Teaching aids: the tape-recorder and some cards.

Teaching procedure:

Step1 Warm up

1. Listen to the tape and sing the “Hello” song

2. Show the cards: TV, WTO, HK, E—mail, CD, cool ----

Step2 Presentation

1. Teacher says: Hello! Hi!

Students say: Hello! Hi!

2. Teacher says: Hello! I’m Miss Qin.

Put on the headgear and say : I’m Li Yan ( Peter)

3.Ss: I’m Li Yan,(Peter)

Say it themselves or in pairs.

4. Look at the pictures:

Girls put on the headgear and say :Hi! I’m Coco. Hello! I’mMary(RitaAmyKitty Betty Ann Rose Linda Jinjin)

5.Listen to the tape look and read them again and again.

6. Boys put on the headgear and say :Hi! I’m Tiantian. Hello! I am Mike(Tim Robin David Tom Bob
