When I think about my favorite poet, the first person that
comes to mind is a high school student named Emily Dickinson.
She's just so cool and inspiring! I mean, she was writing all these
amazing poems when she was just a teenager, and they're still
famous today.
Emily Dickinson's poems are like little windows into her soul.
They're so deep and emotional, and they really make you think
about life and love and all that important stuff. I especially love
how she uses words in such a clever way, and how she's not
afraid to talk about things that are hard or sad.
One of my favorite poems by Emily Dickinson is called "Hope

emotions and ideas in just a few beautiful lines. My favorite poet
of all time is a Chinese writer named Li Bai who lived over 1,200
years ago during the Tang Dynasty. Even though he wrote so
long ago, his poems still speak to me today.
Li Bai is considered one of the greatest poets in Chinese
history. He wrote over a thousand poems during his lifetime,
many of which are still famous classics studied by students today.
What I love most about Li Bai's poetry is how he uses vivid
imagery to capture the beauty of nature and the simple joys of
life.
One of my absolute favorite Li Bai poems is called "Quiet
Night Thought." It describes the poet lying awake at night,
looking up at the bright moon. He writes about how the
