Procedure:
Warm-up
Start the lesson by asking the students if they like to go to parties and what kinds of parties they
have been to. Elicit some responses and write them on the board.
Vocabulary and Grammar
Introduce some key phrases for making invitations and responding to invitations. Write them on
the board and have the students repeat after you. Examples of phrases include:
