(一)句子成分的定义:构成句 子的各个部分叫做句子成分。句子成分有主要成分和次要成分;主要成分有主语和谓语;次要成分有表语、宾语、定语、状语、补足语和同位语。
(二)观察﹒思考(勾出下列句子中的主语和谓语)
During the 1990s, American country music has become more and more popular.
主语可由________________________________________________________等表示。
归纳:在句子翻译过程中主语的表达形式多样,可交叉使用使得句式多变。

[我的发现]:主语是一个句子所叙述的主体,一般位于____________。但在there be结构、疑问句和倒装句中,主语位于谓语、助动词或情态动词后面。谓语:说明主语“做什么、“是什么”或者“怎么样”。谓语由________构成,是英语时态、语态变化的主角,一般在_________之后。_____________之后没有宾语,形成主谓结构,如:We come.

(三).点拨.领悟
谓语的构成如下:
1、简单谓语:由一个行为动词或动词短语构分为及物动词和不及物动词。及物动词后面必须跟宾语,否则就是用的被动。不及物动词后不能直接加宾语,但后面可先加介词或副词然后再加宾语。
