Dear Editor,

I am writing to express my concern about the current state of

our school's English teaching methods. As a student who is

deeply invested in my academic development, I have noticed

that our current approach to learning English could be

significantly improved.

Firstly, the reliance on rote memorization is not conducive

to genuine language acquisition. Students are often required

to memorize large amounts of vocabulary and grammar rules

without understanding the context in which they are used.

This leads to a superficial grasp of the language that does

not translate to effective communication.

Secondly, the lack of practical speaking and listening

exercises is a significant drawback. English is a language

that is meant to be spoken and heard, yet our classes are

predominantly focused on reading and writing. Incorporating

more interactive activities such as role-plays, debates, and

discussions would greatly enhance our speaking and listening

skills.

Moreover, the absence of cultural exposure is another area

that needs attention. Learning a language is not just about

mastering its grammar and vocabulary; it is also about

understanding the culture and traditions of the people who speak it. Introducing cultural elements into our lessons

would make the learning process more engaging and meaningful.

In conclusion, I believe that by addressing these issues, our

school can significantly improve the quality of English

education. I urge the administration to consider implementing

changes that promote a more holistic and effective approach

to language learning.

As can be seen from the above charts, some important changes have taken place in the past years with regard to the employment of university graduates. In 1992,

about 50％ of the university graduates found suitable positions in state-owned firms,

while only 18％ of them were working in private firms. However, in 2002, private firms took almost 50％ of graduate, while only 15％ of them were willing to work in state-owned firms. It is no difficult job for us to come up with some possible factors that underlie the above changes. In the first place, most state-owned firms were still operated under planned economy, whose economic condition was not as good as expected. Therefore, fewer and fewer university graduates wanted to find jobs in state-owned firms. In the second place, private firms were run under market-oriented economy. There were flexible systems in private firms, in which university graduates were more likely to apply what they had learned in school to their work. Thus they could have more chances to be promoted, as they were willing to work in private firms. From what has been discussed so far, I think that the employment situation in the state-owned firms won’t change much so long as the state-owned firms don’t change their system. And it can be predicted that the present situation will continue for quite a while in the near future. （出国）旅游

2012考研英语二 书信类小作文模板分析

信函从类别上分类包括以下几种类型：建议信、投诉信、求职信、辞职信、感谢信、道歉信、表扬信、询问信等。从信函对象来分的话，包括私人信函和公务信函。

一、英文书信格式

缩进式：称呼顶格写，正文每段第一行向后缩进4个字母，段与段之间不空行，落款位于中间偏右的位置。

齐头式：称呼、正文和落款均顶格写。正文中，段与段之间空一行。
