一、完形填空

词义辨析解题说明：

词汇考查的重点是词义辨析，主要是对动词、形容词、名词等实词词义的辨析，并且尤其要注意一词多义。有很多同学记单词时只记最常用的那一个意思，但往往考试的时候，考查的却不是该单词的那一种含义。例如given，大家最熟悉的是 given是 give的过去分词，但given还有另外两个常用含义，一个是"特定的，假设的"（形容词），另一个是"鉴于"（介词），如：Given their inexperience, they did a good job. (鉴于他们缺乏经验，他们干得不错了。)

They were to meet at a given time and place. (他们将在规定的时间和地点会面。) 但也不乏把形状相近和意义相近的单词放在一起，以迷惑考生，这就要求考生在复习的时候要注意总结。所谓形近，就是几个单词"长"的差不多，不容易分辨。例如respective, respectful, respectable及respected这四个单词，都是形容词，很难区分。 总之，考生一定要注意掌握词汇的灵活运用，掌握一些构词法，因试题中有一些单词本身大纲词汇表中没有的，但其词源或衍生词都是大纲内词汇，只要掌握了大纲要求的构词法，这些词就不能算生词。众所周知，Practice makes perfect.(熟能生巧)，有效的记忆单词的方法就是不断重复，循环重复，才能达到有效的记忆。最后，希望大家都能树立信心，不要把词汇题想象得过于难，It's just a piece
