一、教学目标

六、教学步骤
1. Warming up
• Greeting: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today?
2. Presentation
• Introduce new words: playing, orchestra, suona, rhythm.
• Teach new sentence: “He’s playing the suona, but the phone
rings.”
• Play the recording and have students repeat after the audio.
3. Practice
• Listen and repeat the sentence several times.
• Ask students to practice the sentence in pairs.
• Write the sentence on the blackboard and have students read it out.
4. Production
• Talk about suona and Chinese traditional music with students.
• Show pictures of suona and play the sound of it to let students
have a better understanding of the instrument.
• Ask students to discuss what they think of the suona and how it
makes them feel.
5. Extension
• Have students write a short paragraph about their favorite musical
instrument.
• Share their paragraphs with the class.
6. Consolidation
• Summarize what have been learned in class.
• Give a quiz to test the students’ understanding of the new words
