如：How does Li Lei usually go to school? 李雷通常怎样去学校？（3）另外也可以询问天气。

How的疑问句辨析一、单独用作疑问词。
1．问身体健康等情况。

4. how about用于提出建议或征求对方的意见，与what about一致，肯定回答可用OK/All right/Good idea等，否定回答可用Sorry并陈述理由。

5. how long 询问物品的长度，译为“多长”，也可询问动作持续的时间，译为“多久”。

注意：how long 引导的疑问句要用持续性动词。
7）how often (多少时间一次) 询问事情发生的频度;How often do you write to your parents? 你多久给你父母写一次信？---Once a month. 每月一次。
注意：how long 也可以问长度。
如：How long is the bridge？这桥多长？8）how soon (过多久以后)：How soon will the film end? 电影什么时候结束？How soon will he come back？他多久回来啊？注意：how soon 引导的疑问句中不能用持续性动词，如：live, study, work等。
How引导的特殊疑问句
一how 作疑问副词，可以表示in what way or manner (如何、怎样或者怎么)

4. Do you know how the word is spelt?
5. How are things going at the moment?
6. --How do you come to school?
--I come to school on foot/by bus/by bike/by car.

二how可以表示in what state of health; in what condition健康情况怎么样；情况如何

四几个容易混淆的how引导疑问句
1. how long 的意思是“多长”，既可以对时间概念提问，也可以引导空间概念。
How far强调的是两者之间的距离，意思是“多远”
1) How long does it take you to come to school?
It usually takes me 10 minutes to ride to school.
2) How long is the classroom?
It is 13 metres long/in length.
3）How far is your home?
It’s about 10 kilometres away from here.
2. how long意思“多长时间”是对一个时间段进行提问。
而how soon的意思更接近“多长时间以后”
1) How long will James be away on business?
He will be away on business for a month.
2) How soon will James be away on business?
He will be away on business in a month.
3. how often的意思是“多长时间一次”，主要对做事的频度提问。
