新目标英语七年级下册第一单元知识全解Section A1 (1)Can you play the guitar?在这个句子中，can 为情态动词，没有人称和数的变化，后面跟动词原形，意思是“能够、会、可能”。
其否定式为can’t 或cannot；变一般疑问句将其提前，变否定句在后加not. Can 还可用于特殊疑问句Who can swim? 谁会游泳7“Can we...¨?一般疑问句表示说话人请求对方的许可，询问可不可以做某件事。

(2)动词play 在句申意为"弹;拉;演奏"，表示弹奏乐器时，乐器名词前面要加定冠词the 如: She likes playing the piano.她喜欢弹钢琴。

拓展play表示"打(踢)球"，与球类运动、棋类运动的名词连用时，这些名词前不加冠词。

我们老人之家需要帮助，need 既可作情态动词，世可作实义动词，但是用法不同。
(1)need作实义动词时，有数的变化和人称的变化-need sth.其后的宾语可以是名词，也呵以是代词。
如:Does your father need any help? 你爸爸需耍帮助吗:need to do sth.表示有义务或责任去做某事.如：Y ou need to take good care of your mother你要好好照料你妈妈·(2 ) need 作情态动问时，没有数和人称的变化，后接动原形，用于否定句中，表示“不必”。

用于疑问旬中，表示"需要......吗?”如:一Need you go? 你得去吗;一No,I neednt不必./一Y es.I must.是的，我必须去。
need 后面跟动间原形时就是情态动词，变否定句时，只需在其后加not;变疑问句时，只需把它移至主语的前面.There is eough time. Y ou neeedn’t hurry.有的是时间，你不必着急。

help 既是名词，又是动词，意为"帮助，帮忙，援助"。
（1)help sb (to) do sth 表示“帮助某人做某事”。
加:Please help us find the way.请帮助我们找到路（2）help sb with sth.或help with sth. 帮助某人作某事。
Do you often help him with his English? 你经常帮助他学习英语吗？4 Can you play the piano or the violin ？你会掸钢琴还是会拉小提琴？这是个选择疑问句，问话人提出两种或两种以上的晴况，让对方选择其中一种回答。
并列的两部分用or 连接，or 的意思是“或者.....还是.....”。
若并列的部分是三部分或更多，用or 连接最后两个并列部分，前面的部分用逗号隔开，回答不用yes或no, 而是从并列成分中选出一个正确的来答。

be in=join in 在句中表示"成为⋯⋯的成员，从事( 职业)"。
