例谈牛津初中英语welcome to the unit 板块的教学与反思作者：曹腊梅来源：《校园英语》 2019年第25期文/曹腊梅【摘要】初中牛津英语Welcome to the unit板块由漫画、图片和一个对话组成，其主要功能是激活学生与单元话题相关的已有知识，引导学生联系自己的亲身经历进行相关话题的讨论。
本文从单元功能整体性的角度出发，进行了一节初中牛津英语译林版welcome的课型探索，尝试通过利用情境教授词汇、引入学生调查、话题讨论等活动来深层次地激发学生的兴趣，并为后面板块的学习积累语言知识。

在日常教学中，老师们处理Welcome to the unit板块常见的做法有两种。
一是把它当做reading的导入环节，花四五分钟的时间讨论一下，然后过渡到reading。
二是把它和单词表结合到一起，主要用于学习单元词汇。
我认为这两种方式都没有发挥出welcome to the unit这一板块的功能，既没有真正激发学生对单元主题的兴趣，也没有为后面单元学习的展开做好铺垫。
鉴于此，我实行了一次welcome整体教学课型的研究课，尝试通过利用情境教授词汇、组织活动、拓展延伸等方式让学生对单元主题有清晰的了解，也让学生积累足够多的背景知识，为后面单元的语言学习做好准备。
以下均以初中牛津英语8B Unit 4 A good read Welcome to the unit为例。
一、教学内容分析本节课的教学内容是牛津初中英语8B Unit4第一课时。
这一单元的主题是A good read.在welcome部分，有6幅图画，代表了不同种类的书籍。
仔细分析教材不难发现这一单元的task部分就是一个调查学生读书类型和阐述自己最喜欢的书籍的活动。
我尝试将这两块和中心词汇的学习有机结合起来，作为welcome的主要教学内容。
