1. Translation
Translate the phrases on the screen.

Step Two Presentation
1. Listen to ABC song and sing together
2. Fill in the blanks according to the sequence of the letters.
3. English words are all made up of letters.Tell Ss to write
some words beginning with “a”and “b”.
4. Find the words in the dictionary and write down the page
num bers.
5. Discuss: Which word es first? Which one es nex t? Why?
6. The words in a dictionary are in alp habetical order from A
to Z .This helps us find the words quickly.
Look at the words on the blackboard .Because “a”es before “b” in alphabetical order,all the words beginning with
“a”es before the words beginning with “b”.in a
dictionary.

1. Put the words in Part A1 in alphabetical order and write
down the numbers 1-8 in the blanks.
