推荐一座城市旅游英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite City to Visit - London!Hi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite city to visit - the amazing London in England! I went there with my family last summer and we had the best time ever. London is huge, with so many fun things to see and do. I can't wait to go back again someday!First of all, London is home to the Queen of England! How cool is that? We got to visit Buckingham Palace and see where the Queen lives. The palace is absolutely gigantic with 775 rooms! We didn't get to go inside unfortunately, but we watched the Changing of the Guard ceremony outside which was really neat. The guards were dressed in those funny red uniforms and tall black hats. They march around in a very silly way but aren't allowed to laugh or smile at all. I tried making goofy faces at them to see if I could make them crack up but no luck! After Buckingham Palace, we went to see some other famous sights around London. We rode the double decker redbuses which was so fun sitting up top and getting views over the whole city. We got to see Big Ben up close which is the huge clock tower that everyone knows about. It's one of the most famous landmarks in London. We also walked across the iconic Tower Bridge which is the one that opens and closes in the middle for big ships to pass through. I felt like I was in a movie scene!Another highlight was visiting the Tower of London. This is a massive castle right in the middle of the city! It has been around since the 1000s and has a dark history of prisoners being held and even executed there. We got to see the Crown Jewels which are the valuable diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and other precious gems owned by the royal family. They were absolutely dazzling behind the thick glass cases. At the Tower we also met the famous ravens - there are several ravens that live there and legend says the kingdom will fall if they ever leave! The big black birds looked pretty creepy to me.One of my personal favorite parts of our London trip was going to the museums. I love museums and London has some of the best in the world that are also free to visit! We spent a whole day at the Natural History Museum which was awesome seeing all the dinosaur skeletons and exhibits about ancient life. Mymind was blown by the massive blue whale model hanging from the ceiling. We also checked out the Science Museum which had so many fun interactive displays to learn about technology, space, engineering and more in a really hands-on way.Another day we went to the British Museum which I wasn't that excited about at first, but ended up being super fascinating. They have artifacts and treasures from all over the world and throughout human history. I gawked at the Egyptian mummies, read about the Rosetta Stone that helped decode hieroglyphs, and saw remnants of ancient Greek and Roman sculptures. My favorite though were the Elgin Marbles - huge pieces of intricate sculptures that used to be part of the Parthenon in Greece! It was amazing getting to see those up close. As if that wasn't enough awesome stuff in London, we also made sure to check out the entertainment and shopping districts. One day we went to Piccadilly Circus which is like the Times Square of London - completely filled with massive illuminated billboards, bright lights, street performers and crowds of people. We did a tour of the West End theater district and got to go inside one of the historic playhouses where we learned about legendary writers like Shakespeare putting on shows hundreds of years ago.Another area we loved was Covent Garden which used to be a big produce market but is now an upscale shopping and dining area. We wandered around the small boutiques, street vendors, restaurants and watched performers putting on shows in the piazza area. I tried my first Scotch egg there which was interesting - a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage!Oh and I can't forget about the Harry Potter connections in London! We took a Harry Potter themed walking tour which showed us places that inspired settings in the books and movies like Leadenhall Market which resembles Diagon Alley. We also went to Platform 9 3/4 in King's Cross Station and got our picture pushing a cart through the wall! Total bucket list item for a devoted Harry Potter fan like me.With all the amazing sights, museums, shopping and more, you'll definitely work up an appetite in London. That's no problem because they have incredible food from all over the world. We feasted on classic British dishes like fish and chips, Shepard's pie, bangers and mash (sausages and mashed potatoes), and meat pies. YUM! For dessert, we indulged in warm scones with clotted cream, treacle tarts, and spotted dick (I know, funny name!). We also branched out and tried delicious Indiancurries, Turkish kebabs, Italian wood-fired pizzas and more. The diversity of food in London is out of this world.London is very easy to navigate too thanks to the famous Underground or "Tube" system of rail lines running under the streets. The Tube makes it a piece of cake to get around the huge city quickly and efficiently. We just had to follow the color coded lines to reach our destinations. The double decker buses were also super convenient for getting around parts of London we couldn't easily walk between. One slight downside to visiting London is that it's quite expensive compared to many other cities in Europe. Eating out, attractions, shopping and hotels can really add up quickly and drain your vacation budget if you're not careful. But I still say it's 100% worth it for all the amazing things to experience there! Perhaps my family will take me back for my 10th birthday coming up - hint hint to my parents if they're reading this!I could honestly go on and on about all the fantastic things to see and do in London, but I think you get the idea. It is hands down my favorite city that I've visited so far. Between the iconic landmarks and sights, world-class museums, lively entertainment districts, incredible food scene and overall energy of the city, London has something for everyone. You'll never run out of newthings to discover or experiences to soak in. I've been bitten by the travel bug thanks to my amazing London adventure and can't wait to explore more incredible places around the world. But London will forever hold a special place in my heart!篇2My Favorite City: LondonHave you ever visited a city that just makes you feel happy and excited? A city that's full of interesting things to see and do? For me, that city is London, the capital of England. I went there last summer with my family, and it was the best trip ever! Let me tell you all about it.First of all, London is a really old city with so much history. It's been around for almost 2,000 years! Can you imagine how many cool things have happened there over all that time? One of the first places we visited was the Tower of London. It's a huge castle right in the middle of the city, and it used to be a prison. We got to see the Crown Jewels there, which are the fancy diamonds and jewels that belong to the Queen. They were so sparkly and beautiful!Another really old and famous place we went to was Westminster Abbey. It's a huge church where lots of Kings andQueens have been crowned and buried. The architecture is just breathtaking, with tall arched ceilings and intricate stone carvings everywhere you look. It almost felt like stepping back in time to the Middle Ages. But London isn't just about old buildings and history. It's also a really vibrant, modern city with tons of fun things for kids to do. One of my favorite places was the London Eye, which is a giant Ferris wheel right on the banks of the River Thames. We got to go up in a glass capsule and see the whole city from way up high. The views were incredible!Another highlight was the Natural History Museum, which has dinosaur skeletons, gemstones, and all sorts of cool exhibits about the natural world. I loved seeing the giant T-Rex skeleton and learning about how paleontologists dig up fossils. The museum also has an amazing life-sized model of a blue whale, which is the biggest animal that has ever existed on Earth! We also got to experience some of London's famous parks and outdoor spaces. Hyde Park is huge, with beautiful gardens, lakes, and even a few friendly squirrels running around. We had a picnic there one afternoon and just soaked up the sunshine and fresh air. Another park we visited was Kensington Gardens, whichhas a really cool playground with a massive pirate ship that kids can climb on and explore. No visit to London would be complete without trying some of the delicious food. We had fish and chips (which are French fries, but they call them "chips" in England), and I tried my first meat pie. It was kind of like a savory pastry filled with beef and vegetables, and it was so yummy! We also had afternoon tea one day, which is a very British tradition where you drink tea and eat little sandwiches and sweet treats like scones and cakes. It was the perfect way to take a break from all the sightseeing.Overall, I just fell in love with London on this trip. It's such an exciting and vibrant city with so much history and culture, but also plenty of modern attractions and things for kids to enjoy. From the amazing museums and historical sites to the fun parks and activities, there's something for everyone in London. Plus, the people were all so friendly and welcoming.I could go on and on about all the cool things we did and saw, but I'll stop there. If you ever get a chance to visit London, I highly recommend it! Just make sure to pack some comfortable walking shoes, because there's so much to see and explore. Who knows, maybe you'll even spot the Queen driving by in her fancycar! London is truly a magical place, and I can't wait to go back someday.篇3My Favorite City to Visit: London!Hi friends! I've been really lucky that my family has taken me to London a few times and I always have the best time there. It's such an incredible place with so many fun things to see and do. Let me tell you all about it!First of all, London is simply massive. It's one of the biggest cities in the whole world with over 8 million people living there! But it doesn't just feel like one huge city. Instead, it's made up of lots of really cool and different neighborhoods that all have their own unique character. From the hustle and bustle of the City of London financial district, to the trendy cafes and shops of Shoreditch, to the gorgeous Georgian townhouses of Mayfair - there are so many areas to explore. Then there's the River Thames winding through the heart of the city. You can take a ride on the Thames River Bus or even go under the river through the pedestrian tunnel at Greenwich! Speaking of Greenwich, that's one of my favorite places with theamazing National Maritime Museum, the Prime Meridian Line, and the beautiful Greenwich Park with deer roaming around. So cool!London has some of the best museums in the entire world too. The Natural History Museum is fantastic with its huge dinosaur skeletons and the Wildlife Garden is lovely on a sunny day. The Science Museum is superb for getting hands-on with experiments and seeing some mindblowing technology. And the British Museum? Wow - you could spend days in there looking at mummies, the Rosetta Stone, samurai armor, and artifacts from all corners of the globe!London is really a shopper's paradise as well. You have the iconic Harrods department store which is like a museum in itself. The massive Westfield malls have every single store you could want. And then there are the cool markets like Camden Market which sell amazing food, clothing, antiques and more. I bought a classic London bus statue which is one of my prized souvenirs! And let's not forget about the food! London has absolutely amazing restaurants from super fancy Michelin-starred places to cozy pubs serving up bangers and mash. The diversity of cuisines is awesome too - you can find delicious Indian curries, flavourful Italian pasta, fresh and zingy Japanese sushi, and pretty muchany type of food you can imagine. San Francisco is a city full of fun things to see and do. From the Golden Gate Bridge to cable cars to Fisherman's Wharf, there's something for everyone. Let me tell you all about my favorite parts of this incredible city! One of the first places I love to go in San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge. This huge orange bridge stretching across the bay is one of the most famous bridges in the whole world. It's so tall that ships can sail right underneath it! On a clear day, you can walk or bike across and get amazing views of the city skyline on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. Just be sure to dress warmly because it can get really windy and foggy up there.Speaking of fog, another cool thing about San Francisco is the cable cars. These are old-fashioned streetcars that are pulled along by underground cables instead of engines. Riding the cable cars is like going back in time over a hundred years! You can pretend to be in the Old West as you hang off the outside rails going up and down the steep hills. Just make sure to hang on tight! The drivers are really skilled at working the big levers and brakes. My favorite place to walk around and explore is Fisherman's Wharf. This waterfront neighborhood is filled with amazing sights, sounds, and smells. You can watch fishermen bringing in their catch of crabs and other seafood fresh from the bay. Then you can eat delicious clam chowder or fish and chips from the many restaurants. Be sure to try one of the fresh sourdough bread bowls - they are so yummy! You can also see playful sealions lounging on the docks and barking loudly. And don't forget to stop and listen to the street performers juggling, playing music, or making funny jokes and tricks.Another super cool activity in San Francisco is going to Alcatraz Island. This little island in the bay used to be the site of a famous federal prison. You can take a ferry ride across the water to tour the old cell blocks and learn about the escaped prisoners and prison riots that happened there. It's a little spooky but really fascinating! Just be glad you don't have to stay locked up there.San Francisco has amazing parks and museums too. Golden Gate Park feels like a whole forest right inside the city with tons of hiking trails, playgrounds, gardens, and even a Japanese tea garden. The Exploratorium is one of the best hands-on science museums where you can do all kinds of experiments and learn about how the world works. And the California Academy of Sciences has an incredible rainforest dome, planetarium, and aquarium all under one roof.I could go on and on about all the amazing things to do in San Francisco. From the incredible views and historic sights to the fun activities and delicious food, it's one of the most exciting cities I've ever visited. 推荐所在城市的旅游景点英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Here's a 2000-word essay recommending tourist attractions in your city, written from the perspective of an elementary school student in English:My Awesome City and Its Great Places to VisitMy city is the best city in the whole world! There are so many fun and interesting places to go and things to see. If you ever come to visit, I'll be your tour guide and show you around all the coolest spots.First, you have to go to the Big Park right in the middle of downtown. It's huge, with lots of tall trees, pretty flowers, and a big pond where you can feed the ducks. My favorite part is the playground – it has the tallest slides and spinny-estmerry-go-rounds ever! After running around for a while, we can get ice cream from the cart near the entrance. They have every flavor you can imagine – chocolate, strawberry, mint chip, bubble gum, and more!Next up is the Children's Museum. This place is made just for kids like us to explore and learn in the most fun ways possible. One room is all about science, with cool experiments you can try and a fake fossil dig site. Another room is like a mini city with shops, a bank, a restaurant, and even little cars to drive on the streets. My favorite is the art room where you can paint, sculpt with clay, and make all kinds of creative masterpieces. Trust me, you'll never want to leave! If you like animals, we simply have to visit the Zoo. It has every kind of creature – huge elephants, tall giraffes, roaring lions, slithery snakes, and so many more. The zoo also has amazing shows where you can see the animals do tricks and learn all about them from the trainers. Don't forget to stop by the petting zoo area so you can actually touch and feed some of the smaller, tamer animals like goats, bunnies, and ponies. Are you getting tired yet? Don't worry, there's still so much left to talk about! We can't miss the outdoor waterpark that's open during the summer. There are waterslides taller than skyscrapers, a huge wave pool that makes you feel like you're at the beach, a long lazy river to float along, and plenty of smaller splash areas for little kids. Bring your swimsuit and be ready to get soaked! For a change of pace, we can go to the History Museum downtown. I know museums can be kind of boring sometimes, but this one is actually really cool. You get to explore life-size exhibits of what our city looked like hundreds of years ago, see artifacts from the past, and even watch a 3D movie about our city's founding. Who knew learning about history could be so fun?Last but not least, we have to check out our city's amusement park – Roller Coaster Land! As you can guess from the name, it has the most incredible roller coasters that zip around curves, upside down loops, and crazy drops at super fast speeds. If you're feeling really brave, you can ride the tallest coaster that's over 200 feet high! Of course, there are also tamer rides for younger kids or for those (like me!) who get a bit too scared sometimes. You can play games to win prizes, eat cotton candy and funnel cakes, and watch live shows with stunts and acrobats. Roller Coaster Land is the perfect place to spend an entire day of thrills and excitement.Phew, I think that covers all the best attractions in my awesome city! As you can see, there's something fun for absolutely everyone here, no matter what you're into. We have beautiful parks, hands-on museums, cool animals, splashywaterparks, fascinating history, and hair-raising amusement park rides. Who could ask for anything more? When you come visit, I'll give you and your family a personal tour of all these great places. Just be ready for lots of walking and an amazing time! My city is the perfect spot for any vacation. It'll give you memories to last a lifetime. Now, what are you waiting for? Start planning your trip today – I'll be waiting to show you around my wonderful, thrilling, one-of-a-kind city!篇2My Awesome City and Where to Go!Hi friends! My name is Alex and I live in the best city ever. I'm going to tell you all about the coolest places to go if you come visit. Get ready to have your mind blown!First up, we have the Science Museum. This place is out of this world! You can see real rockets and spaceships up close. My favorite is the space shuttle – it's ginormous! They have awesome shows in the planetarium where you can learn about stars, galaxies, and weird sci-fi alien worlds. Make sure to check out the dinosaur exhibit too with massive skeletons and fossil digs. My little brother always wants to be a paleontologist after we go. Don't miss the hands-on experiment stations eitherwhere you can make things fizz, freeze, and even explode! They've got an earthquake simulator that makes everything shake like crazy. I felt like I was going to fall over! The Science Museum is stellar and I never want to leave.Next, you've got to go see the Zoo! We have over 2,000 amazing animals from all around the world. I love the gorillas because they look so human-like and goofy. The monkeys are hilarious too, swinging around and making funny noises. But my absolute favorite is the giant pandas. They're these roly-poly black and white bear guys that just lounge around munching bamboo all day. They're ridiculously cute and cuddly-looking, even though you can't actually cuddle them because they could accidentally squash you with their strong bear arms! We also have huge snakes, fierce tigers, tall giraffes, and lumbering elephants. I always beg my parents to adopt every single cute furry animal, but they never let me. One day I'm gonna run that zoo!If you love adventures and being outside, you have to visit the Nature Preserve. It's this gigantic forest and wetlands area right in the middle of the city with tons of hiking trails, wildlife, and places to explore. Make sure to bring your swimsuit so you can splash around in the creek and swimming hole. I loveclimbing on the big rocks and boulders too. My friends and I pretend we're exploring unmapped wilderness looking for hidden treasure and battles beasts. You can rent canoes or kayaks there and paddle around looking for beavers, turtles, frogs, and bald eagles soaring overhead. There's even a tree house village with ziplines and rope bridges that you can climb around on. It's like a real-life jungle gym in the treetops! Just watch out for the mud puddles. I've gotten stuck up to my knees in those more times than I can count. For a totally different adventure, you should ride the City Metro. Our underground train is awesome and takes you all over the place. You have to get one of those fancy re-loadable passes from the kiosk. Then you can zoom all across the city with no traffic jams like on the bus or in a car. I love staring out the windows as we race through the tunnels and watching the tunnel walls whiz by. Just make sure to hold on tight around the sharp turns so you don't go flying! We have really cool glass elevators too that slowly rotate as they take you up to the surface levels. That's my favorite part - watching the whole city spin around through those glass walls as you ascend. It's dizzying but thrilling! Pay attention to all the colorful mosaics and artwork at each station too. They're stunning! And make sure to stop at the Museum Station. From the platform, there's an aquarium viewingwindow where you can watch sharks and giant turtles swimming around. Just give a tap on the glass and they might swim up and say hi!Lastly, we have to talk about the City Park. It's over 500 acres of rolling green meadows, flower gardens, and walking paths. We have these enormous ponds called lakes that you can rent paddleboats or feed the ducks at. My grandpa and I will bring bags of old stale bread and the ducks flock around us looking for handouts. Just don't let them nibble your fingers! Those duck bills are powerful! We have tons of playgrounds too with crazy tall slides, swing sets, and jungle gyms. There's even a special toddler playground for little kids. But I think the most fun is renting bikes or surreys and riding all over the paths. You can pedal for miles and miles and explore every nook and cranny of the park. We have outdoor movies on the lawn at night too sometimes, which is super cool. Just bring a picnic blanket, some snacks, and enjoy the show under the stars! Our city fireworks display on the 4th of July is legendary too. You'll definitely want to catch that if you're visiting in the summer. So those are just a few of my favorite spots around town. I hope you can come and explore soon! Just be prepared for anoverdose of awesomeness. My city truly is the greatest place on earth!篇3My Awesome City and the Cool Places to VisitHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. My name is Jamie and I live in the best city ever - San Francisco! San Francisco is a city in California which is one of the states in the United States. It's right on the Pacific Ocean and has the most beautiful views. There are so many fun things to doand see in my city. Let me tell you about some of my favorite spots! The Golden Gate BridgeThis is probably the most famous landmark in San Francisco. It's a huge bright orange bridge that goes across the San Francisco Bay. Whenever I see it, I'm like "Wow, that's so cool!" The bridge is really long - over a mile across! You can walk or bike across the bridge and get amazing views of the city skyline and the Pacific Ocean. At night, the bridge lights up and looks so pretty. Definitely a must-see!Fisherman's WharfFisherman's Wharf is right on the waterfront and there's always a lot going on there. You can watch street performers, grab a delicious clam chowder bread bowl, or go shopping. My favorite part is the sea lions! They just hang out on these docks and bark really loudly. It's so funny to watch them! You can also go on a boat cruise from here to see Alcatraz Island or go sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge.ExploratoriumThe Exploratorium is this huge science museum with over 600 exhibits. You can touch, tinker and play with everythingwhich makes learning science super hands-on and fun. Some of the coolest exhibits are the pitch black maze, the outdoor exhibits that let you experiment with wind and waves, and the living roof covered in plants! I love spending full days here just exploring.Golden Gate ParkGolden Gate Park is a massive park right in the city - even bigger than New York's Central Park! There's tons of stuff packed into this park. You can visit the Japanese Tea Garden, the Conservatory of Flowers full of exotic plants, or the California Academy of Sciences which has an awesome rainforest exhibit. My favorite areas are the gardens and playgrounds though. The Japanese Garden is so peaceful and pretty. And the big playground has a century-old carousel to ride!ChinatownChinatown is the oldest Chinatown in the United States and one of the biggest Chinese communities outside of Asia. It's like being transported to China with all the gates, pagoda buildings, shops and signs in Chinese. I love walking along Grant Avenue which is the main street. You've got to stop and get dim sum which are little plates of dumplings and other yummy Chinese dishes. The Chinese New Year parade here is amazing too! There's truly endless exploring to do in San Francisco. From iconic sights like the Golden Gate Bridge to amazing parks, museums and cultural neighborhoods - this city has it all. I feel so lucky to live somewhere with such a awesome mix of nature, history, food and fun activities all packed into one place. Get ready for an awesome adventure!First up is the science museum. This place is mind-blowingly fun! You can see real rockets and pretend to be an astronaut. There's an earthquake simulator that makes the ground shake like crazy. My favorite part is the bubble room where you get to go inside a giant bubble! It's like being in your very own fishbowl. The science museum teaches you all kinds of weird and wacky facts in a way that doesn't feel like learning at all.Another must-see is the city zoo. We've got every animal you can imagine! Huge elephants, sleepy sloths, bouncing kangaroos, and more. I really love the monkey house becausethose silly primates are always pulling hilarious faces and scratching themselves. The bird aviary is beautiful too with all the bright feathers and bird songs. Make sure to check the schedule for animal feedings and shows. Last time I went, I got to see the zookeepers給给feed the hungry lions huge hunks of meat! For a real taste of our city's history, downtown is where it's at. Lots of the old buildings have been preserved from way back when. My favorite is the quirky leaning courthouse. It's all crooked from an earthquake ages ago! You can actually go inside and see the slanted floors and walls. Just don't drop a marble or it might never stop rolling. The horse-drawn carriage tours around the historic neighborhoods are fun too. The drivers are always happy to share interesting stories from the city's past.If you're looking for something a little more active, there are tons of awesome parks and hiking trails nearby. Emerald Peak is my go-to for a quick morning hike with beautiful views of the whole city below. Bring a camera because the sunrises from up there are out-of-this-world! Redwood Forest is great for a longer adventure exploring the ancient trees and trickling streams. Just watch out for banana slugs - those bright yellow slimers are everywhere! No visit to our city is complete without checking out the world-famous food scene. For an epic sweet treat, Candy Land is a wonderland of chocolatey delights. From fudgy truffles to tart gummies, they've got it all under one roof. 用英文介绍青岛最喜欢的景点作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Places in QingdaoHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a student in 5th grade here in Qingdao. I absolutely love living in this beautiful coastal city. There are so many amazing places to explore and have fun. Today I want to tell you all about my three favorite spots in Qingdao! The First Place is Zhanqiao PierZhanqiao Pier is one of the most iconic sights in Qingdao. It's a super long pier that extends way out into the Yellow Sea. I love walking or biking down the 440 meter path to the very end to take in the incredible views of the ocean all around me. On a clear day, you can see for miles across the bright blue water. My favorite time to visit is in the evening when the pier is all lit up with colorful lights that reflect beautifully on the water's surface. It looks so magical! Sometimes local performers will be out there playing music or doing dances which is really neat towatch. And there are lots of snack vendors selling yummy treats like sugar rabbits on a stick. I always beg my parents to buy me one!At the entrance to the pier, there is a big sculpture of a stone sailor facing out towards the sea. Legend has it that he is waiting for his lost love to return from a long voyage. It's a romantic story and the statue has become the symbol of Qingdao. Taking a photo in front of it is a must when visiting!Next Up is Badaguan Scenic AreaAnother one of my favorite Qingdao spots is Badaguan, which means "Eight Passes" in English. It's an area located on the coastline with lots of winding paths and amazing views from up on the hillsides overlooking the ocean. You can spend hours exploring all the different routes and discovering quiet coves tucked away between the rocky cliffs. One of the coolest things about Badaguan is all the unique sculptures and rock carvings scattered everywhere you look. There are giant stones carved into animal shapes like dragons, lions, and phoenixes. And several of the paths have ornate archways and pavilions built right into the mountainside. Everything looks so ancient and meaningful.I really enjoy packing a picnic lunch and hiking around Badaguan with my family. We'll stop to eat at one of the viewing platforms and watch the waves crashing against the shore far below us. Sometimes we see brave swimmers splashing in the emerald green waters. It all feels like something out of a fairy tale book! And Last but Not Least...Qingdao AquariumOf all the places in Qingdao, the aquarium is definitely my #1 favorite. As soon as you walk in the front doors, it's like entering an underwater wonderland. Everywhere you look there are massive tanks filled with all sorts of incredible marine life swimming all around you. So many bright colors and crazy looking creatures! The main open ocean tank is easily the most impressive display. It's a gigantic cylinder filled with over 3 million liters of water and hundreds of different fish species like sharks, rays, and huge schools of tropical fish. You can walk all the way around it and up to the top viewing level to watch the sea life from different angles. It's just breathtaking! But my personal favorite are the touch tanks where you can actually reach your hands in and feel certain animals like sea stars, horseshoe crabs, and small sharks. The first time I toucheda shark I was so nervous, but they're surprisingly smooth and gentle. The aquarium staff is there to make sure you do it properly and learn all about the creatures. There are also super cool exhibits that recreate different ocean habitats from around the world. You can see reef tanks with living coral and clownfish, a dark chilly tank from the Arctic with polar bears and seals, and even an Amazon River tank with piranhas and anacondas! No matter how many times I visit, I'm always spotting new things and learning fascinating facts about ocean life.Well, that's my overview of the top 3 places that I love in Qingdao. From the beautiful Zhanqiao Pier and the historic Badaguan trails, to the awesomeQingdao Aquarium, this city has so much for kids and families to explore and enjoy. Hopefully you can come visit sometime and experience the magic for yourself! Zàijiàn! (That means "goodbye" in Chinese!)篇2My Favorite Places in QingdaoHi, my name is Xiaoming and I'm a 10-year-old boy living in the wonderful city of Qingdao. Today, I want to tell you all about my favorite places here. Qingdao is a coastal city in ShandongProvince, China, and it's famous for its beautiful beaches, amazing seafood, and cool German-style buildings. I feel so lucky to live in such an awesome place!First up, my number one favorite spot is Badaguan Scenic Area. This place is like a little paradise with its golden sandy beaches, clear blue waters, and tall green hills. Whenever I go there, I love running along the soft sand, splashing in the gentle waves, and exploring the rocky caves and coves. There are also some really old buildings from way back when Qingdao was occupied by Germany. They look like castles straight out of a fairy tale! My friends and I have so much fun pretending to be brave knights defending the seaside fortress. After we get tired from all that playing, we sit on the beach and munch on some delicious Qingdao jiaozi (fried dumplings) and tandoori chicken that we bought from the snack stands. The spicy and salty flavors taste amazing when you're munching them beside the ocean breeze!Another place I absolutely love is Zhongshan Park. It's this huge park right in the middle of the city with beautiful gardens, winding paths, and an enormous artificial lake. Zhongshan Park feels like a nature wonderland in the heart of Qingdao! My favorite thing to do is rent a little paddle boat and cruise aroundthe lake. I'll pack a lunch of savory Qingdao luhui cakes and sweet jelly candies, then spend the whole afternoon on the water, watching the ducks and fish swim by. Sometimes, my family will have a picnic on the grassy hill beside the lake. We'll spread out our blanket, munch on freshly steamed buns and grilled squid, and maybe fly a kite if there's a nice breeze. At night, the whole park lights up with colorful lanterns, making it look like a magical kingdom! If you want to learn about the old days of Qingdao, you have to visit Signal Hill. This place used to be a coastal fort back when Qingdao was run by Germany in the 1800s and early 1900s. Now, it's a park with underground tunnels, ancient cannons, and the biggest celestial globe sculpture in Asia! I love exploring the dark tunnels and hallways, imagining I'm a soldier getting ready to battle the enemy. My little brother and I will run around making explosion sounds and shouting "The Germans are coming! Man the cannons!" It's so much fun. At the top of the hill, you get awesome views of the whole Qingdao cityscape and coastline. We'll fly kites up there or watch the sun setting over the ocean. It's breathtaking!Speaking of viewpoints, you can't miss the famous Qingdao TV Tower. This gigantic tower stands 236 meters tall and has anobservation deck at the very top where you can see the entire city below you! Going up there makes me feel like I'm a bird soaring over Qingdao. The tower kind of looks like a giant tuning fork, which I think is super cool. At night, the whole tower lights up in a rainbow of colors that change every few minutes. My dad says it's supposed to look like a tuning fork plucking a rainbow! How awesome is that? Just next to the tower, there are gardens with sculptures and fountains that make for great photo spots. I'll pose doing funny dances and jumps to get my mom to take a million pictures. Finally, I have to mention the amazing Qingdao Underwater World. This is a huge aquarium with all kinds of marine animals like sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, and tropical fish. It feels like you're swimming right alongside them as you wander through the giant curved tunnels with water all around! My favorite area is probably the polar area with the cute arctic foxes, seals, and penguins. They're so adorable waddling around on the ice and swimming in the freezing waters. I also love the Amazon tunnel where you can see piranhas, anacondas, and other deadly creatures from the rainforest. It's scary but so fascinating! After the aquarium, we always eat at the seafood market nearby. My mom and dad order up plates of fresh abalone, shrimp, crab, andother delicacies straight from the ocean. It's the best seafood I've ever tasted!Well, that's a quick tour of my favorite Qingdao spots! From the gorgeous beaches to the old colonial buildings to the incredible aquarium, there's so much fun stuff to see and do here. Qingdao makes me smile every single day and gives me tons of amazing memories. If you ever get a chance to visit, you'll understand why I feel like the luckiest kid in the world living in this coastal paradise. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed my little tour!篇3My Favorite Places in QingdaoHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about the best places to visit in my hometown, Qingdao. Qingdao is a really cool city in eastern China, right next to the Yellow Sea. It has beautiful beaches, historic sites, and delicious seafood. Let me take you on a tour of my favorite Qingdao spots!First up is the Qingdao Seaside Walkway. This long path goes right along the coast, giving you amazing ocean views. You can walk, run, or rent a bike or roller blades and cruise along. There are sculptures, parks, and playgrounds too. My favoritepart is the musical fountain - colorful lights flash in time with music shooting out of the water! It's so much fun to watch at night.Next is Badaguan Scenic Area. This was an old military fort built over 100 years ago. You can explore the underground tunnels, climb up on the old cannons, and walk along the ancient city walls. The best view is from Huangjiabu Battery, where you can see the whole Qingdao skyline and the sea. They also have performances there sometimes with dancers dressed like soldiers. So cool!Speaking of old things, you have to check out Tsingtao Beer Museum. Tsingtao is Qingdao's famous beer that's sold all over the world. At the museum, you can learn all about how beer is made and the history of the Tsingtao brewery. The best part is the tasting room at the end where you can try a few sips of beer (just don't tell my parents!). The beer garden outside is a nice spot for a snack too.For nature lovers, Zhongshan Park is the place to be. It's a huge park in the heart of the city with pretty gardens, forests, and even a small amusement park inside. You can rent a boat and paddle around the lakes, or just wander the trails. Don't miss the bamboo forest - it's like being shrunken down to tiny size!My class went on a scavenger hunt there once to find different plants and animals. No trip to Qingdao is complete without beach time! My personal favorite is Shilaoren Beach (which means "Stone Old Man" beach). It has soft golden sand and is surrounded by rocky hills that look like old men's faces from certain angles. You can swim, build sandcastles, fly kites, or just lounge in the sun. Just be careful of the big waves if you go too far out! There are also loads of snack stands selling skewered squid, grilled corn, and other yummy beach food. Finally, if you're looking for some indoor fun, head to the Qingdao Badlands Mall. This place is HUGE, like a city under a roof. There's an ice skating rink, roller coaster, laser tag arena, movies, restaurants from around the world, and every kind of store you can imagine. You could spend days there and still not see everything. My buddies and I love going there when it rains.Well, that's my list of Qingdao must-sees! This city is such an awesome blend of nature, history, and modern entertainment. Whether you want to sightsee, explore, eat, shop, or just play, Qingdao has something for everyone. I feel so lucky to call this vibrant place my home. Come visit soon and I'll show you around!篇4My Favorite Places in QingdaoHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I was born in Qingdao, which is a really cool city in Shandong Province on the east coast of China. Qingdao is famous for its beautiful seaside scenery, delicious seafood, and interesting historical sites. Today I want to tell you about some of my absolute favorite places to visit in my hometown!Number one on my list is the Qingdao Badaguan Scenic Area. "Badaguan" means "eight great passes" and it's an awesome place along the coast with lots of rocky hills, winding paths, and amazing views of the sea. My favorite part is climbing up to the top of Xianhou Hill. From there you can see the whole Badaguan area spread out below you - the bright blue ocean, the jagged cliffs, the old castle ruins, and Zhanqiao Pier stretching way out into the water. It's such a magnificent sight! Sometimes I just sit up there and watch the crashing waves for hours.Another incredible spot is Zhongshan Park, right in the middle of the city. This huge park has so much packed into it - gardens, forests, a lake, historic buildings, and even an amusement park section! I love renting a little pedal boat andcruising around on the lake. One time I saw an enormous koi fish swimming underwater that was almost as big as my pedal boat! The best part though is the roller coasters and other rides at the amusement park. My favorite is the super loopy rollercoaster that does crazy flips and turns. I always scream my head off but it's so fun!If you want to see pandas up close, you have to go to Qingdao Forest Wildlife World. They have this amazing Panda House where you can watch the pandas playing, napping, and munching on bamboo. Pandas areso cute and fuzzy! The park also has tons of other cool animals like tigers, bears, monkeys, and kangaroos. One time I was watching the seals and one actually winked at me! The Forest Wildlife World is definitely my favorite zoo.For a real taste of Qingdao's history, I recommend walking along the city's outer wall remains from the Qing Dynasty era. Some of the old stone wall and archways are still standing from hundreds of years ago when Qingdao was a walled coastal fort. You can actually climb up onto certain sections of the crumbling wall and look out over the entire city. It's crazy to imagine what Qingdao looked like back in ancient times! Finally, you can't leave Qingdao without visiting the Qingdao Beer Museum and trying some fresh local beer! The beer here is famous across China. At the museum, you can take a tour and see all the old brewing equipment and learn about the interesting history of Qingdao's German-style beer. Of course, the best part is the tasting room at the end where you can sample different beers for free. The buckwheat black beer is my favorite - it has a really rich, nutty flavor. Just don't drink too much or you'll end up like my uncle at last year's Spring Festival! There are so many other great places around Qingdao like the beaches, temples, and seafood markets, but those are some of my personal highlights. Qingdao truly has something to offer for everyone - whether you're into nature, history, animals, or just delicious food and drinks. I feel so lucky to have grown up in such an amazing city by the sea. Hopefully you can come visit someday and I'll show you around all my favorite spots! Let me know if you have any other questions!篇5My Favorite Places in QingdaoHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I live in the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao in China. Qingdao is famous forits amazing scenery, delicious seafood, and cool sea breezes. It's right along the ocean and stretches for over 40 kilometers! You can walk, bike, roller blade, or just sit and watch the waves crash against the shore. There are lots of little snack stands selling tasty treats like sugar dragon's beard candy, roasted sweet potatoes, and grilled squid on sticks. My favorite is the candied hawthorn berths - they're sweet, sour and oh so yummy! The boardwalk also has beautiful gardens, plazas with music and performances, and amazing sculptures. I love the giant smiling face sculpture that looks like the sun. At night, the boardwalk lights up with colorful displays. It's simply magical!Another must-see is Qingdao's Old Town. It has tiny winding alleyways lined with walls made of greying bricks and red roof tiles. You can find all sorts of fun shops selling everything from kites and toys to traditional handicrafts and snacks. I always beg my parents to buy me candied hawthorn berries from the street vendors! The Old Town has stood for over 100 years and you can really feel the history as you explore. Don't miss Zhanshan Buddhist Temple with its huge golden Buddha statue andswirling incense. I feel so peaceful and calm walking through the ancient courtyards. For amazing ocean views, you can't beat the beaches in Qingdao. My personal favorite is Shilaoren Beach, which gets its name from the unique rock formations that look like little stone people! The beach has soft golden sand and the water is incredibly clear and refreshing. You can build sandcastles, fly kites, or just soak up the sun. Just be careful of the slightly chilly water - it comes straight from the Yellow Sea! I love to splash in the waves and hunt for colorful shells and pebbles. Shilaoren also has lots of fun beach bars and snack stands selling BBQ squid, shrimp skewers, and cold beer for the grownups. No visit to Qingdao is complete without seeing Signal Hill Park. It rises up right next to the ocean and has lush green trails winding through the forest. At the top, you're rewarded with breathtaking views overlooking Qingdao's skyline and harbors. You can even see all the way across the shimmering sea to Laoshan Mountain! Signal Hill Park has interesting sites like the Huashi Villa, which was home to rich officials centuries ago. My favorite is the larger-than-life bronze statue of sailors raising signal flags - it symbolizes Qingdao's important naval history.just be prepared for a workout because there are a LOT of steps to climb! Those are some of the top places I love in Qingdao, but there's still so much more to see and do. Zai jian!篇6My Favorite Places to Visit in QingdaoHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a 10-year-old boy from the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao in China. I really love living here because there are so many fun and interesting places to visit. Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite spots around Qingdao!First up is the Qingdao Seashore Playground, which is hands down the coolest place for kids like me. It's this massive parkright along the beach with the craziest playgrounds I've ever seen. There are these huge pirate ship structures with tons of slides, climbing areas, swings, and even cannons that shoot out soft balls. My friends and I have had huge battles trying to capture each other's pirate fortresses!Another part of the playground has all these giant insects made out of metal that you can climb on. I'm talking like a massive praying mantis, ants, beetles, and even a scorpion! The scorpion one has a seesaw tail that kids can ride up and down on. I've spent entire days just monkeying around on these insect sculptures. Whenever I visit the Seashore Playground, my parents can barely get me to leave at the end of the day.Right next to the playground is the long sandy beach where we can build sandcastles, fly kites, or go for a swim in the ocean. Sometimes I'll even see people riding horses along the shoreline which looks so fun. And at night, the whole area lights up with colorful lights shining on the pirate ships and bugs. It's a total wonderland for a kid!Another must-visit spot in Qingdao is the Zhanqiao Pier. This huge pier stretches way out into the Yellow Sea, so you feel like you're walking on a road across the water when you go down it. The entire path is lined with food stalls selling snacks and drinks. My favorite thing to get is fresh squid cooked right there on a little grill. It's chewy but so yummy! You can also rent boats or book a longer sightseeing ferry cruise from one end of the pier.At the very end, there's a beautiful view looking back towards the Qingdao skyline. That's the best place to take pictures with all the highrises in the background. I also really like watching the big ships passing by and pretending I'm the captain sailing into port. Sometimes my dad will let me use his binoculars to get a closer look. When the weather is nice, the Qingdao Botanical Gardens is an awesome place to spend the day. It's this sprawling park filled with every type of flower, tree, and plant you can imagine. There are specially themed areas like the Rose Garden, Peony Garden, and Bamboo Garden. I could spend hours just wandering around looking at all the bright colors and smelling the sweet floral scents. One of the coolest parts is the huge greenhouse buildings that create different environments for exotic plants. Walking through the tropical rainforest section is like being in an entirely different world, with lush green vegetation surrounding you and strange birds squawking overhead. They even have an indoorwaterfall! My little sister's favorite is the Butterfly House where hundreds of colorful butterflies freely fly all around you.Towards the back of the gardens, there are wide open grassy areas perfect for running around, having picnics, or flying a kite. Sometimes outdoor concerts or other events will be held on those lawns too. I have so many happy memories of family outings at the Botanical Gardens. It's such a beautiful and peaceful escape from the city.No trip to Qingdao is complete without visiting the iconic Qingdao TV Tower. This massive structure stands over 500 feet tall and you can actually go up in an observation deck all the way to the top! The views from up there are mind-blowing. You can see for miles across Qingdao and out over the ocean on a clear day.But that's not even the craziest part - the TV Tower has these awesome twisting roller coaster loop rides attached to the outside that swing you upside down while dangling from the tower! Just watching other people ride that thing gets my heart pounding. I'm still trying to convince my parents to let me go on it. Maybe once I'm a little older! At the base of the tower, there is a big plaza with musical fountain shows that choreograph streams of water dancing tolight displays and music. It's a great spot to relax with a snack and drinks from one of the many food vendors in the area. The vibe around the TV Tower is always so lively and energetic. I love feeling that exciting buzz every time I visit. Those are some of my absolute favorite places around my hometown, but there's still so much more I could share! Like the ancient city wall ruins, the massive parks filled with sculptures, or the underwater world exhibits at the aquarium. Qingdao is such a vibrant, beautiful place with endless sights to explore. If you ever get the chance to visit, you absolutely have to walk along the famous beaches and boardwalks, try fresh seafood from the local markets, and see an epic seaside sunset. Ask any Qingdao local and they'll tell you there's no better city for kids and families. I feel so lucky to call this amazing place my home! Hopefully you can experience the wonders of Qingdao for yourself someday.。
介绍南京的英语作文3-5个景点全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Places in NanjingHi everyone! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I live in the amazing city of Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province in China. Nanjing is a really old and historic city with so many cool places to visit. Today, I want to tell you about some of my favorite spots in Nanjing!Zhonghua GateOne of the coolest places in Nanjing is the Zhonghua Gate. It's part of the giant Nanjing City Wall that goes all the way around the city center. The wall is super thick and tall - it's like a huge brick snake wrapping around everything! The Zhonghua Gate is the main entrance through the wall. It has these big watch towers on each side that look like they're from an ancient castle or fortress. I always feel like a little warrior walking through the gate!My dad told me the wall was built way back in the 1300s to protect Nanjing when it was the capital of China. Can you imagine how long ago that was? The wall has been standing there, guarding the city, for over 600 years! Whenever I'm near the Zhonghua Gate, I try to imagine what it looked like back then with soldiers patrolling the ramparts and keeping watch. Pretty neat, right?Qinhuai RiverAnother one of my favorite Nanjing spots is the Qinhuai River area. The Qinhuai is a little river that runs right through the center of the old town. Along both sides of the river bank, there are all these traditional buildings, shops, restaurants, and even little boats that you can ride down the river on!Whenever my grandparents come to visit, we always take them down to the Qinhuai. We'll walk along the river, looking at all the people and stores, and then pick a little restaurant right on the water to have a delicious Nanjing snack meal. My grandpa loves getting bowls of warm soybean milk with deep-fried dough twists. I like getting grilled little green pancakes rolled up with stuff inside. It's all so yummy! At night, the whole Qinhuai River area gets decorated with beautiful red lanterns hanging from all the buildings. It looks sopretty with the lanterns glowing and reflecting off the river. Sometimes my parents and I will go for a nighttime stroll and watch people putting on traditional performances or playing music along the riverbank. It's my favorite place to go to experience the old Nanjing culture.Nanjing Massacre Memorial HallThis next place is more serious, but I still think it's really important to learn about. It's called the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall, and it's a museum remembering a very tragic event that happened in Nanjing during World War 2.In 1937, the Japanese military invaded Nanjing and caused terrible violence and suffering for the people living in the city. Over 300,000 civilians and soldiers were killed in only a few weeks - it was a horrific massacre. The Memorial Hall has exhibits explaining what happened and honoring the victims and survivors. When I went there on a school field trip, I saw photographs, artifacts, and watch videos describing the atrocities. It was heartbreaking to learn about the cruelty and pain that occurred. But I'm glad there is a memorial to educate people about this event so that we never allow such evil to happen again. One of the most powerful things was walking through an area with thousands of victim's names and ages carved into the floor and walls. It was overwhelming to see just how many people's lives were lost, including tons of children around my age or younger. The Memorial really makes you appreciate peace and life. Those are three of the places in Nanjing that have made a big impression on me so far. Of course, there are lots of other cool spots too, like Purple Mountain with its temples and forest trails, the giant Presidential Palace from ancient times, or just wandering the little alleyways and gardens around the city's old town area. But those three - the City Wall and Zhonghua Gate, the Qinhuai River area, and the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall - have really stuck with me. They've shown me Nanjing's long history, its living traditions, and its resilience in overcoming incredible hardship. I'm proud to call myself a Nanjinger and to be growing up experiencing this amazing city. I hope you'll get a chance to visit Nanjing someday too!篇2Nanjing - An Amazing City to Visit!Hi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a 10-year-old student living in the amazing city of Nanjing. Today, I'm going to tell you all about some of the coolest places to visit here. Get ready to be amazed! The first place I want to talk about is the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall. I know it might sound a bit sad, but I promise it's a really important place to learn about history. This memorial is a reminder of the terrible things that happened during World War II when many innocent people lost their lives. Walking through the halls and seeing all the exhibits made me feel grateful for the peace we have today. It's a sobering experience, but one that I think everyone should have.Next up is the Nanjing Confucius Temple, which is one of my favorite places in the whole city! This temple is huge and has been around for over 1,500 years. Can you believe that? It's dedicated to Confucius, who was a really wise philosopher from ancient China. The temple is made up of several beautiful buildings with intricate designs and bright colors. My favorite part is the Xue Xiang Bridge, which spans a small river. It's so pretty, especially when the cherry blossom trees are in bloom!Speaking of cherry blossoms, you have to visit Qinhuai River during the spring! This winding river runs right through the heartof Nanjing and is lined with willow trees and vibrant flowers. During cherry blossom season, the whole area transforms into a pink wonderland. It's absolutely gorgeous! You can take a boat ride along the river or just stroll along the banks and admire the views. There are also lots of shops and restaurants nearby, so you can grab a tasty snack or souvenir. No trip to Nanjing would be complete without visiting the Nanjing City Wall. This massive wall used to protect the city from invaders a long, long time ago. It's one of the longest ancient city walls in the world, stretching for over 33 kilometers! You can actually walk or bike along parts of the wall and get a bird's eye view of the city. It's pretty cool to think about all the history that has taken place here.Last but not least, I have to mention the Nanjing Hongwu Emperor's Imperial Palace. This grand palace was built way back in the 14th century and was the home of the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty. It's absolutely huge, with tons of buildings, gardens, and even a small lake. My favorite part is the Meridian Gate, which has these incredible stone carvings of lions, dragons, and other mythical creatures. Walking through the palace grounds makes me feel like a little prince or princess!Well, those are some of the top attractions in my beloved city of Nanjing. From historic memorials to ancient temples and palaces, there's so much to see and learn here. I hope you'll add Nanjing to your travel list and come explore all the amazing sights for yourself. Trust me, it's a trip you'll never forget!篇3Nanjing: A City with Awesome Sights!Hey there, kids! Have you ever visited the amazing city of Nanjing? This place is like a giant playground for nature lovers! It's a massive mountain covered in lush greenery, and it's home to tons of beautiful temples, gardens, and historic sites. One of the coolest things about Purple Mountain is the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, which is a breathtaking memorial to Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the great leader who helped establish modern China. The mausoleum islike a giant palace, with intricate carvings and stunning architecture. You'll feel like you've stepped back in time! But that's not all! Purple Mountain is also home to the Linggu Temple, which is one of the oldest and most famous Buddhist temples in China. It's been around for over 1,500 years, can you believe that? The temple is filled with incredible statues, paintings, and relics that will leave you in awe. And if you're lucky, you might even spot some friendly monks wandering around!Next on our list is the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall. Now, this place is a bit more serious, but it's really important to learn about history, even the sad parts. The Memorial Hall is dedicated to the victims of the Nanjing Massacre, which was a tragic event during World War II. Inside, you'll find exhibits, photographs, and stories that will help you understand what happened and why it's so important to promote peace and understanding between people.Alright, let's move on to something a little more fun! Have you ever heard of the Confucius Temple (Fuzimiao)? It's one of the most famous temples in all of China, and it's dedicated to the great philosopher Confucius. This place is like a giant outdoor museum, with beautiful gardens, ancient buildings, and lots of interesting exhibits about Confucius' life and teachings. Youmight even see people performing traditional ceremonies or playing ancient Chinese instruments!Last but not least, we have the Qinhuai River Scenic Area. This is a really cool spot right in the heart of Nanjing. The Qinhuai River flows through the city, and along its banks, you'll find all sorts of amazing things. I live in the amazing city of Nanjing, which is the capital of Jiangsu Province in China. During my last school break, my family and I visitedsome of the coolest places in Nanjing. I'm going to tell you all about them! The first place we went to was the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall. I know the name sounds a bit sad, but it's actually a really important place that teaches us about history. During World War II, many innocent people were killed in Nanjing by the Japanese army. The Memorial Hall has exhibits that show us what happened back then, and it's a way to remember those who lost their lives.Even though the topic is serious, the Memorial Hall is designed in a way that's easy for kids like me to understand. There are sculptures, videos, and even some interactive games that help explain the events in a kid-friendly way. My favorite part was the outdoor section, where there are beautiful gardens and peaceful areas to reflect.Next up was the Nanjing Confucius Temple, which is one of the largest Confucian temples in China. Confucius was a really wise philosopher who lived a long time ago, and this temple was built to honor him and his teachings. The temple complex is huge, with lots of cool buildings, courtyards, and statues to explore. One of the highlights was the Xian'xin Gate, which is this massive gate with intricate carvings and designs. We also saw the Dacheng Hall, where there are impressive sculptures of Confucius and his students. My little brother and I had fun trying to strike the same pose as the Confucius statue!Another awesome part of the temple was the Qinhuai River that runs through it. We took a little boat ride along the river and saw all the beautiful buildings and bridges from the water. It was so relaxing and peaceful, and the perfect way to take a break from all the walking. After the Confucius Temple, we headed to the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, which is one of the coolest bridges I've ever seen. It's a massive suspension bridge that spans across the Yangtze River, which is the longest river in Asia. The bridge is over 1.5 miles long and has two levels – one for cars and one for trains! We took a tour that allowed us to walk across the bridge's pedestrian walkway. From up there, we had the most amazing views of the Yangtze River and the Nanjing skyline. It was a bit scary being so high up, but also really exciting. My favorite part was watching the trains go by on the lower level. Our next stop was the Nanjing Botanical Garden, which is like a huge park filled with all kinds of beautiful plants and flowers. It's one of the largest botanical gardens in China, and it has sections dedicated to different types of plants from around the world. We spent hours exploring the different areas, like the bamboo forest, the rose garden, and the greenhouse that had all sorts of tropical plants. There were even some really cool sculptures made out of plants and flowers scattered throughout the garden. One of the highlights was the Bonsai garden, where they had these tiny little trees that were hundreds of years old! It was fascinating to see how they could keep the trees so small and perfectly shaped. My brother and I also had a blast running around in the children's garden, which had a maze made of hedges and lots of fun play areas. The last place we visited was the Nanjing Fuzimiao, which is a beautiful Taoist temple. Taoism is an ancient Chinese philosophy that focuses on living in harmony with nature. The temple was built over 1,500 years ago, and it's still an active place of worship today. As we walked through the temple complex, we saw lots of intricate carvings, colorful paintings, and stunning architecture. One of the coolest things was the incense burners, which were these massive coils of incense that created swirling patterns of smoke. We also got to see people practicing Taoist rituals and traditions, like calligraphy, meditation, and martial arts. It was really fascinating to learn about this ancient culture and way of life.At the end of our trip, we were all exhausted but so happy that we got to experience all these amazing sights in Nanjing. From learning about history to exploring beautiful gardens and ancient temples, it was an adventure I'll never forget. If you ever have the chance to visit Nanjing, make sure to check out these incredible places. My name is Xiaoming and I'm a 10-year-old student from Nanjing, China. I love my city because there are so many fun and interesting places to visit. Today, I want to tell you about some of my favorite attractions in Nanjing. The first place I want to talk about is the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall. This is a very important historical site that reminds us of a really sad event that happened during World War II. Even though it's a bit sad, I think it's important for everyone tolearn about history so that we can prevent terrible things like that from happening again.Another one of my favorite places in Nanjing is Qinhuai River. This river runs right through the center of the city and it's super pretty, especially at night when all the buildings and bridges are lit up. There are lots of little boats you can ride on the river, and the banks are lined with restaurants, shops, and street performers. My friends and I love going there to watch the singers, dancers, and acrobats. You can also buy lots of delicious snacks like candied hawthorn fruits and fried dough twists.Speaking of snacks, one place I never get tired of visiting is the Nanjing Confucius Temple. This huge temple was built to honor the famous philosopher Confucius, and it has a really cool history dating back over 1,000 years! But to be honest, my favorite part is the Qinhuai Snack Street right next to the temple. There are hundreds of little food stalls selling the most amazing local Nanjing snacks - my mouth is watering just thinking about the duck blood and chicken soup, fried smelts, and maqiu kuaisun (steamed wheat bread with sauces). It's snack heaven! If you want to see some amazing ancient architecture, you have to go to the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. This is where the famous Ming emperor Zhu Yuanzhang was buried over 600 yearsago. The picture depicts a scenario of a terrible traffic jam in the street. In fact, the traffic jam is so heavy that it is more of a parking lot than a crowded street.AnXious passengers cannot take buses Kunming.A geological phenomenon, the Stone Forest was a vast eXpanse of sea during the Paleozoic era——some 270 million years ter, the movement of tectonic plates altered the earth’s crust, causing the sea to recede and its limestone bottom to appear, thereby forming land.Due to the constantseeping ofrain through the cracks in the limestone, some of the stone formation dissolved and the fissures broadened, producing a group of great sculptures of different shapes, all molded by nature. In the midst of the forest, there is a huge rock screen on which two words——Stone Forest——are engraved in official script .Among the scenic sights is the "Sword Peak Pond" with jadeite-colored water so clear that one can see the bottom of the pond.Other astonishing sights include "Figure of Ashima," "Shi Ba Xiang Song" , and "Lotus Peak."The splendor of the Stone Forest is enhanced by the local customs of the native Sani people .Sani people are industrious and hospitable——and unconstrained.Sani women are eXpert at spinning, weaving, and embroidering. They like to wear rainbow-colored headgear and bright-colored dresses. The young people especially are very good singers and dancers.Every day at sunset, under the moonlight, boys and girls gather at the village platform. While the boys play the three-stringed plucked instruments, the girls clap their hands and dance the strong-rhythmed traditional "A’Xi Dance in the Moon" with great enthusiasm. If you happen to witness the event, you will be invited to join in the festivity.Note that every lunar year, on June 24th, the Sani people celebrate their national festival——the Torch Festival. On that day,the entire Stone Forest is permeated with a celebratory atmosphere. There are traditional performances of wreestling and bull-fighting.Finally,when the land is enveloped in the curtain of night, the young men run after the young women to propose marriage in the light of colored lanterns.介绍景点的英语作文 9Beijing is our capital They've been built withincredible detail and precision. Walking through this area makes me feel like I'm on a grand tour of Europe!Another area I really love is the Ancient Greek section. It has replicas of the Parthenon, the Acropolis, and other ancient Greek structures. Looking at these buildings, I can imagine what life must have been like thousands of years ago in ancient Athens. The columns and statues are so intricate and beautiful. The Window of the World also has sections dedicated to Asia, Africa, America, and Oceania. In the Asian section, you can see famous landmarks like the Taj Mahal from India, the Great Buddha of Thailand, and even a replica of the Forbidden City from right here in China. The African section features pyramids, tribal huts, and sculptures representing different cultures from that continent. One of the most exciting parts of the park is the rides and attractions. There's a giant Ferris wheel that gives you a bird's eye view of the entire park. There's also a roller coaster that takes you soaring over the park's landscapes and buildings. My favorite ride is the Indoor Multimedia Roller Coaster – it's like a thrilling roller coaster combined with a 3D movie experience! But the Window of the World isn't just about sightseeing and rides. My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I live in the amazing city of Shenzhen, which is in southern China. Shenzhen is full of tall skyscrapers, busy streets, and lots of people. But it also has some really cool parks and tourist attractions. My absolute favorite place to go in Shenzhen is called Window of the World!Window of the World is a huge park that has small recreations of famous buildings and landmarks from all around the world. It's like you can travel the globe without even leaving Shenzhen! The park covers an area of almost 500,000 square meters, which is about the size of 100 football fields. That's massive! When you enter Window of the World, the first thing you see is a miniature version of the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. They look just like the real pyramids, except tiny! You can take pictures pretending to be a giant leaning on the pyramids. Or you can go inside one of the pyramids and learn about how they were built so long ago by skilled workers. After the Pyramids area, you can walk over to a recreation of the Taj Mahal from India. This stunning white marble building almost looks too pretty to be real. There's a pool in front that reflects the Taj Mahal, making it look like it's floating on water. My favorite part is going inside and seeing the elaborate carvings and designs. It's mindblowingly detailed! From India, you can hop over to England and see models of Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, and even a section of the Thames River. It feels like you've traveled all the way to London! You can take funny pictures pretending to guard Buckingham Palace or be one of the iconic British guards with the big fuzzy hats. The United States section has its own Statue of Liberty, as well as the White House, Hollywood Bowl, and even a stretch of the Las Vegas strip. The Statue of Liberty is my mom's favorite because you can actually go up inside it and see Shenzhen fromthe crown's observation windows. At night, the Las Vegas area comes alive with blinking lights and sounds just like the real thing.Honestly, I could go on and on describing all the tiny recreated landmarks at Window of the World. But one of the coolest parts is that each country's area is staffed by people wearing traditional dress from that nation. So in the Egypt area, there are people dressed like ancient Egyptians. In England, you see British guards and royalty costumes. It's like you're traveling through time and space!Window of the World also has several exhibits inside that rotate every so often. Once, they had an amazing display of Renaissance art and artifacts. Another time, it was all about dinosaurs and prehistoric life. I recently went on an amazing family vacation to Shenzhen, which is a huge city in southern China. We did lots of fun things, but my favorite place we visited was this incredible theme park called Window of the World. Let me tell you all about it!Window of the World is like no other theme park I've ever been to before. Instead of having roller coasters and rides, it's filled with super detailed models of famous landmarks and buildings from all over the world! It's basically like getting to travel the whole globe without ever leaving Shenzhen. How cool is that? When we first arrived, I was blown away by how massive the park is. It covers over 48 hectares of land, which is about the same size as 60 football fields! And there are 118 landscape model areas representing 24 different countries and regions. My mind was spinning just thinking about all the incredible sights we were going to see.Our first stop was the Europe section, which had amazingly realistic recreations of places like the Parthenon from Greece, Buckingham Palace from England, and the Leaning Tower of Pisa from Italy. I couldn't believe how they managed to make these models look just like the real things! The detail was unbelievable.Next up was Asia, with awesome models of icons like the Taj Mahal from India, Angkor Wat from Cambodia, and the Forbidden City from China itself. I loved learning about the history and culture behind each of these world-famous landmarks as we walked around. My little sister's favorite was definitely the Bali area, with its pretty beaches and colorful temples. The Africa section let us see incredible wildlife sculptured from metal, like zebras, elephants, and lions. And the recreated ancient Egyptian pyramids and Sphinx were seriouslyjaw-dropping. I felt like I had travelled back in time 4,000 years! But you know what really made my inner kid jump for joy? The section dedicated to fairy tales and fantasy worlds! There was a life-sized Cinderella's pumpkin carriage, Aladdin's magic lamp, and the Seven Dwarfs' cottage from Snow White. It was like stepping right into the storybooks I love so much. One of the coolest parts was getting to interact with "locals" from each country we visited. There were staff members walking around in traditional dress from nations like Scotland, Morocco, Russia, and more. They happily answered our questions, posed for photos, and taught us fun facts about their culture.By the end of the day, my brain was bursting with all the new knowledge and sights I had experienced. Window of the World was like the ultimate educational field trip combined with a thrilling adventure! I can't wait to go back again someday. If you ever find yourself in Shenzhen, you have to check out this theme park. It's honestly one of the coolest places for kids and adults to learn about our big, beautiful, amazing world. Two thumbs up from me! See you around the globe!篇6My Awesome Visit to the Shenzhen Safari ParkHave you ever seen a real live tiger up close? Or fed a giraffe with your own hands? Well, I got to do both of those amazing things and more on my trip to the Shenzhen Safari Park! The Shenzhen Safari Park is a huge zoo and amusement park all rolled into one. It's located in the Nanshan District ofShenzhen, which is a really cool city in southern China. My mom and dad took me and my little sister there for a weekend getaway and it was the best trip ever! When we first arrived, I was blown away by how massive the park is - it covers more than 500 acres of land! That's bigger than 300 football fields put together. The first section we went to was the African Safari Trail. We all piled into these bright green safari trucks and went cruising through an open environment filled with all kinds of incredible African animals just roaming around freely. The first animals we saw were a bunch of zebras munching on grass right next to the road. I couldn't believe how close they were! Then we turned a corner and came face-to-face with a huge male lion lying in the shade of a tree. He opened his big mouth in a yawn and I could see all his sharp teeth. Our guide told us he was the king of that area. I definitely didn't want to get out and mess with him! After the zebras and lions, we saw wildebeests, gazelles, giraffes, rhinos, elephants, and more! The giraffes were my favorite part. The trucks stopped and our guide gave us lettuce leaves to feed the giraffes. When those long purple tongues came reaching out to grab the leaves from my hands, it tickledand made me laugh. The giraffes were so gentle and seemed to smile back at me with their funny expressions.Once we finished the safari trail drive, it was time to explore the rest of the park on foot. We started by wandering through the Australian Outback section which had kangaroos hopping all over the place and lounging in the sun. There was this one kangaroo boxing match happening that was hilarious to watch. Those roos were really going at it!Next up was the Arctic Circle area which felt like being transported to the frozen North Pole. They had an amazing snowmobile ride that took us whipping past polar bears, seals, walruses, and other arctic wildlife. Brrrr it was cold but super fun! The polar bear enclosure was incredible - they had this underwater viewing area where we could watch the bears swimming. After warming up, we headed to the South American Rainforest which was like stepping into another world. There were toucans, macaws, sloths, jaguars, and all sorts of colorful rainforest critters everywhere we looked. My favorite was the monkey area where the little guys were swinging through the trees right over our heads and making funny noises. One of them almost landed right on my dad!We spent the rest of the day bouncing around to the other areas like the North American mountains with bears, bison, and moose; the Asian Forest with pandas, leopards, and komodo dragons; and a whole section just for reptiles and birds. Every area felt like we were on a different continent exploring new habitats.Just when I thought I couldn't be more amazed, at night they had this incredible light and fountain show in the central lake area backed by music and animations on giant screens. The water came alive dancing to the beat of the music while colored lights and images played across the mists. It was breathtaking! To top it all off, the Shenzhen Safari Park had a huge amusement park section with crazy roller coasters and thrill rides. We went on this one looping coaster that had me screaming my head off it was so intense! There were also tamer rides for younger kids like a merry-go-round, teacups, and driving courses.I could honestly keep rambling about all the cool stuff we saw and did at Shenzhen Safari Park because there was just so much packed into one place. From up-close animal encounters to roller coaster thrills to eveningtime shows, it had everything an adventure-seeker like me could ask for.If you ever make it to the Shenzhen area, you have to go check out this place for yourself. Make sure to wear super comfy walking shoes and be ready for an action-packed day because trust me, you'll need plenty of energy to see and do it all. Just writing about it makes me want to go back again. The Shenzhen Safari Park is hands-down one of the most epic places I've ever been!。
推荐一个值得参观的城市英语作文100词全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite City to Visit: New YorkNew York City is the best place to visit in the whole wide world! My family went there for vacation last summer and I had the most amazing time. There is so much to see and do, I could never get bored in New York. Let me tell you all about why you have to go to New York City someday! The first thing that's so great about New York is all the tall skyscrapers. They seemed to reach up and touch the clouds! The Empire State Building is the most famous one. We went up to the observation deck on the 102nd floor and the view was breathtaking. You could see the entire city stretching out below you in every direction. The buildings looked like little toy houses from way up high. My dad said the Empire State Building was one of the tallest buildings in the world when it was built in 1931. Can you imagine?Another iconic New York landmark is the Statue of Liberty. This huge statue of a lady holding a torch stands on an island inthe harbor. You can take a ferry ride right up to the island and go inside the statue's crown. We opted to just see it from the boat though because my little sister gets scared of tight spaces. The statue was a gift from France to the United States over 100 years ago as a symbol of freedom and democracy. Pretty cool!Another highlight was exploring Central Park. This massive park right in the middle of Manhattan has playgrounds, ponds, gardens, and lots of wide open spaces for running around. We rented bikes one day and rode nearly 10 miles through the park, stopping to see attractions like the zoo and the carousel. We even stumbled upon a Shakespeare performance happening outdoors and watched for a little while. You'd never know you were still in such a big city!I could go on and on about New York's amazing museums, neighborhoods to explore, and more. From the bright lights of Times Square to the incredible Metropolitan Museum of Art, there is so much to experience. New York feels like a whole different world packed into one city. The energy, diversity, culture, and sheer size of it is unlike anywhere else I've ever been. If you want a trip filled with excitement and awe around every corner, put New York City at the top of your list. I'm already dreaming about my next visit!篇2My Favorite City to Visit: San FranciscoSan Francisco is the coolest city ever! I went there last summer with my family and I had the best time. There's so much fun stuff to do and see. If you ever get a chance to go to San Francisco, you have to check out all the awesome things I'm going to tell you about.First of all, San Francisco has these crazy steep hills all over the place. The streets just go straight up and down like roller coasters! My dad had to really push hard on the brakes when we were driving around. We saw these cable cars that are like little trains that go up and down the big hills. We got to ride on one and it was so fun! The cable cars have been around for over 100 years and they're pulled up the hills by huge underground cables. I've never seen anything like it.Another really awesome thing about San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge. This massive bright orange bridge stretches across the bay and you can walk or drive across it. When we went, it was pretty foggy so it looked kind of spooky and mysterious poking out of the clouds. But it's an engineering marvel that was built way back in the 1930s. There are also sea lions that hangout on the docks right near the bridge! We could hear them barking and smell their stinky breath from far away.Speaking of animals, we went to this neat little island in the middle of the bay called Alcatraz. It used to be a maximum security prison where they kept really bad criminals locked up. Now it's a museum and you can take a tour around the old cell blocks. Creepy! We also learned that they had to fight off pesky ravens who would try to get into the prison by shooting them with hoses. I don't know if I would have wanted to be a prisoner there with all those aggressive raven attacks! For dessert one night, we went to this amazing place called Ghirardelli Square. It's an whole area filled with chocolate shops, restaurants, and this crazy huge Ghirardelli chocolate factory and store. We got to see how they make the chocolate and then pick out all kinds of special signature chocolates and desserts to try. I had a hot fudge sundae that was out of this world!I could go on and on about all the other cool places we saw like Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, the sea lions at Pier 39, and riding the historic cable cars. But I'll wrap it up by saying that San Francisco is a city like no other. With its hills, bridges, history, chocolate, and charm, it's the perfect family vacation destination.I can't wait to go back again someday! If you ever get the chance, you have to experience the City by the Bay for yourself. Just get ready for lots of walking since there are so many hills!篇3A City You Have to Visit: London!Have you ever dreamed of going to a big, exciting city packed with fun things to see and do? How cool would it be to actually stand in front of that iconic landmark?Another must-see attraction is Buckingham Palace. This massive palace is where the Queen of England lives! You can watch the Change of the Guard ceremony where the Queen's soldiers in their red coats and tall hats do a fancy march. If you're lucky, you might even spot the Queen herself! I saw her oncewhen my family visited and she waved at me. Well, I think she did anyway.Speaking of royalty, London has tons of amazing old castles and palaces to explore. The Tower of London is an 900-year-old fortress right on the River Thames that was used as a prison for a long time. You can see the sparkling crown jewels of the royal family there! Another awesome castle is Hampton Court Palace which is famous for its hedge mazes and beautiful gardens. Getting lost in one of those mazes would be an adventure! If you love museums, London has you more than covered. The National History Museum is ginormous and filled with dinosaur skeletons, meteorites, and an awesome earthquake simulator. The British Museum has fascinating artifacts from ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome like real mummies! For art lovers there's the National Gallery which houses over 2,000 classic paintings. You could spend weeks just visiting all of London's incredible museums. One of the best things about London is all the cool experiences you can have. You can ride one of the world's biggest Ferris wheels called the London Eye and get a bird's eye view of the whole city. Or you can take a ride in a classic double decker red bus or one of the famous black cabs. There areawesome street performers all over putting on shows and magic acts. And the food is out of this world – I had the best fish and chips ever!Another thing that makes London so special is how old it is. Parts of the city date back to ancient Roman times almost 2,000 years ago! You'll see centuries-old buildings and churches everywhere you go. It's like being transported back in time to medieval ages with knights and castles. But then you'll turn a corner and be in a modern neighborhood with towering skyscrapers and neon lights. The mix of old and new is just mesmerizing. My family and I spent a whole week in London last summer and it still wasn't enough time to see and do everything. We walked for miles every day checking out neighborhood markets, beautiful parks and gardens, live theater shows, and quirky little museums. Every single day was non-stop fun and excitement.I have so many amazing memories from that trip –experiencing cool British traditions like a proper afternoon tea, playing in the Princess Diana Memorial Playground, gawking at the waxworks in Madame Tussauds, and even taking a magical tour that showed me places from the Harry Potter movies.London is quite simply the most enthralling and energizing city I've ever visited. If you get the chance to go to London, you absolutely have to take it. Bring your walking shoes, your camera, and a nice big fanny pack to carry all your souvenirs because this city will blow your mind! The sights, the history, the attractions, the energy –it's almost too much awesomeness for a kid to handle. But I'd go back to London in a heartbeat. In fact, I'm already bugging my parents to take me again next summer. Maybe I'll see you there!篇4My Favorite City to Visit: New YorkDo you like big cities with tall buildings that seem to touch the sky? Cities that are always busy with people rushing around and so many fun things to see and do? If so, then New York City is the perfect place for you to visit! It's my absolute favorite city in the whole world.New York is amazing for so many reasons. First of all, it's huge! The city feels like its own little world with neighborhoods that each have their own unique personality. You could spend weeks there and still not see everything. One of the coolest parts of New York is Manhattan. That's the island in the middle of the city where the famous skyline is. The skyscrapers there are unbelievably tall. Just looking up at them makes my neck hurt! But they're so much fun to gaze at, especially at night when they're all lit up. My favorite is the Empire State Building. At over 100 stories high, it's one of the tallest buildings in the whole city. You can actually go up to the observation decks at the top and get an incredible view of the entire area. It's breathtaking!Speaking of views, the Brooklyn Bridge is another must-see spot. This enormous suspension bridge connects Manhattan to the borough of Brooklyn. You can walk across it and get awesome views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty out in the harbor. My class took a field trip there last year and I have some epic pictures from the top of the bridge. So cool!New York has some world-famous museums too. The Metropolitan Museum of Art (the Met for short) is one of the biggest and best museums on the planet. You could spend days there looking at all the incredible artwork and artifacts from civilizations all over the world and throughout history. Myfavorite is the Egyptian mummy exhibit - so spooky and fascinating! But the American Museum of Natural History might be even better if you're into science, nature and gigantic dinosaur skeletons. I'll never forget the first time I saw that gigantic Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil. It's absolutely massive and terrifying and awesome! The museum has exhibits on space, the ocean, earth science, biodiversity, and more. You could lose yourself in there for hours. And we haven't even gotten to the food yet! Oh man, the food in New York is out of this world. You can find amazing examples of cuisines from every corner of the globe. My favorite is probably the New York-style pizza. Those gigantic slices are insanely delicious! But we also love stopping at food trucks for things like bagels, pretzels, hot dogs and chicken over rice. No matter what you're craving, New York has it.There's just so much energy and excitement in New York. It's a place of unbelievable history, culture, diversity and opportunity. The vibe is electrifying and contagious, especially as a kid. Every visit makes me feel more curious and inspired about the world around me.While it can admittedly be overwhelming at times with the chaos, noise and number of people, that's also part of what makes New York so unique and thrilling. It's the kind of city that every person should experience at least once in their lifetime. You'll never forget the first time you see those iconic sights and soak in the one-of-a-kind New York atmosphere. So what are you waiting for? Start bugging your parents to plan a trip to the Big Apple! Trust me, you're going to love this amazing, bustling, mind-blowing city. New York is truly like no other place on Earth. I can't wait to go back!篇5My Favorite City: LondonLondon is the best city in the world! I went there on vacation with my family last summer and I had the most wonderful time. There is so much to see and do in London that I could never get bored. One of my favorite things was seeing Buckingham Palace, where the Queen lives. It's a massive palace with lots of guards standing watch. The guards have to stay completely still and not laugh or smile no matter what people do! My little brother made funny faces at them but they didn't even crack a grin. The palaceitself is beautiful too, with a grand entrance and balconies and towers. I wish I could live in a palace like that!We also went to the Tower of London, which used to be a fortress and prison. It's really old, built way back in 1066! There are scary corridors and rooms where prisoners were kept. But the best part is seeing the Crown Jewels - diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and more that belong to the royal family. They were so sparkly and pretty! If I was a princess I'd wear them every day.Museums were really cool too. The Natural History Museum had life-size dinosaur skeletons and meteor rocks. I got to see what a Tyrannosaurus Rex really looked like up close! The Science Museum taught me about outer space, how planes fly, and all kinds of inventions. My favorite was getting to sit in a spaceship simulator. For a real taste of England, we went to an English pub and I had fish and chips, which are fried fish filets with french fries. The batter on the fish was crispy and golden and so yummy with a big dollop of tartar sauce on the side. We also saw a red telephone booth, just like in the movies! Those have been around forever and always make me think of London. One of the highlights was riding the London Eye, a massive Ferris wheel right on the River Thames. Each car was all glassed inso you could see forever as you slowly rose up into the air. From the top I could spot Big Ben, the famous clock tower at the Houses of Parliament. That tower is so iconic with its awesome bell chimes ringing out the hours. We took a tour on one of those red double-decker buses too. Riding up top, hanging out the open windows, felt like being in a parade! Our guide told us funny stories about the different neighborhoods we passed through. I loved seeing the gorgeous architecture, from modern skyscrapers to ornate buildings from long ago. So much history everywhere you look!No trip to London is complete without seeing a show, so we went to the musical Matilda about the little girl with magical powers. The sets and costumes were out of this world. The actress playing Matilda was so talented at singing and acting for being just a kid. It was my first time seeing a live performance and it's an experience I'll never forget.Overall, London is an amazing, one-of-a-kind city that has something for everyone. The culture, the sights, the food...I could go on and on. If you get the chance to visit, you absolutely should! This lively, historic capital makes for incredible memories. I'm already counting down the days until I can go back. London, I love you!篇6A City Worth Visiting: New York CityNew York City is the best city in the whole world! It's so big and exciting, with towering skyscrapers, bustling streets, and something amazing around every corner. I went there last summer with my family and I'll never forget how much fun we had exploring all the incredible sights.First of all, the food in New York is out of this world delicious. There are restaurants from every culture you can imagine - Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Indian and so many more. My favorite was getting huge slices of cheesy pizza that were bigger than my head! We also tried bagels with cream cheese and lox (that's smoked salmon). They were so yummy. For dessert, we had black and white cookies and giant pretzels covered in gooey mustard. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!Besides the awesome food, one of the coolest things about New York is all the mind-blowing skyscrapers and famous landmarks. The Empire State Building is humongous and has an observation deck at the very top where you can see the whole city stretched out below you. It's a bit scary being up that high, but also totally thrilling! We also saw the Statue of Liberty upclose when we took a boat cruise around the harbor. Did you know that awesome green lady was a gift from France? How nice of them!Another must-see place is Central Park right in the middle of Manhattan. It's a massive park with playgrounds, lakes, walking trails, and even a zoo! We rented bikes and rode all around, stopping to watch musicians, acrobats, and other street performers along the way. One hilarious guy was posing as a living statue and would randomly move to scare people. I almost peed my pants laughing so hard when he got my dad!Speaking of laughing, we also saw not one but two Broadway shows during our trip. The actors were incredible singers and dancers bringing the stories to life right in front of us. My little sister was completely mesmerized the whole time. I want to move to New York when I'm older so I can be in shows like that!On top of parks, food, and entertainment, New York is an amazing place for shopping too. There are ginormous stores on every block selling absolutely everything you could ever want - clothes, toys, books, electronics, you name it! We spent a whole day wandering around places like the American Girl store, theNintendo World store, and of course the legendary FAO Schwarz toy store. My poor parents' credit cards took quite a beating. As if that wasn't enough excitement, we also got to experience the hustle and bustle of New York by riding the famous yellow cabs and taking the massive subway system underneath the streets. The subway goes absolutely everywhere and we could get from our hotel to any attraction in just a few minutes for a couple bucks. So convenient! And the cabs were hilarious with the drivers zipping in and out of traffic while laying on the horn constantly. My dad said it felt like being in a real-life video game.Overall, I give New York City a billion out of 5 stars - it was simply the best trip ever! The nonstop action and endless options for entertainment and dining made it a feast for the senses. Every kid (and kid at heart) deserves to experience the energy and excitement of the Big Apple at least once in their life. I'm already begging my parents to take us back again next year. New York, New York - a helluva town!。

In the sun, the West Lake is as calm as an angel. The reflection of the water is so bright that I can hardly see it directly. There are many green lotus leaves there, which reminds me of the great poet Yang Wanli, who wrote a beautiful poem for the flower lake here.
The gentle breeze makes the water rise and fall like a dancer. The people who walk by the lake are as happy as us.
