Unit 4 I have a pen pal单元教学目标1.能力目标(1)学习询问和简单描述业余爱好的问答句:What are Peter’s hobbies? He likes reading stories.能够用一般现在时的一般疑问句形式询问他人的住处、工作等情况并作答:Does he live in Sydney? No, he doesn’t. Does he like doing word puzzles and going hiking? Yes,he does。
(2)能掌握四会单词:studies, puzzle, hiking。
(3)能听说认读单词或词组:penpal,hobby,jasmine,idea,Canberra,amazing,shall,goal,join,club,share。
(4)会唱歌曲《My new pen pal》。
2.知识目标(3)(1)能做到会听、说、读三会单词:pen pal,hobby,jasmine,idea,Canberra,amazing,shall,goal,join,club,share。
掌握四会单词:studies, puzzle, hiking。
(2)能听懂会说A、B部分Let’s learn和Let’s talk中的单词和句子,并能在实际中加以运用。
(3)理解Read and write、 Let’s check , Let’s wrap it upStory time部分的内容。
(4)会唱歌曲《My new pen pal》。
3.情感目标(1)通过学习如何表达自己和他人的兴趣爱好,鼓励学生发展广泛的兴趣与爱好,培养学生乐于与他人交往的性格。
(2)通过唱歌,提高学生的审美情趣。
第一课时教学内容:A. Let’s learn A. Do a survey教学目标:1.能听说读写本课的主要单词或词组:dancing, singing, reading stories, playing footing, doing kung fu。
2.能够运用句子:W3.会唱歌曲《My new pen pal》。
教学重点1.主要单词或词组:dancing, singing, reading stories, playing football, doing kung 句子:What are your hobbies? I like…教学难点:动词ing形式的不同变化。
教具准备:单词卡片、录音机和磁带教学过程:(一)热身、复习 (Warm-up/Revision)1、Sing the song: Hush, little boy.活动方式:教师播放歌曲录音,学生边唱歌曲,边随着音乐做动作。
(二)复习1.活动:我演你猜活动方式:教师通过表演表现一些单词或词组,学生通过教师的表情、动作猜猜老师表演的单词或词组。
如:dance, sing, read stories, play football, do kung fu, draw some pictures, see a film…2.师生对话T:(教师模拟画画的动作)Guess, what am I doing?S1:You’re drawing a picture.T:Yes.I like drawing pictures. Do you like drawing pictures?S1:No,I don’t.T:What are your hobbies?S1:I like playing football.…(三)呈现新课(Presentation)1.教学新单词:hobbyT: I like reading books. Do you like reading books?S1: Yes,I do.T: Oh,your hobby is reading books.板书:hobby,带读后hobby,让学生说出它的复数形式,提醒学生:改写为复数时应把y变成i再加es。
2.教学句型:What are your hobbies? I like…(1)通过问答引出句型:What are your hobbies? I like…T: I like reading books and singing, My hobby are reading books and singing. What are your hobbiesS1: I like drawing pictures and dancing.S2: I like playing football and singing.S3: I like fishing and swimming.教师板书:What are your hobbies? I like…(2)Say the chant:Singing,singing, I like singing.Dancing,dancing, I like dancing.Drawing ,drawing,I like drawing.Fishing,fishing,I like fishing.Swimming,swimming,I like swimming.活动方式:学生边说边做动作。
(3)教师利用课件呈现动词-形式的变化规律:1.在动词后面直接加-ing. 如:go–going work- working2.以不发音的字母结尾的动词,要去掉再加。
如:make –making write - writing3.以重读闭音节结尾,末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词,要双写这一辅音字母,再加。
如;run – running swim – swimming3.教学A. Let’s learn(1)教师播放A. Let’s learn 的课文录音,学生静听,理解对话内容。
(2)然后教师播放A. Let’s learn 的课文录音,学生边听边跟读。
四、巩固与拓展1.教学Let’s sing:My new pen pal(1) 教师播放歌曲录音,学生静听。
(2)再次播放歌曲录音,让学生小声跟唱,体会歌曲的节奏。
(3)继续播放歌曲录音,让学生大声跟唱。
(4)让学生配上动作边表演边唱。
2.教学A. Do a survey活动方式:教师事先设计好问卷调查的表格,学生四人一组,调查每个组员的兴趣爱好,最后每组派出一位学生向全班介绍调查结果。
3.活动:I’m a super star!活动方式:教师利用课件出示明星的一些剪影,全班一起向他/她发问:What are your hobbies? 通过明星的回答,猜猜他/她是谁。
五、家庭作业1、听录音,跟读对话。
2、用所学句型,调查家人的兴趣爱好。
3、默写四会单词两遍。
第二课时教学内容:A. Let’s try A. Let’s talk教学目标: 1.复习单词或词组:dancing, singing, reading stories, playing footing, doing kung fu。
2.能听、说、读、写句子:What are Peter’s hobbies?He likes reading stories.3. 能听、说、认读单词: jasmine, idea ,He lives on a farm, so sometimes he reads to the cows! I’m going to teach him the Chinese song Jasmine flower!教学重点1.学习句子:What are Peter’s hobbies?He likes reading stories.教学难点:会说句子:He lives on a farm, so sometimes he reads to the cows! (二)复习1.复习单词或词组:dancing, singing, reading stories, playing football, doing kung fu。
教师先出示单词卡片,抽读这五个单词,然后再出示图片,让学生看图说单词。
2.唱双簧活动方式:教师事先准备好一些小纸条,请上两名学生,从事先准备的小纸条中抽出一张。
一人蹲下念纸条上的文字,另一人将所念的内容表演出来,共同完成“双簧”表演,然后请其他同学复述听到的内容,看看谁复述得最准确。
如:I like reading books and singing。
At the weekend I often go to the library by bus. I can read storybooks there.
