Product packagingProduct packaging plays an important role in the sale of the product. However there are many advantages and disadvantages about it.As for the advantages of product packaging ,I will show you from the following four aspects. First, protecting product, witch is the main function. Thinking of it carefully, during the whole circulation of the product leaving the factory to the users hands, there are problems of transportation and storage. The product may suffer from squeezing,collision, volatilization and so on. So packaging design is necessary. Second, increasing the sale.After packaging the product, what pours into the consumers’ eyes is not product itself but its packaging. If the product can attract their interests and arose their desire to buy, in a certain way, it depends on its packaging design. So the packaging become a “silent salesman”. Third, increasing additional value. Because of the increase of incoming and living standard, many consumers prefer to pay more money for the product’s convenience, sense of beauty, reliance and so on. So packaging design can also increase additional value.Of course,there are also some disadvantages about packaging design. First,to some extent, product packaging may pollute the environment. After using the product, because some packaging can not be recycled and it is thrown into the nature and causes pollution and at last causes soil degradation. Second, product packaging may also causes waste of resources to a certain degree. There is no doubt that packaging will use many resources.Product packaging has been an indispensable part of the modern economic life. When valuing the product packaging, at the same times, the enterprises should also pay attention to the disadvantages during the using process. So they should hold the”degree”.。
