defeat/beat + 对手, win +比赛
三者都有战胜的意思
1)Defeat/beat + 宾语(对手)
They defeated the enemy in the battle. 他们在那次战斗中打败敌人
I think Jack can beat all the runners in the country.
我认为杰克可以胜过这个国家的所有赛跑选手
2)win的宾语是比赛、游戏或奖牌等
Their team has won the game.
他们队赢了这场比赛
win后面若跟表示人的宾语,是“说服,争取”的意思:
You have won me。你说服我了。

二、教学内容分析:本课通过交谈的形式让学生了解到李明要来加拿大做客,他的好朋友们要去机场接他时的情景。本节课是在为以后学习铺垫,基本可以让学生通过自学和小组讨论的形式解决课文内容。
