介绍张家界国家森林公园英文作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: A Magical World of Nature!Hi everyone! My name is Emily and I'm going to tell you all about this amazing place called Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China. It's one of the coolest places I've ever been to!Zhangjiajie is in the Hunan Province, right in the middle of China. It's known for having some of the tallest and coolest looking sandstone pillars in the world! These giant pillars are called quartzite sandstone pillars, and some of them are over 200 meters (600 feet) tall! That's like a 60 story building. They look like giant skyscrapers made of rock sticking straight up out of the ground. Crazy right? When you first get to Zhangjiajie, you drive through these beautiful green mountains and valleys full of trees and streams. It almost feels like you're in a fairytale land. Then suddenly these humongous rock pillars start appearing out of nowhere! They are scattered all throughout the park in these epic formations. Somelook like towers, some look like blades, and some even look like people or animals! My favorite pillars were probably the ones they call the Southern Pillars. There's one called the Avatar Hallelujah Mountain that looks just like the floating mountains from the movie Avatar. It has this flat top with spires all around the edges. In another section called Yuanjiajie, there is a pillar called the Emperor Surrendering to Force that looks exactly like a man kneeling down. The details are so amazing! You can see the ribs, arms, and knees of the figure. It's unbelievable that it formed naturally just from wind and rain over millions of years.Speaking of formations, Zhangjiajie has some of the craziest natural bridges, canyons, and waterfalls too. The most famous bridge is called the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge. It's a giantsee-through glass walkway suspended between two cliffs high up in the mountains! Just walking across gave me a bit of vertigo looking straight down. Another cool spot is called the Golden Whip Stream. It's this skinny canyon with glowing orange walls where the stream has carved a perfect rectangular groove to flow through. The waterfalls were beautiful too, with names like Immortal Receiving Streams and Wulong Triple Falls. In addition to the rock formations, Zhangjiajie is home to tons of different plants and animals too. As you hike along the trails, you walk through bamboo forests, caves filled with green mossy glowing areas, and past wild orchids, rhododendrons, and gingko trees. It's like a rainforest in the mountains! Some of the rare animals that live there are rhesus monkeys, clouded leopards, pangolins, and giant salamanders. I didn't see any big animals, but we did spot lots of butterflies, birds, and cave dwellers like crickets.Another awesome thing about Zhangjiajie is the local culture. Many of the park workers still wear traditional Tujia minority clothes with awesome colors and patterns. We got to watch some performances of ethnic dances and songs too. The music had these cool sounding lutes and pipes. For food, we tried lots of delicious local dishes like smoked bamboo rice, sanzhou noodles, and steamed turnip pastries. Everything had such fresh flavors from ingredients grown in the mountains. If you want to see Zhangjiajie up close, you can take rides up the mountains in these huge epic glass elevators dug into the sides of cliffs. The Bailong Elevator is one of the tallest outdoor elevators in the world at over 300 meters high! You get to soar up over the quartzite peaks with crazy views in all directions. Forthe more adventurous, there are also trails where you can hike, rock climb, and explore caves. I loved walking across the swinging bridge trails hung between pillars high above the ground. At night, the park stays open late with special illumination lighting up all the rock formations in different colors. It's such a magical scene seeing the pillars glowing purple, blue, and gold up against the night sky. They also have lights that highlight cool spots like the waterfalls. Another fun thing we did was ride the Bailong Sightseeing Monorail which takes you on a tour through the park's best scenery.Overall, Zhangjiajie was definitely one of the most epic places in nature I've ever experienced. The humongous quartzite pillars and cliffs alone make it worth the trip, but there is so much more too. Between the hiking, shows, food, and rides, it's an adventure I'll never forget! If you ever get a chance to visit China, you have to go see Zhangjiajie for yourself. Heck, it's worth a trip all the way across the world! This forest park is truly a magical and wondrous wonderland.篇2My Amazing Trip to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park!Hi everyone! My name is Amy and I'm 10 years old. Last summer, my family took the best trip ever to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China. It was sooooo much fun and I can't wait to tell you all about it!Zhangjiajie is in the Hunan Province, which is right in the middle of China. We flew from Beijing to the city of Zhangjiajie and then drove about an hour to get to the national park. As soon as we got close, I could see these gigantic pillars of rock sticking up into the sky everywhere! They looked like towers from a fantasy world. I learned they are called quartzite sandstone pillars and were formed by erosion over millions of years. So cool! When we entered the park, it felt like we were transported to another planet. Thick green forests covered the ground and those huge pillars were all around us, poking up towards the clouds. I'd never seen anything like it before! We started on one of the hiking trails right away to explore. The first really famous spot we came to was called Huangshi Village. It's this tiny little village built over 600 years ago, nestled between two giant quartzite pillars. The best part was this singlesandstone pillar with a pavilion built on top of it called the Air-Facing Pavilion. We climbed up a long, steep staircasethrough the pillar to reach the top and the view was breathtaking! Green peaks and pillars spread out in every direction. I could even see the tops of some pillars poking up through the clouds. So magical! After Huangshi Village, we hiked along the Golden Whip Stream. This was my favorite part - we got to walk right in the stream itself! The water was crystal clear and freezing cold, but it felt so refreshing as we waded between towering cliffs on each side. At one point, the cliffs got so narrow overhead that we could reach out and touch both sides. It made me feel like a little ant!The hiking was pretty tiring, but I didn't mind at all with all the amazing scenery around us. We saw so many other famous spots like the Particularity Pillar, Yellow Stone Village, and Delicate Gully. I couldn't believe how many different shapes the pillars came in - some looked like mushrooms, pagodas, even people! My dad said the different erosion patterns over time caused them to have such unique shapes. On our last day, we took a ride on the Bailong Elevator, which is the tallest outdoor elevator in the world! We got to go all the way up the side of a massive quartzite pillar in a glass elevator. I was a little nervous at first when I looked down andsaw how high we were going, but the views from the top made it so worth it. We could see the entire park laid out below us like a miniature world. It felt like being on top of the world!Throughout our whole trip, I just couldn't get over how pretty and peaceful Zhangjiajie was. Even though there were plenty of other visitors, the park is so gigantic that it never felt crowded. I loved breathing in the fresh mountain air and listening to the sounds of nature all around us. Every trail took us to more unbelievable scenery.Zhangjiajie has definitely become one of my favorite places on Earth! The quartzite pillars and lush forests made me feel like I was in an ancient fairy tale land. I'm so grateful my parents took me there to experience its beauty. I know I'll never forget the feeling of wonder I had while exploring such a magical place. I can't wait to go back to Zhangjiajie again one day!篇3My Awesome Adventure in Zhangjiajie!Last summer, my family took the coolest trip ever to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China! It's this huge nature reserve way out in the countryside with the craziest landscapesyou've ever seen. Like something straight out of the movie Avatar!Zhangjiajie is located in the northwestern part of Hunan Province. It covers a total area of 369 square miles (954 square km). But what makes it so special are the thousands of narrow sandstone pillars and peaks that jut vertically out of the ground. They call them "quartzite sandstone pillars" and some of them are over 2,600 feet (800 m) high! It's like a forest of giant skyscrapers made from rocks instead of steel and glass. These pillars formed over millions of years from wind, rain, frost, and plant erosion wearing away the softer stones. The harder quartzite stone pillars are all that's left behind. The shapes they make are just mind-blowing - waterfalls, caves, bridges, and arches hundreds of feet up in the air! Some of the pillars even have trees and bushes growing right on top of them. I felt like I was in some kind of alien landscape. Our first morning there, we took a shuttle bus from our hotel to the Wulingyuan scenic area. This is one of the most famous spots with tons of the sandstone pillars all jammed together. We started off on one of the hiking trails that winds between the pillars. The trail had lots of rustic stone stairways and pathwaysbuilt between and over the rock formations. In some spots, we had to walk across cool swinging bridges hung high up in the air!About halfway through we came to this area called "The Forest of Monsters." All the pillars there are crazy tall and so tightly packed it was like squeezing through a maze. They've got awesome names like the Ship-Crushing Rock, Camel Rock, and Looking Husband Rock (that one's called that because from one angle it looks like a woman searching for her husband). My favorite was the Famous Sword Peak that sticks straight up like a huge totem pole. After a bunch more hiking, we made it to the Bailong Elevator - the tallest outdoor elevator in the world! We had to wait in a long line, but it was worth it to ride all the way up the side of a 1,070 foot (326 m) quartzite cliff. The elevator went so high I felt like a tiny ant next to those massive pillars towering all around. At the top, we got to walk along mountain pathways looking out over the most breathtaking views.Another day, we visited the Huangshi Fort scenic area on the western side of the park. This place has an awesome village with all these cute little cottages nestled between the rock pillars. It felt like walking through a fairy tale land! We explored windingalleyways, ancient bridges and archways, and stopped to watch some locals doing traditional arts and crafts. My favorite part though was getting to dress up in knight costumes and armor like medieval Chinese soldiers. We climbed up into towers built right against and onto the rock pillars, walking along ramparts with views stretching out in every direction. I felt like a palace guard scanning the horizon for invaders! At night, the park was totally transformed by incredible light shows. We attended the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Nighttime Show, where they use hundreds of LED lights, lasers, fireworks, and projections to illuminate the canyon walls and quartzite pillars in every color of the rainbow. It was like walking through a bioluminescent alien wonderland! There was even a fire waterfall where they lit up a tumbling curtain of water to look like molten lava pouring off the side of a cliff. Another show called Charming Wulingyuan made the rock pillars across this valley transform into gigantic human-like avatars moving and battling each other. The crashing music and lighting effects made it look like the landscape was coming alive. It gave me goosebumps!Throughout the park, there were also hiking trails through subterranean cave systems and caverns beneath the quartzite pillars. We walked past underground pools, stalactites and stalagmites, and trippy rock formations in wild colors and shapes. In one spot there was even an underground waterfall cascading through the crevices! For fun, we tried some of the park's extreme activities like rock climbing, zip-lining between the pillars, and taking aheart-pounding walk across one of the high altitude glass bridges. I was a little scared at first, but got used to the heights after a while and it was such a thrill looking straight down at the dizzying drop!We only scratched the surface exploring this place in our four day trip. Zhangjiajie is so massive, with trail upon trail weaving through valleys, waterfall parks, ancient villages, and hidden caves. No matter where you go, there are always more sandstone pillars, arches, and formations waiting to be discovered around every corner. It truly felt like a real-life Pandora with its floating mountains and diverse landscapes. The pillar formations, hiking trails, night shows, and variety of scenery combined to make it one of the most out-of-this-world places I've ever visited. I'll never forgetthis awesome adventure in Zhangjiajie! Every kid should get to experience this Wonder of the World.篇4My Awesome Trip to Zhangjiajie!Last summer, my parents took me on the coolest trip ever! We went to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China. It's a huge park with lots of tall, weird-looking mountains and trees. I was so excited to go on an adventure there! When we first arrived, I couldn't believe my eyes. The mountains were like massive pillars sticking up from the ground. Some of them had flat tops, while others looked like swords pointing towards the sky. My dad told me they were called quartzite sandstone pillars, and they formed over millions of years from wind, rain, and other natural forces. Isn't that crazy? We started our adventure by taking a cable car up to the top of one of the mountains. As we were going up, I could see the whole park spreading out below us. There were pointy peaks everywhere with white clouds swirling around them. It looked like a scene from a fantasy movie!Once we reached the top, we went hiking along the trails. The paths were sometimes narrow with drops on either side, butthere were safety railings, so I felt safe. We walked across cool bridges suspended between the peaks and through archways carved into the rock by nature.Everywhere I looked, there were these twisty, curvy trees growing out of the cracks in the stone pillars. My mom said they were called "tree-hugging rocks" because the trees' roots clung so tightly to the rocks. Some of the trees were hundreds of years old! I've never seen trees like that before. The higher we climbed, the more magical the views became. We could see misty clouds floating through the valleys between the pillars. At one spot called "Avatar Hallelujah Mountain," I felt like I had stepped onto the set of the movie Avatar with those floating rock mountains. One of my favorite parts was walking through the narrow canyons and ravines. The walls towered high above us, and tree branches reached across to create green tunnels. I imagined what it would be like to be a tiny explorer discovering these places for the first time.We also took a boat ride down an underground river that flowed through an epic cave system. The caverns had huge ceilings covered in shiny rock formations. Our tour guide called them "stalactites" and told us they were made from mineraldeposits over millions of years. It was like sailing through a magical underground kingdom!Throughout the park, there were also tons of fun attractions like zip-lines, hiking trails, bungee jumps, and even a slide mounted on the side of a mountain! My parents let me go on the giant slide, and it was a total rush zooming down the mountainside. At night, there were dazzling light shows with the pillars and waterfalls lit up in different colors. We watched one show called "The Romance of Quartzite Sandstone" where they used lights, music, and special effects to tell stories about the park's history and legends. It was so beautiful!I had such an incredible time at Zhangjiajie exploring all the jaw-dropping scenery. The crazy pillars, misty forests, underground rivers, and death-defying attractions made me feel like a real-life adventurer. If you ever get a chance to go there, you have to take it! Just writing about it makes me want to go back for another visit. Zhangjiajie is definitely the coolest national park I've ever been to!篇5My Awesome Trip to Zhangjiajie National Forest ParkLast summer, my family and I went on a super exciting trip to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China. It was so much fun and I saw lots of amazing things!Zhangjiajie is in the Hunan province, right in the middle of China. It's famous for its tall, weird-looking mountains called quartzite sandstone pillars. These pillars look like giant skyscrapers reaching up to the sky! Some of them are over 200 meters (650 feet) tall. That's taller than a 60-story building! The pillars have cool names too, like the Southern Sky Column and the Emperor Pillars. When we first got to the park, we took a bus tour around the different scenic areas. One area called Yangjiajie had tons of the tall pillars all bunched together. It felt like we were driving through a magical land of stone forests! Our tour guide told us that over 360 million years ago, this whole area was under an ancient sea. The sand and rocks at the bottom of the sea got squished together into the unique pillar shapes we see today. The next day, we went on a hike up the mountain to see the pillars up close. The trail was really long with a ton of stairs, but the views were so worth it! We saw pillars with grooves that made them look like they were twisting. Other pillars had holes through the middle, making them look like giant stone donuts. My little brother pretended he was a brave explorer discovering these pillars for the first time.Along the hike, we passed by beautiful forests, rivers, waterfalls, and ancient Buddhist temples too. At one point we walked across a glass bridge suspended high up in the air. I was a little scared at first, but looking down through the glass at the deep valley below was awesome! We also took a cable car ride over the tops of the pillars to get a bird's eye view.My favorite part was near the end of our hike when we came across the iconic Avatar Hallelujah Mountain. This pillar is over 1,000 feet tall and has trees growing at the very top, just like the floating mountains in the movie Avatar! Apparently the makers of Avatar used Zhangjiajie as inspiration for the film. Walking around the base of Hallelujah Mountain made me feel tiny compared to its massive size.At night, they had a light show where they projected colorful lights and images onto the pillars. It looked like the stone forests were coming to life with dragons, flowers, and even fireworks! The whole park felt magical.Zhangjiajie was definitely one of the coolest places I've ever visited. I'll never forget climbing up those twisty, alien-looking pillars and feeling like I was transported to another world. Fromthe glass bridges to the ancient temples, every part of the park was a new adventure. I hope I can go back to Zhangjiajie again someday and explore even more of the mystical quartzite pillars!。

The only way to it is a straight flight of 186-step stone stairs. The forest of pinnacles stand, strange stones cover the ground. The clouds roll and rays shine. Old trees' branches and roots curl up. How mysterious and unpredictable.Suoxiyu ValleySuoxiyu Valley is the center of Wulingyuan scenic zone. It covers an area of more than 180 square kilometers and is the largest of the three zones. It lies on the highest point of "Golden Triangle", its highest point being 1262.5m(Kunlun peak) and lowest point being 534m(Shilanvalley). It has an area of 67 square kilometers, a touring line of 45 kilometers, an average temperature of 12oC, an annual waterfall of 1800 mm, a frost-free period of 240 days and a frozen period of 60-80 days. Except a layer of limestone and a few areolate stones at the peak, some hundred meters above sea level, the majority of scenic spots is formed of quart stones, belonging to sandstone ground feature which is the same as Suoxiyu Valley and Zhangjiajie. The 500-meter or 600-meter thick quartzite sandstone has evolved from neptunic rocks that subsided from oceans 380,000,000 years ago and after a complicated and long process formed strangely shaped spectacles. To sum up, the landscape in Tianzi Mountain is natural and primeval. Every scenic spot is created by nature and of no artificial trace. There are not only primeval forests and beautiful water but also plain folkways, special customs and local specialities and delicacies awaiting tourists from home and abroad. No wonder people make comments, like " people who have climbed Tianzi Mountain will not climb any other mountains" and "It can not be said that you have been to Wulingyuan without reaching Tianzi Mountain".West SeaSituated in the west of Suoxiyu Valley, it is a basin-like landform with a collection of peaks and woods. In this "sea", numerous peaks stand with different shapes and poses, covered with lush vegetation. Therefore, it is called "sea of trees" and "sea of peaks". In spring or summer or a clear day immediately after a rain in autumn, the clouds are surging and rolling like waves, covering the whole sky and earth. The view is so magnificent that it is called "sea of clouds". The combination of the three seas is the characteristic of West Sea. In it, Gate to Heaven and Sky Terrace are wonderful scenes.Shentang ValleyShentang Valley is also named Shentang Fort. It is a gorge shaped like a huge basin walled by lofty precipices. The bottom of the gorge is veiled in mists and clouds all day, adding to its mysteriousness. As the saying goes, the most beautiful scene isseen from the most perilous peak. There are almost no roads to Shentang Valley, only a quite dangerous flight of stairs that is as wide as a foot being available. Local people say, " Every step kills one soul". In the center of the bottom lies a fathomless green pond. Looking down the pond from the mouth of the gorge, one can't help shivering. What's peculiar is that visitors can hear sounds of gongs and drums, neighs of battle steeds and shouts of men echoing from the bottom. Nobody can give a reasonable answer to this mystery. Therefore, Shentang Valley was a forbidden place in Wulingyuan and a puzzle for hundreds of years.Yangjiajie Nature ReserveThere are 110 scenic spots in Yangjiajie whose waters and mountains are quite beautiful. It has uniquely-shaped peaks and cliffs as well as clear streams and brooks and waterfalls; oblique "Twisted Mouth Cave" once inhabited by bandits as well as "Ghosts-feared Fort" which is extremely hard to climb. What's more, there are many unusual spectacles like Mati Rock, Tianbo Mansion, and Sisters' Gully. Its special views are beyond writing and seeing.Terraced fields in the AirA vast terraced field of more than 40 Qiu can be seen on the mountains where peaks stand beside peaks. The endless and closely linked terraced fields are as bright as mirror and have different colors in four seasons. It makes an apparent comparison with the green mountains and clear waters nearby, leaving you an impression that the fields are coming from the air. It thus gets its name. The First Bridge in the WorldIt is situated outside of Middle Ground on Yuangjiajie. Its height, its span and scaring degree are rare in the world, worth being called " the First Bridge in the World". It consists of two 300-meter huge peaks and a huge natural stone linking the two peaks. The stone is about 2-meter wide, more than 20 meters long, like a man-made slabstone. Pines stand straight on the bridge; old vines hang on the sides ofthe bridge. Under the bridge is the fathomless abyss. I once wrote down when crossing the bridge:" when I was on the bridge, I was terribly scared. Looking down, I saw the fathomless abyss. Watching around, I saw precipices and cliffs. Water as bright as snow splashed down quickly. I dropped a stone into the abyss and heard nothing. While I walked around the bridge, I felt dazzling with my hands and legs shivering. I told myself repeatedly to be careful and calm and not to be nervous. However, my heart was still beating heavily and quickly. I did not become calm until I went back to my residence in Middle Ground.Rich Resource PlaceZhangjiajie City occupies an area of 9653 square kilometers, which is 4.5% of total area in Hunan Province.
