教学过程
Warm-up
1. Greeting and sing the song “Happy Halloween” together
2. Ask students: Do you like Halloween? Why or why not? Have them
share some of their likes and dislikes.
Presentation
1. Introduce the words and phrases: pumpkin, witch, hat, broomstick,
ghost, skeleton, spider
2. Play the audio and practice pronunciation.
3. Have students repeat after the teacher and try to use the words in
a sentence.
Practice
1. Practice the sentence pattern: What are you going to do for
Halloween?
2. Students work in pairs and ask and answer the question using the
words and phrases learned. 3. Teacher walks around and helps students who are struggling.
Production
1. Write a Halloween party invitation with the students.
2. Model the structure and brainstorm ideas for the invitation.
3. Students work in pairs and write their own invitation.
Extension
1. Play a Halloween Bingo game.
2. Have students make their own bingo cards and play in small groups.
3. The first student to get five in a row wins.
Homework
1. Review the words and phrases learned in class.
2. Write a short paragraph about what they plan to do for Halloween.
