1 Unit 6 Meet my family!
The First Period
(A. Let's learn A. Let's play)
课时目标 1. 能听、说单词和词组“parents”,“cousin”,“uncle”,“aunt”和“baby brother”。
2. 能用句型“This is…”介绍自己的家庭成员,并用以前学过的句型“He's/She's…”描述这位成员的体貌特征。
3. 3.理清家庭成员之间的关系,能将称呼与人物对应。

一、课前热身
(Warm-up) 课堂口语练习。
T:Good morning/afternoon,boys and girls.
Ss:Good morning/afternoon,Mr/Miss…
T:Nice to see you.
Ss:Nice to see you,too.
二、课前预习
(Preview) 1. 做一做。
请几位学生上讲台表演自己的爸爸/妈妈/姐姐……其他学生猜一猜。
2.教师用课件出示自己的家庭照片,用句型“This is my…”,“She/He is…”进行介绍和描述。然后再让学生把自己的照片放在投影仪上,并尝试用句型“This is my…”,“She/He is…”进行介绍和描述。
三、新课呈现
(Presentation) A.Let's learn.
1. 教师与学生进行对话,如:
T:(呈现Amy的图片)Look at the picture.Who is she?
Ss:Amy. 2 T:Yes,she is Amy.She has big eyes.She's…(引导学生使用tall,short,strong,thin,long,big,small等形容词)
三、新课呈现
(Presentation)
(续) T:Do you like her?
Ss:Yes.
T:Me too.She asks us to go to her home.Let's go.
T:(呈现Amy家的全家福)How many people are there?
Ss:One,two,three…
T:They are Amy's family.(引出单词“family”)
2. 呈现Amy说的话:“Hi.Meet my family!”(带读句子)
3.T:Who is he?(指着Amy的爸爸)
Ss:Father.
T:He is…(引导学生用tall,short,strong,thin等形容词)
T:Who is she?
Ss:Mother.
T:She is…(引导学生用tall,short,strong,thin等形容词)
T:We can call father and mother parents.(引出单词“parents”)
4.T:do you know who your parents' sister is?She is aunt.
用同样的方法引出单词“uncle”和“cousin”的教学。
5.T:Now,boys and girls,listen carefully.Who is crying?(播放婴儿哭泣的声音)
Ss:Baby.
(呈现娃娃的图片,然后带读几遍,巩固所学单词)
四、趣味操练
(Practice) A.Let's play.
1. 教师让学生观察本部分的图片,介绍说:“Look at the hand in
the picture.There are five heads on the tip of the finger.This is Zhang
Peng's family.He tells about his family to John.”然后教师请一位学生站起来读一读Zhang Peng说的句子。
2. 让学生同桌合作,一个人扮演Zhang Peng,一个人扮演John。学生可以根据手指上所画的人物图片发挥自己的想象行对话,如:
Zhang:Look,this is my family.
John:Who's he?
Zhang:He's my grandfather.He's short and thin. 3 五、巩固延伸

Extension) 1. 教师描述自己的一位家庭成员,如“He is tall and thin.He's
old.He's friendly.Who's he?”让全班学生猜一猜是谁。如果学生猜错了,教师就说:“Sorry,you're wrong.”如果学生猜对了,教师就说:“Yes,you're right.”然后让学生在四人小组内依次描述自己的一位家人,让其他学生猜一猜。
2.教师说出一位家庭成员的名称,学生说出与其相对应的单词,如:father—mother,grandmother—grandfather,brother—sister,uncle—aunt等。

3.能在实际语言环境中灵活运用句型“How many…are
there?”并根据实际情况作出相应的回答。

2.师生先一起回忆已经学过的表示数字的英文单词。然后教师随意伸出几根手指,全班学生说出与其相应的英文单词。
二、课前预习
(Preview) 教师拿出自己的家庭照片介绍说:“This is my family
photo.Look,this is my dad.This is my mom.This is my grandpa and
this is my grandma.This is my brother.Oh,it's me.How many people
are there in my family?”
Ss:Six.
T:Who are they?
Ss:Your father,your mother,your grandpa,your grandma,your
brother and you.
T:You're right.
三、新课呈现
(Presentation) A.Let's talk.
1.教学句型“How many people are there in your family?”
教师用课件播放电视剧《家有儿女》片尾曲中的一小段后,用歌曲“One two three four five”的曲调询问:“How many people are
there in the family?”让学生观看短片并说出小雨所在家庭的人数。
T:Look!This is Xiaoyu's family.How many people are there in his
family?
Ss:Five.
T:Who are they?(用课件出示一张小雨家的全家福照片,引导学生一起回答)
Ss:Father,mother,sister,brother and Xiaoyu.
2.教师用课件出示自己家庭的全家福照片,用歌曲“One two
three four five”的曲调和学生进行对话练习,如:
T:Look!This is my family.How many people are there in the
family?
Ss:Four.
T:Who are they?
Ss:Your father,mother,brother and you.
