运用英语进行相互交流的能力还不强，在听、说等方面语言能力比较弱。
五、The Design of Teaching Strategies
（1）自主学习策略：学生通过课前观看电影，学生自己在经历看、想、说的体验中对《The chronicles of Narnia I》有初步的接触；
（2）活动激趣策略：通过一系列小型的游戏或配音活动，有效激发学生学习的兴趣和求知欲，创设宽松活泼的课堂教学气氛，维持学生学习的动机；（3）情境迁移策略：在完成课标要求的基础上，通过设置与生活实际紧密联系的问题情境，巩固提高学生运用“英语”讲故事以及交际的能力。

Step1: Warm-up 1 .Asking some questions about their hobies,
favorate fairy tales and some feelings to
fairy tales.

-----Can you tell me why do you like it?Is
it interesting or not?
2. According to the answers of students,I
will give some response.Then take out of
some pictures and begin to introduce
《The chronicles of Narnia I》.

Step3: Practice 1.Watch some movie clips(《The
chronicles of Narnia I》)and divide
students into several groups.Select one
or two group to dub for the movie by
subtitles.
2.Ask two students to act as Mr. Tumnus

dialogues, let students learn to
communiciate with others.

Step4: Production 1.Analysize the different characters of four
Heros.(Peter,Susan,Edmund,Lucy).Then
let students in pairs discuss their
personnality.Next,please students talk
about which hero do they like best.
2. Take Nainia as an example,compare the
cultural differences between China and
western countries.And make students
have a more understanding to western
culture by fairy tales.

Step5: Self-assign nment 1.List the new words from the movie,for
example,“witch,beave,wardrobe”.And
ask some students to answer their
meaning.
2.Show some qustions:

D. Bariour（人羊）
3. Ask one or two students to retell the
story of Narnia.
