Module 9 Friendship

Unit 3 Language in use

一、教学目标

1.Through listening, speaking, reading and writing, let students practise the Object Clause.

2.To summarize and consolidate the object clauses.

3.To enjoy and share the happiness of the friendship.

二、学情分析

利用多媒体, 让学生在歌声中感受语言,在轻松愉快的video欣赏中习得语言,在合作的学习、游戏、竞赛等活动中巩固语言。本模块以友谊为话题,探讨学生在友谊问题上的困惑及解决办法,让学生们意识到友谊的重要性,并积极探讨与友人相处的正确方法。经过前两个单元的学习,学生已有了初步的语言输入,本节课主要进行语言输出,尤其是对宾语从句的使用情况,能否自如表达。

三、教学重点

听:能听懂关于友谊问题方面的语言素材。

说:能就友谊话题进行交际交流,并学会与人相处的方式方法。

读:能读懂有关友谊方面的文章。

写:能够运用所学语言知识和语法知识进行有关友谊话题的书面表达。

四、学时难点

1. To be glad to listen to others' opinions and talk about the friendship.

2. To be able to use the Object Clause correctly.

五、教学过程

Step1 Warming up

课前2分钟铃,播放歌曲《友谊地久天长》英文视频。

T: Do you know what name the song is?(Auld Lang Syne)

T: Could you tell me which film it is in?(Waterloo Bridge)

It's the theme song.

T: This class I want to know if you have known what you learned about friendship.

Step2 Lead in

利用白板,当天值日学生表演对话,团队合作完成,熟悉打电话用语。(完成Activity4)

T: Who are on duty today?(four students) Complete the conversations with the sentences and act out it.

Then introduce a girl named Charlie to class. Recently, she has a problem with her friend.

T: Now, let's listen to the record. And try to tell us what is the matter with her,ok?引出听力练习

Step3 Listening

激发学生们的热情之后,测试他们的听力,较难的地方适时暂停。

Let's have a listening test. Please listen carefully. Choose the problem the speaker describes. (学生完成Activity7)

T:Next, three students helped Charlie to solve her problem. Maybe they are useful.

Then listen and number the pieces of advice in the order you hear them. (学生完成Activity8)

Choose the best piece of advice in your opinion for the problem.

Step4 Vocabulary

活动1:Revise the key words. 利用盒子鱼进行复习本模块重点词汇,学生随机抽取练拼和说。

T: Well. Let's revise the some words in this module. Look at the screen.

Say together. Then call the roll.

活动2:Guess the words. 利用白板中模版,编辑字母泡泡,目的让学生熟悉本模块单词。

To master the key words: include, lonely, suggestion, trust, treature...

活动3:Complete the conversation with the words in the box.(白板拖拽功能完成Activity5)

T: I believe you have remembered the words in your mind. What about the phrases? Shall we have a

try?Get ready one by one.

活动4:Revision the phrases. Then complete the passage. (完成Activity6)用不同颜色突出词汇

Pay attention to the forms of the verbs.

Who can you ask for advice when you have a problem with your friends ?

Step5 Free talk

Read the list. Discuss what is important about friedship. Make choices and give reasons why you

choose them.

Work in groups. 每小组推选一名同学做口头作文(完成Activity9)

T: Everyone needs a real friend. I'm sure you must have a best friend in your life. Talk about your

friend, please .

学生表述时注意是否含有宾语从句的使用,为下面的复习做铺垫。

Step6 Grammar

T: In this lesson, we'll revise the Object clause. It's very important in junior school.

First, can you say three points about the object clause? 让学生总结,检查掌握宾语从句的三要素知识情况。Well done!

活动1:Complete the conversation with if,what,when,whether,or why.(完成Activity2)

活动2:中考链接Make a multiple choice. (历年中考真题)

Pay attention to the two points, statement order and tense.

活动3:Complete the sentences so that they are true for you. For example...(完成Activity3)

Step7 Reading

In this procedure, ask students to read Around the world.

Make sure they understand the meaning of the passage.

Do the exercises.

T: Do you have a penfriend? Do you want to join a club to make penfriends? Ok. You can do it. 鼓励学生结交益友,提高语言表达能力。

Step8 Sum up

小结本节课所学重点,回顾黑板学习目标。

Step9 Homework

Make a poster about the friendship.

Write about your own experience and draw some pictures.

Then ask some groups to present the poster to the rest of the class.

七、课后反思

本节课复习课,我将教材整合, 对教材的内容进行适当的补充、删减、调序,把知识点化难为易。将知识不断滚动、内化和外延。对学生听、说、读、写多方面能力进行提升,主要围绕友谊话题,进行语言输出。形式多样,夯实词汇。亮点:Boxfish盒子鱼随机选复习重点词汇,白板遮盖功能顺序叫,关注每一个学生参与活动。不足:练习环节之间的衔接比较生硬,对学生不能适时纠正,个别发音。在语法宾语从句讲解时,一些特殊情况没给出练习,后期还要再巩固,让学生多使用宾语从句进行表达。
