Instruction to download & install MX150/250 FAS Software (50P-1167)

20-Sept-2007 O-4086 Rev A Page 1 of 1 Dear customer, In order to obtain the latest version of GEZC’s MX150/250 FAS Software (50P-1167 Rev1.8), please follow the steps below. (Attention: This software is intended to be used for MX150/250 firmware version 6.0 ~ 6.5 only) Step 1: Move mouse to the bottom left of desktop, right click on ‘Start’. Then left click on ‘Explore’ to open a Window Explorer (not Internet Explorer). Step 2: Left click on the local drive “C:\TEMP”. Then create a sub folder called “50P-1167” within “C:\TEMP”. The path to the subfolder will become “C:\TEMP\50P-1167” Step 3: Before entering the link into an Internet Browser, please read the following: a) All characters in the link (shown in Step 3d) are case sensitive! b) Be sure to enter the 2 (two) symbols correctly. These are vertical bars ‘|’ and neither forward nor back slashes /publibrary/checkout/Software|50P-1167|generic c) The file size of the zip file is 5.1MB, downloading time will greatly depend on the Internet speed. d) Open an Internet Explorer (not Window Explorer) and enter the link below to download the zip file of interest (50P-1167 Rev1_8.zip) into the subfolder “C:\TEMP\50P-1167” created in Step 2. /publibrary/checkout/Software|50P-1167|generic Step 4: Extract all the files from the zip into the same subfolder (e.g. C:\temp\50P-1167) as created in Step 2. Step 5: In “C:\temp\50P-1167”, double click the file “setup.exe” and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the software installation.
