b)同义词：start
c)现在进行时形式：要双写n，也就是beginning
2.fan(noun 迷，狂热；扇子)
rge(adjective 大的)
4.invite(verb 邀请)
a)invite …to… 邀请某人…（可以是做某事，也可以是到某个地方）
【example】Xiaoming invites me to play basketball. 小明邀请我去打篮球。

【example】Xiaoming invites me to his home. 小明邀请我去他家。

5.heavy(adjective 重的)
a)反义词：light（轻的）

Part 3: Key points
Line 2 : look + 形容词看起来……（连系动词的用法）
Line 3: This is my first time to … 这是我第一次…
其中first 是序数词，表示第一，另外还有second(第二),third(第三)等等。

一般的序数词都是在数词后面加th，如six->sixth, ten->tenth。

特殊的序数词，除了first, second, third还有four->forth, five->fifth,
nine->ninth, twelve->twelfth等
Line 4: always 总是，还有usually 通常, often 经常, sometimes 偶尔, seldom 很少, never 从不
enjoy +动词的ing形式表示喜欢/享受做某事
Line 8: Don’t be afraid. 别紧张
【拓展】be afraid to 动词原形…害怕做某事be afraid of +动词ing形式… 不想做某事
Line 11: So will I. 我也是
So + am, is, are(be动词)/do, does, did（助动词）/will + 代词主格（I, you, he,
she, it, they, we）/人名……也一样
【拓展】So + 代词主格（I, you, he, she, it, they, we）/人名+ am, is, are(be动词)/do, does, did（助动词）/will 表示“的确如此”。

【example】-Xiaoming is a good student. 小明是个好学生
-So he is and so are you. 他的确如此，你也是。
