本 册 教 材 是 供 小 学 四 年 级 下 学 期 使 用 的 。 全 书 共 分 11 个 模 块 ， 内 含 一 个

期 末复 习 模 块 。 每 一 个 模 块 分 为 两 个 单 元 。 一 般 情 况 下 ， 第 一 单 元 呈 现

本 模 块 所 要学 习 的 语 言 内 容 ， 第 二 单 元 提 供 若 干 任 务 型 练 习 ， 包 括 一 首

歌 或 小 诗 。 歌 谣 或小 诗 的 学 习 ， 目 的 有 三 ： 一 是 培 养 学 生 的 语 感 和 节 奏

外 学 会 使 用 。 在 本 册 中 ， 我 们 将 学 习星 期 的 表 达 方 法 ， 谈 论 有 关 郊 游 的

情 况 ， 初 步 了 解 有 关 伦 敦 和 美 国 的 基 础 知识 ； 我 们 将 进 一 步 学 习 如 何 表

达 能 力 ， 如 何 谈 论 将 来 发 生 的 事 情 ； 我 们 还 将 学习 如 何 描 述 过 去 的 动 作

本 模 块 分 两 单 元 Unit 1 She's a nice teacher.anUnit 2 He's cool. 整 个 模 块 介 绍了 怎 样 描 述 人 物 的 性 格 特 征 ？ 要 求 学 生 能 够 用 简 单 的 句 子 对 好 友 的 性 格 、 外形 进 行 描 述 。 同 时 复 习 了 上 学 期 学 过 的 一 些 单 词 fat thin small big tall short ，从 而 引 出 naughty shy nice clever 等 几 个 新 单 词 。 在 本 模 块 中 ， 出 现 了 两 个 表 示

程 度 的 副 词 a bit very ， 分 别 表 示 ‘ 非 常 ’ 和 ‘ 有 一 点 儿 ’ 可 以 修 饰 后 面 的 形容 词 ， 鼓 励 学 生 在 造 句 时 使 用 适 当 的 副 词 。

Step 1 : Warm up

1) Sing a song.

Step 2: Learning and Practising

1 ） Listen and point

Tell the students open their books,and look at the first picture .Answer the

teacher's question"Is this a dog?"The students respond.No w, I'm going to play the

tape. I want you to listen and tell me who is nice?(The teacher plays the tape as

many times as necessary.)Write the ne w words on the blackboard: nice shy clever

naughty

The teachershould explain the neaning of these four words.nice: means

pleasant.shy: means nervous and embarrassed,especially when you are with people

you don't kno w.clever: means intelligent naughty: means badly behaved.Then the

teacher should make statements containing those words.

2)Listen and say

Please look at Acitivity2.I'm going to play the tape again. T his time I'm going

to pause it after each person speaks. Then I want you to repeat the sentence.Then

you will tell me thecorrect adjective to describe that person.(The teacher does

more exa mples with the class and al so with individual students.)

3) Point and say

Look at Acivity3,the teacher holds up the book and points to the

pictureofXiaoyong.Explain to the students that when we are some distance a way

fron an object or person, we must use 'that' instead of 'this'.And describes
