网络摄像机-视频服务器安装设置教程一：什么叫网络视频服务器和网络摄像机？用什么作用？1：网络摄像机网络摄像机是传统摄像机与网络视频技术相结合的新一代产品，除了具备一般传统摄像机所有的图像捕捉功能外，机内还内置了数字化压缩控制器和基于WEB的操作系统，使得视频数据经压缩后，通过局域网，internet或无线网络送至终端用户。

从外部结构来看，目前市面上的网络摄像机有一种为内嵌镜头的一体化机种，这种网络摄像机的镜头是固定的，不可换；另外一种则可以根据需要更换标准的C/CS型镜头，只是C型镜头必须与一个CS-C转换器搭配安装。

但从内部构成上说，无论是哪种机型，网络摄像机的基本结构大多都是由镜头，滤光器、影像传感器、图像数字处理器、压缩芯片和一个具有网络连接功能的服务器所组成。

什么是网络视屏服务器及其技术特点？—成都美联诚科技有限公司第一，网络视频服务器概念网络视频服务器(DVS,digital video server)，又叫数字视频编码器，是一种压缩、处理音视频数据的专业网络传输设备，由音视频压缩编解码器芯片、输入输出通道、网络接口、音视频接口、RS485串行接口控制、协议接口控制、系统软件管理等构成，主要是提供视频压缩或解压功能，完成图象数据的采集或复原等,目前比较流行的基于MPEG-4或H.264的图像数据压缩通过Internet网络传输数据以及音频数据的处理。

第二，网络视频服务器技术特点网络视频服务器由于具有独立完成网络传输功能，不需要另外设置计算机，故其能实现简单的IP方式组网，是传统的模拟监控所无法实现的。

每部网络视频服务器具有网段内唯一IP地址，通过网络连接方便方便对该设备(IP地址)进行控制管理，也即通过IP地址识别、管理、控制该网络视频服务器所连接的视频源，故其组网只是简单的IP网络连接，新增一个设备只需要增加一个IP地址，极大的方便了原由模拟系统的网络升级改造和其他网络需求情况。

IP组网是网络视频服务器的特性，但是由于国内IP地址资源的贫乏，目前国内的经济性宽带(ADSL、有线宽带等)都采用动态IP方式上网，这就使得网络视频服务器需要解决上网问题，网络视频服务器基本上都能采用域名方式来支持DDNS(动态IP)，如果网络视频服务器不支持域名解析，则需要额外增加昂贵的网络使用成本。

由于网络视频服务器的工作可以不需要外置的计算机，故网络视频服务器能独立自动上网就很有必要，否则一台网络视频服务器配置一台计算机来实现拨号则失去了网络视频服务器的意义。

目前国内的网络视频服务器基本上都能够实现该功能，如网视通产品专门为国内宽带情况而设计的ADSL自动拨号技术则非常方便的。
